The best Prince of Persia as far as gameplay's concerned.

If you can look past the Godsmack soundtrack, the dark Gothic new environments/characters, the Prince's too-much-anger syndrome, and all the other physical, outward, superficial stuff that most people have been complaining about, then you will find the best Prince of Persia GAME... better than both the first and third ones.

It takes the puzzle-solving levels of the first one and ups the challenge and difficulty, as well as adding in events like being chased by Death in order to make you have to move more nimbly and be quicker on your toes. Not only are the levels and puzzles better and more detailed though, but the combat portions are now just as good as the puzzles are, which was the first game's major drawback. It is slightly more complicated because of this, but once you get the hang of it you find a great game for both its action and thinking sequences.

By the third game, the franchise had just worn itself out. I'd say stick with this one as well as the first one, but never get the third one, which brings nothing new the Prince of Persia table.

Not perfect, But close to.

Now this is just my opinion but all free range hand-to-hand combat games are freaking awsome. Even if they dont have perfect grafics or any first person shooting capabilities. The grafics are obviously better than the first POP and the story is a bit better. Except the fact that the Dahaka kind of just came out of nowere and started attacking the prince. But overall this is a great free roaming/hand-2-hand fighting game. The controls are pretty easy to get used to and the game play is much easier and more challenging at the same time that The Sands of Time. Which consisted of fighting enemies as if they were boss battles. Plus the ability to control time makes you feel like god and be unstopable. The mazes are out of control and are amazing with the wall run/rope swing/ledge grab and jump ability. Good game.

This action game is Awesome

This game just can't describe. Not just the fun and graphics. The history and difficult of this game makes it really entertainment and exciting to play.

Language and Half Naked Women

Ok, short and sweet. I love the POP series but this game, well, falls short. The language and the half naked ladies are not necessary. The game was pretty easy and the puzzles were a little challenging until I got to this one spot. No matter how hard I try (and I've tried) I can't get passed it. I even had my daughter try (she has gotten me out of some tough spots) but she couldn't do it. I have to save this lady who is hanging over the edge of a cliff while this other (half naked) lady steps on her fingers causing her to fall. I got so frustrated that I had to put the game away for a while. I will try again and hopefully get through to the end.
