how gba games are supposed 2 be

an excellent megaman game and an excellent sequel to the first. the game basically looks the same as the first, apart from the menu(start) screen that has a jazzy new look.
the great and bad thing about this game though is that it is HARD, though i'm not complaining as GBA games are too simple.
there are cyber elves to help you as in the first game and also new suits which adds an edge to the game
beginners might want to go with a simpler game but great gamers and lovers 4 megaman have to add this to their collection. now all u have to wait 4 is number 3 which will be here soon asa it is already out in japan

Mega Man Zero 2 Underrated

Looking at the reviews this game has gotten, I've realized that this game is highly underrated. This is a very good game that happens to be more difficult than most. For those had problems in the first level, this really isn't your game. This game and Mega Man Zero gave me hours of fun, some frustration, but it was easily worth the money I spent. Don't buy this game if you're looking for an easy side scroller that won't take much of your time. But if you're looking for a fun game that might be difficult for the average player, then this is your game.

Delicious! More Please!

Mega Man Zero 2 sticks mostly to the formula the original had but improves on it in subtle ways. The spear has been replaced by a grappling hook that functions similarly but allows you to hook and swing to places you couldn't reach before. In addition to powering up your weapons over time and the elemental chips, you can now obtain what are known as EX skills and Forms. EX skills are special abilities stolen from the boss characters throughout the game, though you'll only steal an ability if your rating is an A or better. This means that you'll likely not capture many of the EX skills the first time through the game, though they really aren't needed much to finish it and are more a reward to players willing to work hard for the A rating. The Forms on the other hand, are highly useful and are unlocked by performing certain feats within a level, such as killing 20 enemies with a jumping slash, or collecting 20 life capsules. These additions allow you to customize Zero's fighting style in numerous ways and add a lot of replayability to the game.

The cyber-elf system is much better this time around. While it hasn't changed dramatically, the amount of energy crystals you need to feed some of the elves has been thankfully reduced and a few new, very useful elves have been added to the list, such as an elf that boosts your rating to A in case your performance slips up a bit.

The game is just about as hard as the original (perhaps harder) though it's not as hard as it seems. The trick, like in most mega man games, is figuring out your opponents patterns and reacting quickly. Many of the boss characters are weak to attacks from one of the elemental chips too, so dodging and using charged attacks makes short work of most of the bosses. Once you're used to the controls and have a feel for the enemies, the game can get rather easy.

All and all, a delicious action game that serves as a model for action titles on the GBA.

This 2nd game is very cool, yet difficult. In the beginning, you MUST train your weapons to get stronger, and if you pass the game, you must once again train your weapons. But overall, the game is very cool.

Great Game!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow this is a great game but not what I thought it would be like. Ok so its really really fun but its alot eazyer then the first mmz. Some of you people are probably saying right now what are you talking about it was hard!!!!!!! but really mmz1 was harder than mmz2. I hope they make a mmz3 because at the end of mmz2 when you beat it shows you a sound only box saying something but I for got since its been so long since I beat it. even though it was eazyer this was alot funer than mmz because of now armor and other stuff. THIS IS A MUST BUY GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MMZ2 is great can't wait till MMZ3 comes out

The game is more difficult than the 1st but it give a lot more info on whats been happening in the world of mega man and I know there has to be a part three since at the end someone was talking about Omega X retruning and it seems that the Dark Elf and Zero know each other so more info will come when MMZ3 comes out hopefully

Cool music and okay graphics do not hide the fact that gameplay is poor and there are multiple bosses per stage. The controls are also poor and the gameplay itself is repetitive and frustrating. I would not expect the average audience (Or me) to ever get past the first level.

SO..............FRUSTERATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, this game has nice graphics, and cool music, but if you dont like hard games, you might not want to buy.The concept is good, the gameplay is good, and control is normal.Ya youll be slashing, or shooting, and think its the best game, like I did, once you get to the scorpion boss thing, ohhh boy,Yuo go through so much and hurt your thumb, youll stop for awhile. The game is ok, but not great.

MMZ2 is one of the best GBA games I've ever played! BUT, for those people that said it was hard... Never played MM&B! (Mega Man & Bass) Any ways. MMZ2 is so cool with the new changes and styles with Zero's armor! This game is the bomb.

Great Game!

I own Megaman Blue Version and I would say that Megaman Zero 2 is the best so far. It has been an easy game to follow. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone!
