whoever gave it one star isnt thinking correctly

If you gave this game one star, you could not have played this game. It has awesome digital sound, that cannot be matched. it is a great game with a slow begining, but more than makes up for it with great gameplay. this game deserves six stars if there were it. dont rate it badly if you havn't even played it before.

most strategic shooting game

this is a great game. it doesnt matter how good you are at video games your gonna have to have stragety skills. You go through 15 different missions. objectives include hostage rescue, disarming bombs, nuetralizing (killing) terrorist, shut down security systems, bugging areas (placing cameras) and other recon type missions, and more. there are 2 recon missions where you use 1 operative and the others you use a whole team which you choose out of a selection of snipers, recon, assault, and demolitions.
each operative has different abilities and charicteristics and is good for different purposes. it has multiplayer and you can go on lone wolf mode to play missions without a team. it saves your missions with 5 different memory slot! one thing that i mad about is that i cant find a way to beat mission 5. Its a recon mission and ive tried everything but i just cant find out how to beat it. ...

Urban Combat on the go

This game is very fun for the military-minded person. The graphics are amazing, and give you a sense that youre in the ruined buildings in Urban cites in other countries. The missions are slow, and each moves has to be planned. You cant jump in because you'll hear a scream and watch your operative get hit by a sniper's bullet. The game all-in all has a very great story. I played this game on a...in total..20+ hour trip back and forth and it has entertained me 2000+ feet in the air :)

If you like guns, the military, or strategic combat, this is the game for you. No music obviously, a clancy game, but a fun game once you master it and get past the first level. The controls are AMAZING and its just amazing how quick the button combos are and how eaisly you can stage complex assaults. Try this: blow down a door with a shotgun with guy, throw a flashbang with another, and move in to clear the room all under seconds with a total of 5 buttons on a screen few inches large? Thats a work of art.

This is a good. I cant get past level 5 but since the replay value is great i enjoy playing levels 1-4 over and over agian. You organise o team of 5 if one guy dies during the mission and you beat the mission you cannot use that guy again. The blood in this game is cool and dead bodies dont disapear. Overall this game is great

A major let down

This game is a serious let down for all Rainbow Six fans, it's main highlights include poor storylines and plots, edgy cinematics and re-inforced by terrible graphics. This is a major dissapointment, and really I wreckon this game should never have been dreamt up, let alone released, it's terrible and should never see the light of day.

This has got to be the one of the best action games I have ever played. It's up there with Goldeneye 007 and Ace Combat 4. It combines eye-popping graphics with incredible sound, strategy, and fun. One of the best games for GBA, along with Golden Sun and Advance Wars

Peace Out Yo!

Great Strategy Game, but...

This game is good and all, but the bad part is how I can't beat the 9th level. I only rated 5 stars just because it was fun for the last 8 levels. The 9th level is another recon mission. Level 5 was hard enough, but this one takes it way too far! Overall, though, this game is cool.

best game!

Rogue Spear is one of the best war video games I have ever played. It has good graphics and a good sound track.I would play it all night except I am only on the 2nd level and it is very hard.Oh yeah, I also lost it.It is very sad.

It's AMAZING , but you must understand the learning curve.

Boy, this game is DEEP: Just forget what they say about cinematics, there are not ! Those comments where about some pc version speculation... Nothing like that. The story is NEW (it's the sequel), all missions are NEW (though some locations are in common with pc, and the story explains why .
After the first 5 minutes I didn't think I was going to like it...I had played the PC version of the first R6 game and the GBA version felt very, very oversimplified in terms of strategy, and yet overly complex in the way of control - WAS I WRONG! 3 missions in and I am LOVING this title! It really requires that you choose a well balanced team in terms of gear and utilize ALL the controls proficiently - once you can switch players and gear, strafe, crouch etc without thinking about which buttons to press, the game suddenly opens up! Like all games of this type, the beauty of the gameplay comes from the freestyle approach one can take approaching certain situations: if you want to storm in guns ablaze, then this is possible, however if you prefer to take just your sniper (with a high stealth statistic) and sneak around in the shadows, eliminating the enemy via stealth tactics then this is possible too!
Sound is absolutely astounding! In fact I would go out on a limb to say that the audio is the best, most immersive I personally have heard on the system to date! FULL of digitalized audio.(Use headphones!!!)
And.. multiplayer ... is like counterstrike on GBA !! Even the flashbang blid effect is here, and the sniper is really cool. So amazing AI, open and deep tactical -1 shot 1 kill- gameplay. Get it, and understand that a complex game has a learning curve.
