I cant believe it
A computer game and the soldiars who kill and torture people appear as angels.
Also they fire at the mosques and destroy whole cities and after all they want to be heros.
What is going on. These games companies dont see but money. no respect for Iraqi's feeling.
What do you think if I make a computer game that shows American as targets and murderer. What do u think if game environment is London or Paris.
It seems like the word justice has died in the west and for ever

Finally, a true combat simulator

This game is the real thing. If you want Halo in cammies, this isn't it. But this is as close to true combat as any game has ever come.

The graphics are superb, the sound and music are first rate and the game play is unbelievable. Even the radio communications are true to Army doctrine. I am consistently laughing at ignorant gaming companies that obviously received their views of the military from Hollywood. Not these guys. They know their stuff. Great game.

If you like the Tom Clancy games, this one trumps all of them.

There is only one negative - the fire teams sometimes do not react to commands as quickly as I would like. But other than that, this game is wonderful. Just don't expect a first person shooter and you'll love it.

Pretty but NO replay

The graphics in this game are amazing but the game play just doesn't get me involved as much as i would like. I enjoy all types of games but honestly, both Splinter Cell's had my heart beating with excitment. I can't really say that much for this game. In order for me to give a high rating the game actually has to make me wanna go back and play it. But again, i can't say that for this game. I'm impressed with all the detail the developer went into to make this game so real. I found controlling two teams was a little more difficult and it doesn't really make it seem as though you are a member of a certain team because you have to switch back and forth between the two. I haven't played it on Xbox Live but if you're able to control one team then that might make a difference.

Good game, but not great.

I bought this game thinking it would a great game from the reviews I saw in this section. Not true. First, it's way too short. I bought it Thurday and was finished Sunday, and that's playing it about an hour a day. The controls are easy to pick up and the graphics are great. That's about where the good things end. There aren't enough enemies, you're squad members' accuracy is terrible, the missions are easy, and the commands the team leaders use are so repetitive. I must've heard "Listen up Bravo!" 300 times. If you are a hardcore war game fan, you might want to get this game. If you're looking for a great game to hold you over until Halo 2 comes out, pick up Chronicles of Riddick: EBB. Now that's a great game!

It Sucks

This game sucks because you have to tell your team everything to do and they don't have a mind of their own. It takes your men like 10 minutes to start shooting when you tell them to and it has to be the worst strategy/ war game I have ever seen.

Best Military Strategies games availble-I am comparing FSW to other war games.

Here is the list of all the Mil-Strats this gen(that i know):
Tom Clancy`s Ghost Recon
Tom Clacy`s Ghost Recon 2
Tom Clancy`s Ghost Recon:Advanced Warfighter(even the X360 ver.)
Tom Clancy`s Rainbow Six 3
Tom clancy`s Rainbow Six:LockDown
SOCOM:U.S. Navy SEALs
SOCOM II
SOCOM 3
Conflict:Desert Storm
C:Desert Stomrm II
Conflict:Vietnam
Conflict:Global Terror
Brothers In Arms:Road To Hill 30
Brothers In Arms 2:Earned In blood
Counter-Strike
Operation Flashpoint
Op.FlashPoint:ELITE
Full Spectrum Warrior.
Full Spectrum Warrior:10 Hammers(It ain`t out yet but it IS a sequal to FSW)

and i gotta say that the FSW series are the most realitic-I have played ALL of the ones i mentioned and have got some of them too myself.GR and R6 do use realistic style has the "One Shot" kill mech. But FSW still somehow fels more "Real".
Maybe its just me,but they DO feel more strategic than ANY other WAR games i`ve played.
I`ll mention two games that are NOT war games but both have Military Strategy in them:
Metal Gear Solid:its a half-fantasy,half-Realistic but has recently emplied CQC action against guards which was supervised by Japanese Military Advisor Motsada Mori so i guess that counts too.
Splinter Cell:Is Tom Clancy`s only game that does not enevolve war-But uses Special Forces tech`s like the SWAT turn for instance so this does indeed Mil Strateggies.
Though i play more squad based games than nowadays,i still love "Run N Gun" games and have recently boaught BLACK which is a new game thats got no puzzles etc and are loving it,i used to own DOOM 64 and 007 Goldeneye, there are still alot of games taht use run n gun:
Call Of Duty
Call Of Duty 2:Big Red One
original COD
MOH:Frontline
MOH:RS
MOH:EA
Halo:Combat evolved
HALO 2
WWII soldier.

SorrY ABOUT MY CHANGED-SUBJECT REVIEW.
but FSW surpasses 99.9% of all MilStrat games thats all.
Oh and i do own both XBOX and PS2-i used to have a GameCube but its busted;(``

bye-thanks for takeing time to read my worthless review!

Military Enthusiasts only.

The Full Spectrum Warrior series are associated to the U.S. Military more than ANY other game except "Americas Army:Rise Of a Soldier"(AA:ROAS,AA,AA:ROS).
This game is alot like Ghost Recon then many other Military-Strategies it uses a realitic combat so its kind of "One shot kill" so that means it`s hard.
Its not my faverite war game but it comes third to FSW:10H(the sequal) and GR:AW.(GRAW as in the X360 version not the krappy XB version).
GRAW is the best Military game out yet. Then i think FSW:10H will come second.
Though i prefer the Ghost Recon games i still like FSW.
GR is alot more fun but FSW is more realitic.

So if you have an XBox or PS2(If you have both get the XB version) i reccomend both FSW and FSW2:10 Hammers.
If you have a 360 BY ALL MEANS get GRAW its great(i don`t have a 360 but have played many games on one and GRAW comes best) if you have an XBox don`t get GRAW because as i sed it krap(same for PS2 nad GCN versions-i have all three consoels).
Oh and this game is ONLY for military enthusiasts, unlike GR which is for Military enthusiasts AND shooter fans.
Oh and FSW and GR arn`t the only games that use mil.strats.:
SOCOM,Conflict,Brothers In Arms,Counter-Strike,Operation:FLASHPOINT ELITE,BattleField etc are also in the "Tactical Shooter" genre and reccomend them too.

Nice game!

Is one of the best Tactical Shooters available-as are GHOST Recon,SOCOM,Conflict,BIA and others(Well Squad Shooters)
Its not a usual RTS(Real Time Strategy) but a fairly new RTT which stands for Real time Tactics-That seperates it from others thats why its more like "Chess on the battlefield".
Its quite hard-But was actually commisioned by the U.S. Army themselves i think so its probaly is worthwhile.
If you don`t like squad shooters/tactical shooters than any FSW game is not reccomended to you-But if you are FSW is VERY reccomended.
Full Spectrum warrior is not perfect-It does get rep. at times but it still has PROS over the CONS.

I look forwards to any sequels the series will offer including Full Specrum Warrior:10 Hammers and anymore that will comeout.

the new GR game is also great:

Ghost Recon:Advanced Warfighter(commonly called GRAW) but the only version that is good is the XBox 360 version-the Xbox version is BAD-and no doubt that the PS2 and GameCube versions will be worse-But the XB360 is SUPERB!
ANY FSW game is reccomended.
