Beautiful graphics....but....

First things first, with the capabilities of the GC, this is the best-looking Turok game, beating out my previous favorite, Turok 2 for the N64.

But....I *SO* wish I could have used the N64 controller to play this game....the control is so FRUSTRATING because the C-stick isn't where the C-buttons on the N64 controller are/is....and even then I don't think there would be hope in the control department....
I'm almost tempted to get used to one of the other control schemes....which is next to impossible for someone like myself so used to the N64 Turok control configuration- *screams*
How nasty is the control? I had to use my right middle finger to shoot with R, and then my right index finger to jump with Y....cuz my right thumb is so busy with the C-stick moving Mr. Turok around....it takes GREAT skill to even be able to jump FORWARD! *screams again*

I prefer Turok 2's neverending levels and scarce save points over horrid control any day. Actually, in essence, the control ain't any different from Turok 2, just the placement of the C-stick screws everything up!

Not to mention, like most others have said, the load times suck.

But even with all this hell....I still like to play the game....it is, by far, the most challenging Turok EVER....

Overall it gets 6 out of 10....I still love Turok 2 as my all-time favorite Turok game.

Good Potential...BUY (maybe)

For PS2 or XBOX I'd give this game about 3 STARS (3.7 Stars on a REAL 1 to 5 scale) The main thing is that on XBOX and PS2 you can choose the control button configuration that you prefer to use or are good at using. On Gamecube you are stuck at using the one they give you or you can just reverse the way they give you. But the game with that exception is a 3.7 stars. I suggest buy it for XBOX. Or maybe PS2. But if you can't get an XBOX than if you can live with the controls it's worth BUYING, IF you don't have any better First Person Shooter games. If you do have some other shooter games that are as good as Halo or even on that level I say rent it and then decide for yourself if you got to have it or if renting it will do it for you.

This is a kool game about a guy who hunts for dinos. You get to be first person and get the best arsenal of weapons like boows, guns, and even a flying DEVICE talk about cool!! THIS IS A *MU$T HAVE GAME*

I saw a movie on it at the E3 and know it will blow the sox of res. evil or etenal DARK>

What did dinosaurs ever do to us? Nothing! How can it be fun killing animalls that never did anything to anyone?!?

This game gets extremely difficult but all the while fun. If you're into gore then you'll love it. If you're not, well you will still like the multiplayer and the weapons which are fun to mess with. You will also be surprised with how smart the enemies are. This game is not a fifty dollar game but I would pay $29.99 for it. I give it 3 stars. I like this game!

dont know acclaim has not released it to gamecube yet but it has given first choice to play station and x box i guess i just have to wait until acclaim decide to let nintendo have the game it was supposed to be for.

This is a great FPS game! Insane weapons and very expansive levels can be found within this game. it's true that the cntrol system is odd, but it's easy to pick up on, unless your a bit slow on the uptake. The overall graphics arent that great, but the blood effects are so awesome, and two or three cutscenes have insane graphics. But seriously, this game has the best blood effects that i have ever seen. I would, however, give this a four and a half stars if i could, because i dont like the fact that the bodies and blood fade away. but, i'm nice and i round my ratings up. If your an FPS fan, you'll know what FPS means, and you'll get this game

buy this if you wish....

This game is good... good graphics and good game-play, buy the controls are horrible, (they can't be changed), and there are not that many things to kill. (Only like 3 or 4 things to kill per level. sometimes more, sometimes not.)

Torok:Evolution The second best

This is one of my favorite Torok games. It has really good effects & graphics. The only thing is if you get the cheats for it, they are O.K. at first but after a while they seem to ruin the game. The multiplayer is fun if you have a little brother who keeps begging to play.
