Finally, there's a fun, family game, with good, wholesome, Biblical morals and values!!!

I bought the GameBoy Advance version also, because it is a completely different game than the Xbox version. (Read my review for GameBoy Advance.)

Ok, the best place to start is the beginning. In this case, let's begin at the game menu:

When the game is finished loading, you see the Menu screen. On this screen, there is High Scores, Options, TV Game Show, and Challenge Games.
I'll start with TV Game Show:

You are now in the character selection screen. You can either play alone, against 3 computer players, or play with friends, and family; 4 players can play together. Once you have selected your charater(s), the game begins...

The name of the game is "Do Unto Others". The host is introduced, and starts the game by randomly selecting who will go first. There is a Game Board, with colorful, numbered squares. The chosen player gets to select a square:

Ok, behind the square, anything can happen. Anything ranging from Testament Trivia to The Wrath of God could be waiting behind any given square. Here is a list of things that you could find:

Testament Trivia: If you find this behind your square, the host will ask all of you a question from the Old Testament. (you can go into the options screen and adjust the difficulty of the questions). If you get the question correct, your turn continues, and you choose another square; if you get it wrong, your turn ends, and the next player takes his/her turn.

Challenge Games: These games for for everyone. Too many games to mention, but they are all related to the Old Testament Bible. Games include David and Goliath; False Idols; The Walls of Jericho. Fun games.

Blessing: This is a one player game. Fun games, like; Follow The Light; Angels and Devils

Commandment: If this is revealed, the player gets to select who they recieve points from; Heaven, Leader, Everyone. And the amount of points.

Do Unto Others: The player who gets this square unselfishly helps out another player; This could mean giving another player points, giving up your turn to that player, playing a game and giving the points earned to that player. You have only 10 seconds to make a choice, and the options flash on the screen pretty quickly...

The Wrath of God: Did I mention that you can end your turn anytime, and pass to another player? You don't want to be the one who opens this sqaure!!! The Wrath of God square works two different ways. The most common is a player opens this square, and you see a plague of frogs, locusts, or another plague all over the screen, and the host will say you have lost your points, and that round is over (there are as many rounds as time allows; you play until the clock runs out). The second, less common way, there may be only one square left on the board; another player could pass their turn to you. You have no choice but to open the square and reveal this rapidly spinning box; Ok, now, on this box 3 of the 4 sides have a Wrath of God, 1 side has a jackpot (oh, on the upper lefthand corner of the screen, you see this jackpot...ok, just forgot to mention before). The box is spinning rapidly; will you stop it in time to chance getting the jackpot, or will you recieve the Wrath of God?

Game plays like that for many rounds, number value on the gameboard increases each round, until time runs out.

Once time has run out, the host will tell you it's time to move on the the Grace of God:

Here's how this works: This is your final chance in the game to build your points up; good thing, especially if you're low on points. You see the Tree from the Garden of Eden. There are ?'s all over it. Behind the ? is either fruit (good) or the serpent(bad). Find the fruit, build up your points; find the serpent, you lose all the points earned in this round.
That's the TV Game show.

If you choose Challenge Game from the Menu screen, you see the entire list of all the Challenge Games. Once you have selected your character(s), you can select which game you want to play.

There needs to be more games like this. I strongly recommend, and support this game. I encourage everyone to buy both this version and the GameBoy Advance version(plays entirely different, read my review for GameBoy Advance).

Bible Fun Mania

Sit down with a couple good christian friends and be ready to have a blast. This game is great for kids and adults. There are many different difficulties for the trivia, so anyone can play.

Here's how the game works. Its modeled after the gameshow Press Your Luck. You press the buzzer and randomly (almost) select a space on the board. Then you may either take part in a mini game or a trivia question. These can be group tasks or individual games. All the mini games are a blast, and you can practive in the Mini Game mode. All very wonderful to reinforce good christian values.

After each game or question, you are rewarded points and can then go again or pass control. If you land on Wrath of God however, you lose all your points for that round, so be carefull.

The game is very entertaining for a group and the trivia, mini games, and excellent christian rock soundtrack test your old testament knowledge and entertain your mind and soul. Finally a game to play with the whole family. Good luck, and God Bless.

I bought this game for my kids at Christmas, hoping that they would play it and not realize they were learning about the Bible in the process. Turns out this game is my kids favorite game to play. I have nephews that have never attended Church and they came over and they played it and had a blast, (even though they didn't know any of the trivia answers) but they also learn from this game. The Bible game teaches more than just Bible trivia, it also teaches giving unselfishly, helping one another, and what can happen if you choose to take the wrong path (ie: the Wrath of God and the Grace of God). I would recommend this game to anyone and everyone, I am hoping to see more games like this one in the future, maybe The Bible Game II : The New Testament

I got this game a few days ago, and I really enjoyed playing it with my family. I own a number of Bible trivia board games, and the weakness with them is that people with more knowledge of the Bible annihilate those without that knowledge. This game combines Bible trivia with Bible-themed video game modes, and the 'wrath of God' part will level the playing field as well. The final round involves picking fruit from a tree for points, which increase successively. If the snake is chosen from the tree, you lose all of the points from the tree. This part of the game lets other users catch up, and can cost you the game if you're greedy. With these parts of the game, it makes it so the same person will not win every time. This will make the game fun for those with less Bible knowledge, which means they should want to play again and again.

