For all of those people who are frightened of the new FPS Metroid Prime (a game I also highly recommend), this is the game few you. The great feel of the earlier games is held while taking several steps forward. To begin with, the story...there actually is one! Unlike the other games in the series, events unfold as you go through the game. And for the first time, there is a *reason* that samus has no special abilities at the start of the game! The gameplay has also been improved. Finally, Samus can grab onto ledges and roll into tight spaces from this position. Gone, however, is the multiple bomb blast jump. Also, for those who liked to skip ahead, the game is surprisingly linear. The awesome new bosses, the new "X factor" of the X virus absorbtion, and the great graphics, even for a portable system, more than make up for this, though. This is a great game for everyone.

This game is AWESOME! this is my first metroid game, besides metroid prime (which is a must buy if u have a GC). this game has tons of cool power-ups, tough and challenging puzzles, great looking bosses, a creative plot, extras to unlock if u have Metroid Prime for GC, and evil parasites that infect Samus and clone her Power Suit. BUY THIS GAME!!!

Metroid Fusion is the fourth game in the Metroid series (not including Metroid Prime). Metroid Fusion is very similar to Super Metroid on the Super Nintendo. The gameplay is almost identical although the storys are completely different. The presentation of this game is very good. I was surprised with the graphics and sound quality of the game. The music in Metroid Fusion really sets the mood of the game at any certain time. If a tense moment is happening, it will be accompanied by a musical score that adds a lot intensity to that moment. The game takes place in a bio-reasearch lab. The main area of the game is split up into 6 sectors. Each of them being a different kind of climate. All of the different sectors have distinct features and graphical designs. The backgrounds and foregrounds of every area are superbly made. The design of the sectors make you really feel like you are in a frozen area or above a pit of lava. Throughout the game you will have to traverse back and forth to each of the sectors to complete various objectives that are given to you by a computer who you link up with in certain rooms. The quest is much more linear than before. I never found myself lost or stuck in a particular area because I always had the computer tell me where I needed to go or what I needed to do. Even though the graphics, sound, and gameplay are superior to most GameBoy Advance games, the quest is very short. I found my self completing the game in 4 hours my first time through. Thankfully though, the game has a lot of replay value because it's so fast paced and exciting. There is also an added bonus to buying this game if you have a GameCube. If you link this game to the GameCube when playing Metroid Prime, you can unlock a playable version of the original Metroid for the NES. Even if your not a fan of the series, this game is definately worth getting.

I can't say enough about this game. It happens to be my first GBA game and I tell you this, its the coolest Metroid game to date, other that Metroid Prime of course. It had an extremely odd storyline, and I was a little saddened at the destruction of Samus's 'cruisemobile', but hey, I didn't write the game, I only played it. This is a definate must buy for any metroid fan, new and old. Its a bit difficult to progress right at the beginning, but its well worth the 30$.

Probably One Of The Best GBA Games Out There!

I played the original Super Metroid for the SNES and I have to say it wasn't all that great. A pretty hard difficulty level, no specific target on your map, few chances to reload, etc. made it probably not the greatest Metroid game ever. However with Metroid 4 (Metroid Fusion), the game is a lot easier, the target is displayed on your map, and you get several chances to reload. Plus, you get all the cool action of Metroid games, ultra-suspenseful moments (will your evil clone notice you in the corner?) and a riveting storyline, you simply must get this game. 5 stars, and more if I could!

WOW!another great game from nintendo

wow!metroid advance whoed have thought!
this game differs slightly from the SNES{which I also thought was great}there some new moves such as:jump ball {verry usefull},
ice bombs, wall jumps are easyer, and you can hold cliffs.

10 is highest score

sound:9 true the sound is great it isn't as good as SNES

graphics:10 graphics are great for GBA.kind of like JEDI POWER BATTLES

gameplay:10 great.calenging.yet somewhat easy.it guids you through the game but without the players guid it is hard to get all the tanks

overall:a big fat 10! this in my opinion is one of the best games for GBA.............A little secret, there are 5 different endings to this game it all depends on how quick you beat it and how many tanks you get

thank you for youre time and patience
