What the game doctor ordered

I used to be a nintendo person until it became old. A gameboy advanceSP was bought soon afterwards, but I only had 1 game. I searched for the perfect game, however there was always a problem with them. I just happened to read my brother's magazine out of boredome and found this game. Reading about the game I found out it was a Mario party based game and purchased it 3 days after it came out. My old nintendo joy lived once more! It is alot like Mario party with different characters. It's mini-games are playable on a different setting and you don't have to earn them beforehand. I don't own a link cable for SP, but with this game you can play multiplayer on just 1 system! Some boards are easy to win,but others aren't. I recommend the first 2 levels for those who don't want their heart broken. The computer chooses it's character depending on who you pick(ex:Courage always vs Eddy, reverse.) The boards are shorter, and the mini-game is based on the board. You don't have to have 4 players either. Here are mini-game tips.

Tips:

Greased Porkbutts:First catch your own pig, then steal them. Holding a pig is timed though. pushing A while touching someone makes them drop their pig.

Aim for the fences:(I'm playing as Courage!)Without moving the slingshot back you can get Cow. Move a little back for Sarah and Eddy. Shoot where they're going, not at them.

H2 uh oh:Go to the middle when it says ready. Don't go to a wall! You can touch the splash not the balloon.

Strike a pose: Don't look at the timer and just push the buttons. Careful on the keypad!

Zombeat the clock: Once you pick up a garlic touch 1 player. They are normal for a limited time!

Backyard boogie: Run and stop at a safe zone before you go further.

Fish frenzy: Don't go too deep and don't move the boat.

Grand prix is hard, I can't beat it.

Skating the u: Move the keypad left and right depending on where your facing.

Hide n' seek: Try all the places in order.

Weremole waltz: Just take it slowly.

Freaky fireplace: Most flames don't need the slingshot to move back.

Snatch-a-bat: Find their grouping spot and stay there. Catch slow bats too.

Cold cash workout: When the dollar is near a person just inch toward it.
I hope I helped you, sorry about grand prix!

Check this out.

This is a Game Boy game that features your favorite Cartoon Network characters and putting them all together in this swell board game theme. Play as Courage, Eddy, Sarah, Johnny Bravo, Cow, or Chicken in these four unique boards and compete to see who's the best by yourself or with up to three friends. There's also some neat mini games based on each of the boards that are rather fun to play, if you know how. Some mini games like ones involving grabbing dollar bills can get a little tricky.

So give "Block Party" a try. Kinda beats the heck outta the "Mario Party" franchise if you ask me. Plus, try your luck on "Cartoon Network Speedway" for Game Boy Advance which is also available.

It must be very fun to play this game, because my 6 year old daughter will laugh at loud often while with it. She likes it enough, but I noticed that my 10 year old son doesn't pay the same attention to this game.

Got this for my 6 year old grandson, since he was always taking his older brother's gameboy. Got him a Gameboy from Amazon (used) also, so he was all set to go and the big brother did not have to worry about his "stuff". Now they are both happy and can switch games when they want.
