This game seemed cool as soon as i checked the movies and screenshots, but now it seems almost impossible 2 beat the first level!!! Its been a day long since i rented this game, and i havent even beaten Fireman! Plus they should have translated the language 2 english. You cant go anywhere anyways in the beggining(except the stupid store). I highly recomend you just rent it for awhile. U better b a Mega man fan 2 like it.

This game is a disgrace to the mega man name. It's horrible plain and simple. Ugly, too hard, stupid idea overall. Forget this and get X7 for PS2. much better.

I played this at a friends house and I loved it. It took me a while to get to a good chip but it rocked! I would recommend this game. Even though it is the 3rd 3D megaman game, it is the best of them all. It is almost perfect but it is too easy to miss with the swords but if you get a hit you have a good chance of getting a chip.

the best (and most annoying) game ever!

ok, after reading the other reviws your gonna say this game [is bad]. well your WRONG! Im an extreme gamer and this game's bosses are tough. It takes a while to beat them, so if you buy this game, here's a tip for the first boss. Slide under the fire when it's about to touch you.I'm probably close to beating the game (all that i know is left is the Zero Account and the Undernet), but im probably not. ive beaten about 9 of the bosses, but i really like the game. So get off your butt and go buy the game...

I have been a megaman fan for as long as I can remember and, while this game isn't the best in the series, it definitely earns a spot in one of the best gaming franchises of all time. Network Transmission caters to both old and new fans to the series. Its gameplay is similar to the gameplay of the NES classics while basing the game off of the Gameboy Advance RPG's known as the Battle Network series. It is a great mix of old and new. Veteran fans will recognize bosses names from older games as well. Many have said that this game is too hard. While playing through this game I did notice quite a bit of difficulty, but just in the boss battles. One thing that makes it easier is that you really can't get a gameover ever if your smart. Whenever you get down to your last life you can choose to "jack-out" thus refilling your lives for another go at the level. I guess I would really recommend this game to any megaman fan because there is something in there for you whether you're a hardcore veteran or you're new to the series.

<- IS MY RATING FOR THIS GAME

FIRST OF ALL, THIS MAY SOUND WEIRD BUT I HAVE NEVER PLAYED THIS GAME AND I DON'T THINK I'VE EVER SEEN AN AD FOR IT, BUT I KNOW MORE ABOUT IT THAN THE OTHER REVIEWERS ON "amazon.com". IN THIS GAME, THE TIME FRAME IS 2010(RIIIIGHT) THIS GAME IS A ONE PLAYER ROLE PLAY(MEANING, YOU WILL PLAY AS "LAN" AND NO ONE ELSE.) THIS GAME SHOULD BE PLAYED BY SOMEONE THAT HAS PLAYED THE OTHER MEGAMAN BATTLE NETWORK GAMES. IF YOU HAVE NOT PLAYED ANY OF THE MEGAMAN BATTLE NEWWORK GAMES (LIKE MYSELF) DO NOT WORRY, IF YOU ARE A MEGAMAN FAN THERE IS STILL HOPE. THIS GAME USES A "CHIP SYSTEM" WHILE BATTLING. (MEANING, YOU CAN USE "BATTLE CHIPS" THAT CAN HELP YOU WIN. AND SPEAKING OF BATTLING YOU MAY FINE THAT FIGHTING AN ENEMY IS VERY HARD AND THAT YOU HAVE TO KICK THEM PUNCH THEM AND SLASH AT THEM ENDLESSLY WITHOUT MERCY TILL THEY LOSE. (WHICH SUITS MY FIGHTING STYLE JUST FINE.) LASTLY, THIS GAME MAY TAKE UP A MAXIMUM OF 6 BLOCKS OF MEMORY CARD SPACE. P.S. THE PICTURE IS GOOD BUT IT CAN SEEM 2-D AT TIMES (NAMELY, WHILE BATTLING)

A Great game, huh. (Ha ha Higsby)

I have played and beaten all three Battle Networks. They were great with an awsome, easy to pick up battle system, chips, a great story and full customization of MegaMan. Transmission is different though. Fans of the original sidescrollin' MegaMan will be able to relate to the left to right get-to-the-end-of-the-screen kind of thing. While Battle Network fans will lap up the story, characters etc. To be a true fan of this game you must love sidescrolling and RPg's. I LOVE battle network because it has all the great aspects of an RPG. Transmission is just strange. I miss controlling Lan and have to read sub-titles from Japanise dialog. Overall I liked this game and if it is hard then big whoop. Thats the point of a video game dummy.

viva la megaman!

ok this game is really good. Its has great graphics and the chip system is pretty cool. But this game is also very very challenging. Like, if you run out of lives you have to start so far back its not even funny. Also just to let you know the Zero virus is just a new and improved Quikman from the old Megaman games. So i reccomend renting the game before buying it.

annoying..............and frustrating, rpg was bad way to go!

the first level is next to impossible to beat and they keep starting you at the beginning of the level if you do not beat fireman.........plus the rpg part of the game thay should have definately left out............i do not know why they always try and change the style of the old games they should just leave them the way they are and just improove the graphics...........definately rent the game first because chances are you are going to hate it