This game is not specifically Christian. The trivia is all based on the Old Testament. The music is Contemporary Christian, but it could easily be a game that would be fun for Jewish people.

My favorite challenge game is 'False Idols,' in which the players compete to destroy idols.

The question difficulty can be adjusted. They are multiple choice, and everyone has to pick before you find out the answer. Some of the answers are obviously wrong, in a funny way. An example concerned the rebuilding of a gate in Jerusalem. One of the options for the correct name of the gate was "the West Wing." I thought that was funny. Also, some of the names of people given as possible answers on the easy level were "Sammy" and "Ralph."

Overall I love the game. It makes for a fun evening with my family, and I like playing it by itself.

This game may seem corny but it is a great game for all. Especially when it comes to learning more about the bible. The games are fun and yet easy to play. It's all about learning about the bible not winning the game. Yes you do but it goes deeper than that. I was hoping that they do a Bible game 2 about the new testament. I sure hope they do. I would buy it.

This is an awesome game that lets you have fun,and at the same time,learn about the bible.You can either play challenge games based on tales from the bible,or play a TV Show Game,where you can randomly select Challenge Games,Trivia From The Old Testament,Blessing Games(Single Games),Commandments,Do Unto Others,or the Wrath Of God,where you lose all your points.I love this game and i`m sure you will,too.

You would think, if you truly had God on your side, you'd be able to produce a better game. However Crave's The Bible Game appears to be mostly devoid of compelling content, or honestly, any kind of Christian message at all.
The video game is based around a game show. That pins you against either 4 human or computer controlled characters. It seems decent enough however until you realize there is very little order to how the game is run. Each player takes turns randomly jumping onto different points on the game board. One of these pieces is "The Wrath of God", where you lose all of your points for the round if you land on it. Just so we get this clear. The Wrath of God is completely random and the deserving and undeserving are likely to land on it. Nice way to spread the Love of God.
In the final round, Players have a chance to get some extra points from the Tree of Knowledge. If you pick any fruit, other than the apple, you get a lot of extra points. However if you pick the apple, you lose all of your points. Once again this is completely random and you wonder why you should even try. This game seems to favor focusing on the mean spirited God of the Old Testament and leave out Jesus altogether. Once again, Nice way to spread the love of God.
The challenges are both trivia and minigames which consist of questions that are repeated all too often. The game claims to have over 1500 Bible questions but you only have access to the questions based on the difficulty you set for the game at the beginning so players get ripped off by not getting the total game experience.
One of the best games is the tower of Babel. This has the feel of "stab your neighbor in the back". Otherwise, there's just not much fun to be had. Most of the games have a Christian soundtrack so either you'll enjoy the game because you like it or you'll enjoy it because the songs are so painfully annoying.
As a pastor, I'm embarrassed to see that this is what we Christians have to offer the public. If you just want to entertain the kiddies for a few minutes, this game is fine. honestly, Most stories in the Bible could honestly make for an awesome gaming experience if we focused on one character such as David. But considering we are to show the excellence of God, in all that we do, this game falls way too short. There seems to be no message at all about the core belief of Jesus and what our message is, The Great Commission. If we are to spread the word, we need to start by not making bad video games.

Pros:The Tower of Babel minigame is fun
Cons: Most of the other games are boring, The game mechanics are mushy

I have been eyeing this game ever since it came out and I finally bought it because it was on sale for a ridiculously cheap price. I think I was looking forward to the trivia part of the game more than the Bible-themed challenges, but the trivia aspect of the game doesn't tend to show up very much.

The game is in a game-show format with four players. The person who is "in control of the board" selects a box, behind which there may be a challenge, a trivia question, an opportunity to steal points from someone else, or the "Wrath of God," which takes away all of your points for that round (an extremely frustrating aspect of the game that I could have done without). There is a timer counting down from 20:00. I'm not sure of the significance of the timer because the game kept going for several minutes after it had counted down, but eventually the game moved onto the final round, "The Garden of Eden," which is a "Deal or No Deal" type of game that each player plays individually.

I'm sure this game would work great if you have kids and you want to avoid some of the more mature games out there. It might also be a good game to play after Bible study or something. It obviously works best if you can play with four players; otherwise it gets boring having to sit through other players' turns. Most of the mini-game challenges are okay, but a few had extremely frustrating controls. The challenges have upbeat contemporary Christian music playing in the background, which is kind of cool.

However, if you're just looking for a game to play by yourself, this doesn't really do the job. You can play the mini-games by themselves for practice, but none of them are really so great that I'd want to play them over and over again.

One warning: make sure you buy this game for the system you are most familiar with. I bought the Xbox version because it was the only one available and I found that this gave me a disadvantage in the trivia rounds (which as you may recall, is that part of the game that I was most looking forward to). Even though I would know the answer and buzz in first, I would often hit the wrong button. If the answer was X, I would hit the A button because it is located where the X button is on the PS2. Just keep that in mind when deciding on which version to buy.

If you are looking for a game that teaches Biblical facts,this is not it. The music is current CCM.Makes light of the Wrath of God. This is not a good game for anyone who takes God serious. If you are worldly this is for you. This is a waste of money.
