this game [stinks]. it got boreing after five minutes and freezes every fifeteen. after an hour this game was sold. the graphics are really bad. you never have enough ammo and the weapons shoot to quickly so all your ammo is gone. the most accurate weapon in the game is the sniper rifle because it is MANUALLY aimed. your shots do very little to the enemy and theirs take about HALF (thats right HALF) your live. the swat commanders take two clips on the m16 or 3 for the jack hammer (the most powerfull gun in the game but it fires to god damn slow) to continue a mission you need a frieken code. this game is NOT in any way at all realilistic. the guns do not hold the right amount of ammo. your weapons reload too slow and the enemys (even the guards( the weakest in the game and who have revolvers) seem to have an almost endless supply of ammo with no reload time.if you do run out of ammo (and you will.your pitol which sucks) slowly feeds one and only one round into the chamber at a very very slow speed. all in all this game frekin [stinks] and the creators and design team need to be takin out back and shot(not letrally) for makeing this game which descraces the good name of nentindo and the GBA.

First off, let me start off by saying, that i bought this game, and by later that day I was taking it back. For me, personally I like eye-candy style games which keep my attention through wonderful gameplay and amazing graphics. I must say, for the most part, that this game bored me, lacked the graphics that I normally enjoy, the depth of gameplay was prehistoric, and personally I would pick a third person side-scroller any day over this game.

This game is terrible. Also very fake, for example, I used an entire G-11 Machine Gun clip on one SWAT soldier, Doom is Much better.
Terrible storyline and very bad gameplay!

Not like Goldeneye...

This game isn't all that bad, but it's more like Doom or Duke Nuke 'Em. This is not even close to Goldeneye which one of the reviewers below had stated. The graphics are so-so, and the gameplay gets kind of boring after just a few run-throughs. To summarize...if you like games such as Doom, then you'll probably like this as a portable. If you think it's going to be like Goldeneye, then don't even bother and save your money for something else.

Let me begin by saying this:Ecks vs.Sever is undoubtably the best fps out for gameboy advance.This game is simple,fun,solid and just plain enjoyable for anyone craving some shooting action on the go.Games like Evs.S are why I bought a GBA!The graphics to E.vs.S are very nice clean and animated smoothly(although it is a bit pixy up close).The enemies are well designed and easy to recognise on GBAs small screen as well as tough.The cool thing about E.vs.S is the crossover between the charecters,for example:one point in the game you have to snip sever,but when you play as sever you must avoid becoming snipped.Eks vs.Sever is a SUPERB GBA title and should not be missed by any shooting fan.

hey, this is one of the best games i have bought for the gba. it has wonderful graphics, cool music, great sfx, the best gameplay. Also, the game is very hard (which could act as a plus or minus depending on the type of gamer). This i one of the best games out on gba now!

are you all crazy?
I have read many reviews of this game before I bought it.
People write: "pixelled Grphics,..blablabla" and
"No music, etc.,etc,.." also
"few colors,...." and
"stupid enemies,..."
When you think of a normal FP Shooter,you are right, of course,
but remember: this game is packed into a 5cm wide, 3cm high and 5mm thick plastic case - You can't expect that much.
For a GameBoy, this is a great Game.
( Remember: Supermarioland 1 needs more space!)

I think: "Playing a first-person-shooter while going by bus is simply fun. Too, if it's a bit pixellated when you get close to a wall or somethin! "

this is a truly beautiful game, gameplay is amazing, missions are varied and innovative, more than we could have asked for from our GBA, but why O why is it so easy to complete???
just 14 missions (i think!!!) and some are dead easy (and short),
why not a hard or "nightmare" mode for fans of first pers. shooters like me. let's hope that "ballistic" will excel where the first one can frustrate some of us...
in a few words : very good game, probably the best of its kind, but a bit too easy...
