This is a Mega Man fan's dream

Mega Man Anniversary Collection contains 10 games from the blue bomber's past. It contains Mega Man 1-6 originaly for the original NES, Mega Man 7 originaly for the Super NES, Mega Man 8 originally for the PlayStation and Sega Saturn, and 2 Mega Man arcade games that were never released in the US before. I am pretty sure all of the games have their original graphics, but they have improved the sound quality.
The disk also contains some extras, some of which are exclusive to the GameCube version of the game and some of which are exclusive to the PS2 version.
If you grew up with these games like I did, this is a must buy. A piece of childhood where graphics were simple and that was just fine with us.

This Game is SOOOO Sweet

This game is awesome, you challenge yourself with some of the most extreme Mega Man titles ever released while unlocking a cache of bonus features in this special collection to celebrate Mega Man's 15th Anniversary. For the first time ever, play the original Mega Man 1 through 8 series and 2 never-before-released in the U.S. arcade games on your Nintendo GameCube, Enjoy!

Finally Capcom has come up with one of their best games ever, and it's not just one game either--it's 10-games-in-1! Not only does the Mega Man Anniversary Collection have the very first 8 original Mega Man hits from NES and Playstation (just #8), it contains 2 additional games that were never ever released in the US. Judging by the reputation of the Mega Man series, those two games are going to be equally-as-great and extremely enjoyable. I recommend this game for anyone who has a video game system compatible to play this game. Also, what a steal at only $29.99 when its going to be first released. It would really not surprise me if this game earns the Game-of-the-Year Award. Don't miss out on some of the greatest video game classics ever. This game is a must-have for all. It will be MEGA FUN!!!

COOL MEGA FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this game! There is no telling what they'll do if they make another one! I'm obsessed with this game! My favorite game is Mega Man 7. I can't wait to beat the game!

Every series should do this...

First off, could you people remember to give the product some stars!?! You're killing its rating by giving it a praising review BUT not giving it any stars! Plus, this is all Capcom's doing, not Nintendo's. When it comes to releasing classics, Nintendo sucks. Just look at the overpriced, one game per cartridge "classic" series for Gameboy Advance. Or the Zelda compilation disc for GameCube that doesn't even have the SuperNES Zelda: A Link To The Past. Plus, you HAD to buy a GameCube to even get it.

As for MegaMan fans, this is a must. These game are better than anything recent from the series. MegaMen 1-6 were on the NES. Megaman 7 was on the SuperNES. MegaMan 8 was on the PlayStation. The other two game are arcade titles. It is worth it just for the 8 original games.

The NES MegaMen will set you back around $10-$20 for each NES cartridge. MegaMan 7 (along with the other SuperNES Megamen X, X2, X3) will set you back anywhere from $20-$100 a piece!!!! This compilation is a godsend form Capcom. Nintendo could learn a few things.

At long last...

I can honestly say that I've dreamed about this day- the day when Capcom finally does right by Megaman and rereleases all of the Blue Bombers adventures for a next-generation console. I have waited nearly ten years, and in but a few short days, my dreams and wishes will come to be. On June 22, 2004, I will own every Megaman game in existence- and then, I can die a happy man. Thank you, Capcom! Thank you! Oh, and all the rest of you- BUY THIS GAME! IT WILL CHANGE YOU!

Finally, The Mega has come back to NGC!!!

Now this what I'm talking about! Not that pathetic MM Network series that's on the GC, but the originals - when gaming was gaming. This is the B-bomber at his best, 8 of the greatest shooter-adventures of all time. Before this compilation, I went out and purchased a NES and MMs 1-5, but now, I can just dish out 30-something $ for 10 great games. Capcom fell out of favor with me when the discontinued the SF series and turned the MM to crap, but now I at least get to relive the glory days and play like its 1995. Kudos, Capcom!

Megaman - Classic

This game includes Megaman 1-8. I haven't played this edition of the game. However, I have played megaman 1-5 before. These games are pure brilliance. All it is, is jumping and shooting, but that's a good thing. You battle your way through a series of levels, and eventually come to a boss at the end of each one. Each boss has his own battle tactics. If you defeat the boss, you get his weapon. You can use these weapons throughout the game, and eventually defeat the final boss. There's just something about these games that make them fun.

At last......

Finally I have a great reason to spend all summer in front of my console playing this amazing collection of games! MegaMan is one of the greatest creations of the video game world, and this set features all of the best moments. The two extra games and all the secret material is great too!
