At this price the whole 3 need for speed games is almost a gift. I have the NFS underground for PC, and when i saw this pack i thought of buying it just for the Underground 2 and the most wanted. Well it was a surprise to see the underground 1 to be such a great game, the one on the PC is just junk, i don't understand how they sell the same game to be so different on two platforms, in essence is the same game, but the graphics, sound, play control and smoothness that this game has in PS2 makes it incredibly good, i'm playing it again on the PS2. Don't hesitate if you're looking for a speed title to play, this pack will give you fun for months and if you're looking for a gift for somebody who likes to play car games then this is it. I thought i was buying 2 games because i was putting one on the dusty shelf, but i was wrong i got 3 great games that i'm very happy of playing.

These days, the thrills of the Playstation 2, may be near to a end in favor of a new crop of games for the Playstation 3 for years to come. That also has been said at times with racing games as well. While many of them have came and gone from so many, Need For Speed has been a racing constant for the past decade. Electronic Arts' thrill of the fastest has been recognized by so many, and it continues to bring out the best for so many gamers. Need For Speed Carbon, which was released for the PS2 earlier this year, delivered a whole range of excitement from the rich rush of the canyon duels, to the chase by the police. But for those who haven't yet experienced the previous editions of Need For Speed, than this might be for you.
The Need For Speed Collection for the Playstation 2, is a collection of three of the four thrilling Need For Speed race games that have been delivering new racers young and old. This collection includes the thrills of the Underground with Need For Speed Underground, where you race through the mean streets, trying to drift, drag, and master your way throughout each level of the game. The gameplay is good, but the control is not as improved as the sequel.
Need For Speed Underground 2, expands the gameplay very well, as you are racing your way through the mean streets of Bayview, as you know your way through the secrets of each way, as you battle many different races, including the Indy 500 speedway-like, Street X races. The gameplay and the control on this version is much more in tune here, and the gameplay is much more polished as you race speed demons like the Mazda RX-5, and SUV's like the Hummer and Lincoln Navigator.
The final installment, Need For Speed Most Wanted, is the best of the bunch. The game follows you as a framed man in the middle of the blacklist heat, as you clear your name and try to evade the police. The gameplay brings the heat of Underground 2, with the wild action from Hot Pursuit. The gameplay handles well, as you customize cars like the Toyota Supra, Mazda RX-7, the speed demon Dodge Viper, and exoticas like the Porsche Carerra, and Lambourghini Miercialgo. The graphics and gameplay here include races like the Circuit, Lap Knockout, and the Speedtrap, where you race as fast you can to see who is driving the fastest while you evade the police. The gameplay here is fierce, and thrives with each skid of the chase.
All in all, if you haven't yet purchased a race game for the Playstation 2, or if you have the desire to buy a PS2 or PS3, than I really recommend this threesome of great racing games that EA has made. The only downside is that I honestly wish the other fourth game from Need For Speed could've been highlighted, Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2. Nevertheless, The Need For Speed Collection is a great buy for anyone who loves to play the thrills for the fast & the furious.

The three games come individually wrapped, The gameplay is great, controls are easy, the cars have excellent feel and handle like the real thing, another nice set of games from the Need for Speed Collection that lead back to the PS1 days. Also who can hold off on the rock bottom Price!

Need For Speed as always brings the worlds bests in their games. All this change when Need For Speed Under Ground 1 came along and gave us the tuning options like never before. My opinion for the best duel between the player and the boss would have to be from UG1 with Most Wanted taking a 2nd while Underground 2 boss will not be worth racing trust me. UG2 takes UG1 level a notch by adding more tunable features and more with upgraded drifts, Street X's. Great game until the end against the boss a 20 second win over a boss is not what I called fun. Most Wanted is a great game to played espically they brought back the super cars from Hot Pursuit 2 along with some new cars. The chases are great specially at heat 5 when everything gets worst. Overall the game is great for the chases trust me I perferred this game better than NFS Carbon which was a let down. These games are worth it I would like to see anyone else with a bounty of 800,000,000 in Most Wanted to this day.

I bought this for my husband. So far, he has only played 1 of the games, "Most Wanted" and he is completely addicted! He will sit there for hours on end playing it! I would recommend it (unless you want some quality time with your man!) LOL!! :)

This pack is very convenient, cheap and excelent. The 3 games are fun. Good graphics and excelent music. In NFS Most Wanted it is possible that you experience some pauses or detentions due to the fact that the console PS2 is not capable of showing adequately some sequences. This problems are very anoing

Very fun game. First one can be a pain because of the many things that can ruin your run completely. But otherwise a good set to add to your collection.
