My daughter will be 6 in January and she is a wiz on her gameboy advance. This is one of her favorite games. I am a gamer from way back and often I run into areas I don't know what to do and have to ask her for help. She loves it when she can say, "Here let me do it for you."

Ok, i first played this game during a Chinese New Year Banquet which was amazing... I love peking Duck...... And those Crab balls... hmmmmm. Anyway my friend lent it to me during a boring speech about ma and horses and mama mia, obviously he was kind of tipsy... nobody was really listeningSo i asked my friend for the game. He lent it to me and when i started i was amazed by the graphics!! that guy was still talking... But the game was very confusing... Still talking.... Oh look Pork pause game... hmmm good... anyways I got pretty disoriented in the first level unlike i did with Super Mario advance 2. Guy still talking... Now brought in a painting of horses. The game was bad... The reason i gave it 3 stars and not 1 was 'cause it made time pass pretty quickly. Oh good noodles hmmmm... Now the guy shut-up. Can i borrow Super Mario Adv. 2? Thanks. This Mario game kicks ... Oh look tea... bye have to go now need to drink tea...

GoodBye

This game is okay since you get to be wario and the various levels are fun. I suggest you rent it.

i bought this game because i collect mario games . It wasn't really what i expected, but proved to be a fungame. Some parts of the game are kinda confusing, but you get through them. If you like classic mario games, this isn't one for you. If you like sidescrolling, wario, sorta puzzle games, this game is great. The bosses are pretty unique and some are pretty hard to beat. Over all, a fun wario game.

Good but not great

This game has great graphics and gameplay but once you beat it it gets really boring. The mini games are: Home run Derby, Wario Hop, and Wario's rouette they're o.k. The music is pretty good but could be a lot better if there were more levels.

Wario Land 4

The widely popular Wario Land series makes its 4th installment on the GameBoy Advance. This time around, our greedy 2-D friend is inside of a golden pyramid that supposedly holds a wealth of untold treasure. The gameplay is similar to past Wario games, & this time around Wario is no longer invicible, meaning you'll half to be a bit more careful while looking for gold. & the bright, colorful graphics show up much nicer on the GBA's screen then the past Wario Land 3 for GBC did. & last but not least, you can take a break from stealing & play mini games to earn extra coins. Bottom line: This one should be one to look forward to.

Great game - great replay value, just too easy

I loved Wario Land for Game Boy, so this was the first game I went out and bought when I got the GBA. I must say I was impressed with the graphics, they were clear and detailed. Wario can be fat, puff up like a balloon (due to an allergic reaction from a bee sting), catch on fire, turn into a snowball and more. There are many secrets to be found in every level, that is always a bonus. 4 jewel pieces must be found in each board before you can confront the boss. Collecting all of the CDs is quite difficult (there is one for each board), and they really don't seem to serve any purpose, but I haven't found all of them yet. The story line is pretty typical, but with a few surprises once you get to the end of the game. My only complaint is that the game is fairly easy.
There is a shop owned by a little wavy guy that you pass right before each boss - my advice, don't buy anything from him if you want the game to be more challenging. You play games and earn coins to purchase things from the shop, and then the guy follows you into the boss's chamber and hits him with whatever you bought (there are various item to choose from, the more expensive it is the more damage it does) before you confront him. The problem? Some of the items do so much damage you only have to hit the boss once or twice to beat him. Great if you want all the treasure, which disappears as the clock winds down while you're fighting the boss. But even the final boss can be beaten easily if an extra item is purchased. But like I said before there are many secrets in this game, and many items to collect, which makes it fun to play even after you've beaten the game - you can go back to your beaten game's levels and explore them further.
A bit childish, somewhat easy, but hey - I had fun playing it, and that's the point, right? So I give this game 4 stars.
