Here is the reason why I sold this game only after a week of owning it. Yes the graphics are awesome, yes the player movement is so fluent and realistic. And now for the bad. First off I was dissapointed about having no narration during a match, same as last year but now I found that unnaceptable, I know I know who cares about some guy repeating the plays over and over, I do. And it should be an option not an omission. Next, when there is a lot of action in the box, no matter what camera angle you choose, the action slows down almost to a halt, this happens everytime and so frustating when your player and everyone else move in slow motion for 2 - 3 seconds, unnaceptable. And last, although they refined the player moves, tricks and passes the AI seems to be too dumbed down, for instance when the opposite player has the ball and sprinting with it towards your goal area, it stops for no reason and starts walking with the ball towards the goal area, when it could have easily taken a shot at distance or when in the box. These are my reasons, I gave FIFA 2007 a try, I am overall more content.

PS. I own Winning Eleven 10 for the PS2, hands down the BEST game of soccer for the PS2, none of the above complaints are an issue.

AWESOME

The title says it all. This is a great soccer game again. This is easily the best soccer game on the market. It amazes how each year additions can be made to the games that actually would make you want to buy the game again aside from roster changes. Yet THis is one of those games that necessetates getting the game again. Aside from killer graphics (the best you will see in a soccer game), you now have the ability to do three different types of kicks when trying to score a goal. That is incredible!!!!! Bottom Line: Do you like soccer at all? Own this brilliant, fun game.

1.- PES 2007 is bettet than Fifa in Gameplay
2.- PES does have the official number and letter designs of the licensed team
3.- PES players are not mechanical and slow as the Fifa players.
4.- Fifa has a better career mode, PES is very simple and has less decision making.
5.- Fifa has a bit better graphics, both are good thou.
6.- They both lack more national teams.
7.- Menu interaction easier on PES, unlike FIFA you don't get asked if you wanna save or not in every window.

I like gameplay over everything. So I like this one better.

Awesome!!!

First of all, at C. Novoa "Bacilon". what do you mean about the commentary? because commentary is there, both in English and Spanish, I think FIFA 07 only has English, not sure about that though. Also you should check your game, because mine hasn't halted not even once no matter how many players there were in the box.

Now for the review:

***GRAPHICS***
Basically the same as WE9, but it's the best they could do for a PS2 game.

***GAMEPLAY***
As always, awesome. The new animations feel very natural and makes you feel like you're really playing a soccer game, unlike FIFA.

***SOUND***
As i already stated it has both English and Spanish commentary, even though it gets repetitive after playing for a while. The menu music as always sucks, KONAMI should seriously start thinking getting some licensed music in the WE series. The in-game sounds are OK, although they could have been better, they should add some licensed background chants from the crowd.

***PRESENTATION***
The main let down of the WE series has always been licensing. Even though they got some new licenses for this game, like the French Ligue 1, Manchester United, other 4 European teams and 9 National teams, they still lack EPL licensing and also had to take out the German Bundesliga, now it's not at all in the game, not even unlicensed.

***OVERALL***
An amazing game, with some minor let downs that in no way prevent you from enjoying the superior gameplay the WE series has always offered.
