Fun for an 8-year-old and his mommy!

4 Rating: 4, Useful: 9 / 10

My son and I got lost in this game for weeks, playing nearly every day, trying to beat it. I'm 31 years old and couldn't stop playing it with my 8 year old every day after school. It's challenging enough that he needed my help for some parts, yet easy enough that he figured most of it out on his own. (One player game)

Great Game!!!!

This game is very challenging, fun, entertaining... you name it.

The levels are beatable, but at the same time they aren't something that you could do with your eyes closed. There are tuturials that tell you how to do specific things throughout the game, so you won't be sitting there trying to figure it out (although it is still very challenging!)

Just because it's rated "E" doesn't mean that it's easy as pie. In some parts, it is harder than some "T" games that I've played. It is something that my little brothers can play but it will keep us teens plenty involved, too.

You get to play as Roddy, Rita (my favorite!!) and the Jammy Dodger. In some parts you switch from one character to the next. Among other things, you get to shoot crayons at enemies from the Jammy Dodger, find your way around town as Roddy, and steal the ruby from the Toad as Rita. It's very fun using each character's specific moves and powers!

The only thing I don't really like is that the voices aren't the same from the movie (and some of them don't even sound alike AT ALL) but I guess you can't have everything, right?

Overall, this game is great and if you like the movie, you have gotta play this game!!!
