I thoroughly enjoy the different aspects of this game. Exploring the map to trade between players or trying to turn your colony to the next best thing. Excellent game

I love this Golden Edition to the game.. I have been playing 1701 right after it came on the US market. It is fun

You can spend over two hours playing this game without realizing it!
I would have liked to have been able to create islands from scratch in the world editor but the ability to create your own worlds adds another dimension to this game. Great game!
