VO:OT is definetly worth your money

Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram is an incedible game. It features plenty of characters, modes, and extras to keep you playing for a long time. If you've never played either of the Virtual On games you'll be in for a treat. The game features numerous robotic characters of which you can use to slash, slice, shoot, and do other attacks to defeat your opponent. The graphic quality of the game is unbelieveable, and you'll be hard-pressed to find any other game on the Dreamcast, or any other game on any other system that looks as good as this. The sound is also very nice featuring loud sound effects and great music. The only problem I find with VO:OT is that if you have become accustomed to using the twin sticks for VOOTing you might start out with some control problems. But if you've never used the twin sticks before it won't matter anyway. Either way, you'll eventually find a control setting to your liking. Other than that, I can't recommend this game enough.Whether it be to hardcore videogamers, casual gamers, or just anyone who owns a Dreamcast.

Sega dishes out yet another amazing port from their awesome arcade cabinets. Virtual-On: Oratorio Tangram is a game based on speed, style, and mayhem. If you don't got any of those qualities, then you're a dead Virtuaroid. The twinsticks' absence in the US made buyers wary of purchasing VOOT, but the game is so fun and fast, where's the time to complain? Turn on the game and just have a blast.

Eye-poppingly sharp visuals. As one reviewer said, VOOT is another Sega game proving that jaggies don't have to be in videogames, just on PlayStation 2. VOOT moves at a dead-on 60fps, as fast or even faster than Soul Calibur. Polygons are bright and very sharp. Graphically, it is one of the most cleanest-lookin games I've played.

You choose from 11 Virtuaroids to be pitted in an arena to do battle with another Virtuaroid. Rules are simple: totally demolish your opponent and win. Each Virtuaroid has up to 20 different combos you can pull off from 3 different weapons. Fire at will; bombs, rockets, lasers, and even ice dragons will rain all over the arena. There is so much mayhem on screen, yet the game doesn't slow down one bit. You just wanna keep kicking the crap outta your opponent.

Is it worth the purchase? It depends; if you're one of those whiny gamers who fuss about the damn twinsticks, forget it. For those you want Sega's fast and furious action and an all-out good game, buy it. Either way, it's still a unique addition for your DC library. Hop into a Virtuaroid and let the battles begin. VOOT rocks.

Keeps the legend alive.

When I played the original Vurtual On, I was amazed. When I heard they were coming out with a new one for DC, I couldn't wait. I got it as soon as it came out and I still play it. This game rocks. Once you are used to the controls you are ready for action. No twin sticks needed, it is still just as fun. This game is extremely fast paced though. You don't want to blink. It is best played multiplayer. The single player mode is [notvery good]. But everything else is great. In conclusion, this game is defenately true to the original. Still the best fun possable.

The most fun 3D fighter on the Dreamcast

Virtual On rocks!! The controls take some getting used to and the Dreamcast holds up pretty well to this end. The graphics are AWESOME, the action is FAST and the game is TIGHT! If you have finished beating Soul Calibur for the millionth time and you're ready for a real 3D challenge then pick this up. This game is a gem from the far east, don't let it slip by.

Did I mention that the animation is silky smooth, the graphics are some of best that the Dreamcast can produce and action is fast and furious. The frame rate never drops below the standard 60 and this makes for some great action. The time and effort taken to produce each Mech is seen in the level of detail for each character. The character backround stages are also exceptional which makes for some serious eye candy. This game looks GOOD!

If you had second thoughts then sweep them away and get this, you won't regret it!

THE BEST GRAPHICS YET ON ANY SYSTEM

If you like robots than automatically you will like this game. It has features like storymode, verses, traning, watch a computer generated battle, replay the every thing that you played sensed you turned your dreamcast on or saved data like after a fight you did good on it will say save right after it and you could replay the whole intire battle. And there is options. The bad thing about this game is that its not that long, but that depends if you get tired of things quickly. This is the best fighting game yet. Also this game is great with the tremor pak. SO BUY THIS GAME NOW!

This game is similiar to the first one on the saturn. The graphics have been beefed up a little, and there are more virtual ons to pilot. The only thing that ruins this game is that the control schemes are horribly and there is no way to set your own buttons. This makes some of the move almost impossible to pull off. Other then that, It is a solid game and a good addition to any dreamcast gamers collection.

Most people say this game NEEDs the twin sticks but you cant play it with the twin sticks you wouldnt be able to do special moves or combos or anything! If your a mech lover the just get this game otherwise go buy put-put mini golf.

The game is impossible to play without the twinstick control

If you've read anything about this game, then you probably know about the problem with the controls. I'll just re-emphasize that this game is worthless without those twinsticks. Changing direction requires you to move the analog pad while walking has to be done using the normal directional pad... ok maybe if I had 2 thumbs on my left hand?

THIS GAME STINKS
