Finally a snipe game

Finally! I've waited for ever for there to be a sniping game! This is just the ticket! This is one of the better console conversions ive seen, though, nothing beats the arcade gun. And thats the ONLY problem, no gun. Dont get this game unless you are VERY good with the DC controler or have a DC gun, otherwise you will be disapointed in the results. When i bought it i didnt have a gun but was OK with the controler so it was still fun, but oh my gosh how much better the gun makes it! So yea, its a great game but if your getting it for yourself or someone else get a gun as well!

intresting sniper game

i think this game is o.k. it's certainly not as fun as playing it in the arcade with a giant sniperrifle with a t.v. screen in the "scope". the game is extremely hard because it's hard to make the right shot with a really sensitive joystick.the gameplay is not all to good becaus there is only like 2 paths to choose besides training. some parts of the storyline are also pretty lame. who would sneak into a mansion using a sniper rifle to take down your enemies? a little bit fun to see how far your friends can get into the game but without the "quarters" like the arcade it's impossible to get to the end. good graphics, but not enough game. i hate to bash a video game, so i won't. The game is fun to wath with your friends, but there isn't to much to do in the game itself. please click whether this info was useful or not. thanks.

Those words bring forth a world of panic in most, but not you. You are a professional sniper, cold, cool... you live to do one thing, and that is to complete the mission quickly, flawlessly, and without being spotted. For being spotted means your death, of course... and after all, you're being paid to do this, may as well do your job well.

Well, you should either buy this game or go to an arcade and play it. It's one of the games that will be put under the "true classic" column, along with such greats as Lethal Enforcers, Metal Gear Solid, and Half-Life. Yes, yes, I know... Konami made most of those games. But they're good games. My only gripe with the game itself is that damned voice... I can still hear him... those words... "Watch out! The enemy is going to shoot!"

However, with the home release, you are missing the whole picture... No gun. That's right, you use your controller. While the game still plays well without the gun, I'll still go down to the ole arcade just for the gun.

This game is a lot of fun. It is very difficult, but it contains many different training modes and ranges from which to choose to hone your skills on. The time attack modes are also a lot of fun because you can see how well you are doing against the lowest times in the middle of an attempt to beat your own records. If you're into the gore, you can also make it so blood splatters everywhere when you hit someone. The different settings= (highway, downtown, stadium, nightvision...) add to the fun. If you liked shooting games, then get it!

I have played Silent Scope a little bit, and I enjoy the graphics and the different senarios. One of the main reasons why I purchased the game was so that I had another game in which to use my light gun on (besides House of the Dead 2 which is a great game with the light gun), but I found out that the light gun doesn't work with the game. I was very disappointed. I was mislead into thinking that this first person shooter would allow me to use the gun, but it does not. Maybe it is the gun (but it works fine on HOTD2), I am not sure. I would be interested in hearing if other people had the same problem.

I played this game at the arcades, and wow!!!! I love shooting games but there never was a sniper game out there,until now. Up to this point I wasn't even thinking about buying a Dreamcast, but then saw this. If you own a DC buy this, if you have the money for a DC andthis game buy them, you wont regret it.

You want more and more

I played this game at the arcade and i was blown away i wasted all my quarters this game, it is so much fun the graphics are amazing and it is so realistic your a sniper who has certain duties and you must perform them this is one of the most fun most realistic most AMAZING games i have ever played you gotta get this game!

Good fast-paced action game

I have played and beaten the PS2 version of this game. It's very fast-paced action, which is the game's biggest asset. I would agree with the consensus that the game is not really worth full price since you can beat it very easily. I am a very casual gamer and it did not take me very long. You can play the 'Story' mode through in about 11 minutes. If you can pick up a used copy or rent it for a weekend, it is well worth it.

This game is great. The graphics are great, and the control is easily used. Personally I used codes for this game and I cant imagine anyone on else beating it with out them. The bosses are impossible!!!! This game is really good but one thing still troubles me. HOW DO YOU BREAK THE UNBREAKABLE GLASS????????

This was the best arcade game I have played. With that said it was the absolute worst game I have ever played on any system. It is near impossible to move your site on the bosses because they move way to fast if you want to buy this game i consider renting it first and decide.
