Super Circuit...Super Game!

For nearly two years I have been anticipating this game from the first word of it when news of the GBA came out to now. And it's finaly mine. Start your engines and get ready for a wild ride.

Gameplay-5.0- perfect, flawless, amazing...what more can i say?The gameplay is just great. It is so fun and entertaining that you will fing yourself adicted for hours. It's great.

Graphics- 4.8- Okay so it's not N64! But considering that these graphics are coming from a handheld they will impress anyone!

Sound- 4.8- The sound effects in this game are great, every character has distinct catch phrases and voices that won't annoy you because they are not played to much. The music isn't great but it is still good enough to make you happy and wistle the tune later on.

Replay- 5.0- This game is so addicting and there are so many features in it that you'll no doubt want to play it over and over and over...ehem...anyway.

Originalty- 5.0- Mario started it all. You'll see "kart" racing games every where but the idea really came from the original "Super Mario Kart" on the "Super Nintendo Entertainment System" (Snes). It has always been the best from the Snes to the Nintendo 64 and finaly to the Game boy advance.

Get the game it will make you very happy I PROMISE! Mario Kart Super Circuit has got to be one of the best GBA games so far.

The Mario Kart series has always been popular everywhere. The first one was a break through using what I think is called mode-7 graphics and was very nice, while combining addictive gameplay and great control to create one of the greatest, and most fun racing games ever made. And the first one also had it's fair share of fun multi-player modes such as battle,GP,and one against one.The battle mode was just so fun and addicting that it used to make me get not-so-decent grades in early elementary school because of my lack of studying while I was playing the game.

The second one started where the first one left off. I believe the second one was very fun for about one month, then i realized how easy it was even in 150CC(the highest difficulty class). The computer AI is not as sharp as it was in the first one and was very easy to beat. The multi-player also stunk, mainly because the battle courses were either to big or too small and it left you taking about five minutes just to find some body in the arena. Although the game sold very well, that did not make up for the lack of depth and challenge in the game.

now we get to the third game in the series. I had been looking at this game carefully because it looked more like the first one rather then the second one, which was a good thing. Now I have finally played it,and it sure was worth the wait. The thing I noticed is that all the tracks in the game are all original and do not really copy anything from the two previous games before it.The tracks are all fun and get better as you go along in the game. One of the most unique features in this game is that all the tracks from the first game are in this game(you must unlock them),which means this game is almost two games in one, sort of.The multi-player in the game is better then the first one, mainly because you can play against four other players, and now you have the screen all to your self(in the first one,the screen was always split),which means it is alot easier to see. There is only one battle course that is not new and is from the first one,and was probably the best one in the first one.The game uses a one-cartridge support which means you can play multi-player with four people, using only one cartridge, but this isn't as good as it sounds, but i'll get back to it.The computer AI is also very hard in this game.Enemies can throw green turtle shells with perfect aim, they always use lightning, and red or blue spiked turtle shells whenever they can, which is very fun because in the second one the computer never used anything besides a super star(which never did anyting to help them, and maybe if u get lucky, they would use some lightning(which still did not do very much to help themselves). All I am trying to say is that this is the best Mario Kart game in the series.

Now on to the complaints(which are minor). The first thing is why do they still replace Koopa Troopa with Wario. I mean,Koopa was the best player in the first game, but in the second one they replaced him with a heavy-weight,which screwed up how the characters were put into groups. In the first one, there was two of every weight class(light-weights,middle-light-wwights,middle-weights,and heavy weights),then the second one screwed it up because I guess nintendo thought that Koopa wasn't popular(which he actually was in the game),and replaced him with a character I have never liked. The second thing I dislike is that the one cartridge support isn't all what it seems.Having only one cartridge means you only have four tracks to play in GP,no battle mode, and you can only race as different colored Yoshi's.My best advice,is to wait until all your friends have cartridges so you can enjoy it to the fullest, because having all the cartridges means that you have all 40 tracks, battle mode, and all the characters to play with.

Well,I must say I have been having alot of fun with this game and I consider it one of the best racing games out there and probably the best game for the GBA.

Very Impressive Game!!!

This game has to be played to be understood. It has great graphics, tons of tracks and obstacles, and hours of play time. This is the must have for the GBA by far.
God bless the families of the terrorist attack

I used to think Tony Hawk 2 was the best game for the GBA. Not anymore...not since I bought this game! The graphics are just simply incredible. It looks much better than the SNES version. And it has a BUNCH of levels. My favorite one is the sky garden. And for those people who say GBA is hard to see, this game is BRIGHT! You can see it much better than most games out for this little handheld. Of course, visuals are not everything. The fun is also good. The controls are easy to learn, and it's not too hard for it to be impossible. The sound is very well done also. This game is truely the best out of the 3. It takes the levels, and coin system from Super Mario Kart, and takes the 3D shells and weapons and mixes them together. And of course, you get the battle games! One of the reasons I like it so much is because it's not in split screen. The only thing I don't like about this game is that there isn't an option where you can play against the computer in battle mode, not many of my firends have this game yet.

Mario Kart is a must buy

Great game, excellent options, good characters to choose from, and amazing graphics, sound could have been better, but if you dont like turn it off. Steering is tough at first, but becomes as easy as anything after a couple of hours practice. Cool itmes during raceplay, its still got the classic purple spiked shell!!! Incredible amount of tracks to choose from, including the classic SNES tracks which always seem the best. BUY this game, keeps you enthrilled for long road trips, and any other long peroids of time.

ONE OF THE BEST ! ! !

Incredible. I rarely make a review about a video game, I mostly review C.D.s and DVDs, but this game is so worth it ! I never get enough of it. The perfect game for me has to be difficult, smart, long, fun and one that can be played anytime by anybody. Preferably with link cable. I think this one is one of them. Other games like that are SUPER MARIO WORLD, LEGEND OF ZELDA: CLASSIC NES SERIES, DONKEY KONG COUNTRY 2, SUPER MARIO ADVANCE, MARIO BROS: CLASSIC NES SERIES, etc, I own 11 GBA video games and I guess this one is the hardest. I have this game about two and a half years. I STILL CAN'T FINISH IT ! But it's alright. That's what I love about this game. I also realize you can exchange GHOSTS...COOL ! ! ! It makes this game even more perfect. Buy this game along with the other ones I listed above.
THIS GAME IS PERFECT FOR ANY PLAYER ! ! ! ! !

EXCELLENT GRAPHICS - HOURS OF FUN

This game is very very good. I usually don't write reviews but I felt that this game deservces it. The racetracks are so well designed. They actually appear 3D and the color is so crisp. This game is very fun. You can play it for hours or just pick it up for five minutes while waiting for someone.

Over 20 different racetracks with realistic backgrounds and unique gameplay for each. The characters are also fun to play with. They are very detailed and even though the GBA screen is small you can see the expressions on the faces of the racers such as Mario, Wario, Donkey Kong, Luigi and a few more.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS. I DIDNT HAVE IT ON MY LIST BUT SOMEONE GOT IT FOR ME AND IM GLAD THEY DID. IT IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.
