Excellent!! Nintendo...Redefining the Videogame

Though they have always been committed to the philosophy of constantly redefining the videogame experience, from the early days of the Power Glove to the recently released Nintendo DS, Nintendo has always tried to reinvent video gaming whenever possible. Warioware: Twisted represents another example of Nintendo's innovative mind at its best. I just bought the game yesterday and I can honestly say it delivers on is game packaging promise "It's easy to pick up but hard to put down". Just like Twisted's predecessor WarioWare Microgames, Twisted presents the player with a rapid fire barrage of mini-games but this time with a new "twist" (pun intended). Instead of using the gameboy's directional pad to control motion you now turn the gameboy itself much as you would a steering wheel to play most of the games. As "gimmicky" as this may sound, Twisted (furnished with a gyro-motion sensor) executes this feature flawlessly and makes the game ridiculously fun!! Expect the same crazy characters from the original but the graphics have improved to take advantage of GBA's capabilities. If you liked the original WarioWare or are interested at all in a new experience on your aging GBA, check this one out!! You won't regret it.

Wow

I am a VERY, VERY casual gamer.
I usually never beat a game before trading it in for another, in fact just yesterday I traded in a few old XBox games for this jewel. I put it in a few moments later and havn't stopped playing yet! I already beat it and am working on getting all souveneirs. This twirky and truly innovative game is the best handheld game I've played since Super Mario Advance...(I am a Mario NUT)
Also I've played it for the DS in the store and spent litterally 3 hours playing! Buy this game.

A game to make people stare at you.

I've just been able to put down the game after 4 hours of playing with only a break for dinner. This game is insanely fun, offering a better challenge than the original WarioWare game. There is a tougher learning curve, until you get the feel of the sensor and know how much to twist the game. There are also a couple of slight problems with centering the sensor: while it recenters for every microgame, this requires you to remember to hold the Game Boy properly (not difficult at all). It also can be misaligned in the middle of a micro game if you make large twists, but these don't require much adjustment on the player's part either.
There are plenty of unlockables to find, and many of those are junk (how many kaleidoscopes do you neeed, anyway?), but there are also a few amusing ones, mostly the marathon versions of the microgames.
Regular GBA users will have a slight advantage over SP or DS players, as a few games will require that you turn the system completely around; this is also not a big deal.

Better than Kirby Tilt and Tumble!

When I was 17, I got a game for Christmas called Kirby Tilt and Tumble. It was a Game Boy Color game, but I had a GBA at the time. It was pretty awkward to play the game...

Then a year later I became a Wario Ware fan, and own almost every Wario Ware game known to man, and almost own a DS and Wario Ware Touched. I waited a long time to get this game, and now I finally have it! I really enjoy how you can turn the GBA around and not use the buttons, although on Kat and Ana's stage, you don't have to turn the GBA around, but you do have to hit the A button. But for some games, you have to turn the GBA around and use the buttons. Nonetheless, I really enjoy Wario Ware Twisted. NOTE: Don't play this game in the car, because the pak will detect vibrations!

if you like mega micro mini games you'll love twisted

THIS GAME LIKE THE LAST IS INSANLY ADDICTIVE! THOUGH THE TWISTING PART TAKES AWHILE TO GET USED TO I BELIVE THIS IS THE BEST GBA GAME THAT'S CAME OUT. IT'S PRETTY HARD TO PROGRESS THOUGH THE LEVELS NOW. LIKE ON THE FIRST ONE I GET UP IN TO LEVEL 80 BUT NOW I CAN'T GET UP TO LEVEL 30. I'M GLAD THEY DID THAT, BECAUSE IT PUTS MORE REPLAY VALUE ON IT. THE EXTRA UNLOCKABLES ARE GREAT. THERE ARE MANY NEW GAMES TO UNLOCK AND OTHER STUPID THINGS LIKE A YOGA MAN WHO KISSES HIS OWN BUTT (UNLOCK THE YOGA MAN AND YOU'LL SEE WHAT I MEAN) OVERALL THIS IS WORTH ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY(AS LONG AS IT'S UNDER $40) BUY IT NOW!!

Great Fun, but drains the battery.

This is a great follow up to the the Microgames. You may even get a bit dizzy on some of the games as they require you to turn your GBA in circles! This cartridge also has a rumble pack in it which really adds to the tilt feature giving you feedback when you tilt it, the downfall of the rumble pack though is that it will drain your battery quicker. I played it for about 2.5 hours on and off the 1st day I bought it and my GBA SP already needs a recharge. All and all a must have in your library.

EDIT: Battery life is not as bad as I 1st noted. Perhaps I just over did the tilting my 1st day trying out the rumble pack. I have been playing it on and off for 4 days and my battery life is still in the green.

Buy it now!

Well, I baught this game 2 days after it came out because I loved the first game for Gameboy Advance. If your thinking about buying this game, BUY IT! Best game i've ever played. Forget the graphics, its hours and hours of fun. I have the old one and ever since I got Twisted, i kept playing it on and off. If your affraid about the amount of spinning, its not so bad. Only a couple games u have to spin your gameboy all around, but over all it has great gameplay. Also, the games are not just spinning your GBA, it consists of spin, spin+A, and just A games. I enjoy the fact that there are more "games" in Twisted ("Games meaning things like paper airplane (not in twisted)). There are even random things such as pianos that you can play, and figures you can move, and records you can listen to, and stuff like that. Not just the spin and the games, theres also a rumble in it. Tons and Tons of fun. Stop debating and get it! Definitely deserves a 5 star.

Twisted is incredibly addictive!

Okay, so I kinda bought this on impulse, without reading any reviews first. I mean, I had seen the DS version "touched" and loved it, but don't have a DS! "Twisted" has the exact same appeal as "Touched", and is just as fun, if not more! No stylus, just turn your gameboy! The gyro sensor is really sensitive, and you hardly push any buttons on this game. It's a perfect game to killl 5-10 minutes...but also pretty hard to put down if you have a lot of time to kill! The challenge doesn't seem to end, because you keep trying to want to beat your own scores, earn more souveneirs, and turn, turn turn! It's the best gameboy game I've come across in a long while. Totally original. I'm addicted. I love the mini-mini-game format. Buy it. You won't be disappointed! =)

This game is alot of fun and is hard to put down. I am a 51 old woman that loves to play gameboy games and I have all the Wario games. Took a little getting use to having to move the gameboy back and forth or in circles but it is a lot of fun.

Twisted sick

This game is addictive! FUNFUNFUN.I'm here to tell some wacked things about this game. First if you play Jimmy DR. Crygor Orbolon and Warioman Long enough you will get Fronk GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These are hyper fast games by fronk. You can tell you get these when the music turns wierd. Play designers over to get new games and soveniers. Play Nine and eighteen volt to get the hilarious MONA PIZZA RECORD.If you beat wario man pay attention to his hysterical cut scene. I'm firing everyone. all in all this is a completley strange and pointless micro game bash. (What fun!)
