If you are a fan of any or all First-Person Shooters (personally, I've gotta have 'em all), this game is great! Firstly, though, the Game Boy Advance has blown me away with what I didn't know handhelds could do! What a unit! Yep, and Ecks Vs. Sever (soon to be movie) is a must-have. Like they say, graphics, controls, music - it tops my list of all games I've played on ANY platforms.

Dark Arena Vs. Ecks & Sever

Dark Arena or Ecks Vs. Sever I can't decide. Some say Dark Arena's better, some say Ecks vs Sever is better. Which one should I choose? They both sound pretty cool. Could please tell which one is better?

ah guning games is there anything better well perhaps RPG's.

First off, let me start off by saying, that i bought this game, and by later that day I was taking it back. For me, personally I like eye-candy style games which keep my attention through wonderful gameplay and amazing graphics. I must say, for the most part, that this game bored me, lacked the graphics that I normally enjoy, the depth of gameplay was prehistoric, and personally I would pick a third person side-scroller any day over this game.

This game is terrible. Also very fake, for example, I used an entire G-11 Machine Gun clip on one SWAT soldier, Doom is Much better.
Terrible storyline and very bad gameplay!

This game is ok but there are much better games out there. here is my breakdown of the game.

graphics: 8/10

controls: 6/10

replay value: 4/10

are you all crazy?
I have read many reviews of this game before I bought it.
People write: "pixelled Grphics,..blablabla" and
"No music, etc.,etc,.." also
"few colors,...." and
"stupid enemies,..."
When you think of a normal FP Shooter,you are right, of course,
but remember: this game is packed into a 5cm wide, 3cm high and 5mm thick plastic case - You can't expect that much.
For a GameBoy, this is a great Game.
( Remember: Supermarioland 1 needs more space!)

I think: "Playing a first-person-shooter while going by bus is simply fun. Too, if it's a bit pixellated when you get close to a wall or somethin! "

This is an amazing game with a likeness that can be compared to the bigger consol FPS game. The graphics arn't quite as good, but the gameplay is their, with a great storyline, and a choice of two charecters -- my advise? -- If you see it, buy it.

this is a truly beautiful game, gameplay is amazing, missions are varied and innovative, more than we could have asked for from our GBA, but why O why is it so easy to complete???
just 14 missions (i think!!!) and some are dead easy (and short),
why not a hard or "nightmare" mode for fans of first pers. shooters like me. let's hope that "ballistic" will excel where the first one can frustrate some of us...
in a few words : very good game, probably the best of its kind, but a bit too easy...

I've got to be honest, I bought me a Gameboy Advance because I wanted to play First-Person Shooters on the go. I've got more than enough to play now(Backtrack,DOOM,Dark Arena, Wolfenstein 3D) and, even with my mentoning all of those being great games on their own and favorites of mine, there's another I have to add to my list. Ecks vs. Sever.
I can't really describe the game to you. Part of me wants to call it the GBA equivalent of Goldeneye but that would be doing the game injustice as it's several different types of First-Person Shooters. What can I tell you about it? Well, It's fun, intense, and downright addictive. It's definitely worth adding to your game collection. Trust me.
You know it's got to be good because a second game is coming in the series for the Gameboy Advance. So, get your copy today. This game rocks!!!
