WORST MOH on the market !!

1 Rating: 1, Useful: 1 / 18

stay away from this game it will reel you in and never truley let you go,seriously!im not joking, this is the game puts a new meaning to the MOH series...lame,dumb,and stupid.Surly if you have never played a MOH and you just happen to try one out,and you for some odd reason you choose this one,you will ask yourself "OK lets see,i went to school, right yeah, yeah but i dont get it i was the smartestone in class, and i always had good jugement and i always put it to good use,i dont see what went wrong, this LOOKED to be a promising game uh its the worst ever!oo I know i will take it to the back yard and blast it full with buckshot!,yeah thats good or i could burn it,desisions,desisions...".but let me see this game is so terrible it makes the "gerries" whimper because they dont want to be shot,by such idiots with the IQ of a 2 year old broke loose with a thompson...yeah thats one, maybe its because they arent dying because the ally soldiers cant shoot worth a $#!%...yeah thats probably it.OK lets move on the graphics arent realistic at all,for example CMIS Grimes looks like Big Bird...catch phrases and all,the voice acting is quite satisfying in a weird way...the accents are well done so i suppose i cant say anything on that really you know what i mean?though i must say that the middile of the level boss fights are fun but for no more than a few times through, the way the health bar for the boss is designed is really cool.this game is a bit further as far as freedom for a war game you know like the adreniline attack is also really cool.so in closing im just go on and say it so here it is...F*** IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great AI, great weapons, fun multiplayer, but has flaws.

Unfortuantely, the multiplayer is neither system link or Xbox Live, sadly, which if it had either of these the game would be not just good, but superb.

The AI in this game is nearly on par with Star Wars: Republic Commando. The weapons are really awesome. The one flaw, though, is the lack of system link multiplayer and/or xbox live. This would greatly improve the game.

I also believe that the ESRB should have put mild language on the rating description. Though the language isn't serious, only very mild words, plus they're talking about Nazis.

In this game you are able to pick what secondary objectives you want to go after. You can go after Nazi officers, freeing prisoners, capture bunkers, and destroy radio towers.

In this game you are a leader, a hero, and eventually the holder of a medal of honor.

Bow down to me,
Your lord and master,
Grand Admiral Thrawn

realistic!

This game is great. The multiplayer is one of the best i've seen. Most games I rate based on the multiplayer. Unlike Halo 2, this game does not have X-Box live which is kind of a let down. But the guns in this game are way more realistic. On Halo 2, a rocket laucher can shoot about 5 to 10 shots where in European assault, only one shot can be made with the bazooka (basically equivalent to rocket launcher). I also like how you can get the upgraded version of your class in this game. The only bad thing in this game is that on CTF, you cant pick the levels you are playing. That is the only flaw in this game IMO.

NOT AS GOOD AS CALL OF DUTY 2 OR BROTHERS IN ARMS:EARNED IN BLOOD!

MOH:Frontline was good "Rising Sun" was krap-MOH:EA is alright-but ever since MOH got itself some rivals which are the COD and BIA series-MOH has been falling into third place why, here is what COD and BIA have that MOH don`t:
COD:-Authentic gameplay
-You can play in both USSR and British militaries aswell as USA.

BIA:-Tactical gameplay
-Realism
-Squad control

MOH:F was only good because COD or BIA wern`t out at the time.but MOH better be better next time or MOH won`t be in the competition anymore it will be COD vs BIA.European Assault was good but again not compared to its COD and BIA counterparts(COD2:Big Red One and BIA:Earned In Blood).
still a great game though-but EA better bring there A-Game next MOH as COD and BIA are expanding.
Have you noticed that "Run N Gun" games are becoming a thing of the past infact when a game gets called a Run n Gun-its actually an insult no as most military action games should have strategy, strategy is in stealth games and of coarse Tactical Shooters.Bye

Medal of Honor: European Assault is a quality, accurate, WWII FPS. The opening and the ongoing commentary is a nice tribute to veterans of this countries greatest war. The squad control is limited, but it's all you need, and it's not the main part of the game. The gameplay is very exciting and their are few glitches and frustrating moments.

The healing and revival process is well done, and damage is relative and realistic. And finally, the Nazi's and Jap's die realistically! No more lame, drawn out deaths, or "bullet dodging." The weapons are very well done also, the M1 and shotgun has impresive stopping strenght and the MP40 fires very rapidly. The sniper rifle is not done very well, but the grenades system and the bazooka are perfect in terms of physics.

Drawbacks include no XBOX live, even though it would have sucked, no bots in multiplayer, and a short (but extremely fun) campaign. MOH: European Assault stands above Rising Sun, and Call of Duty: Finest Hour, but falls short of the always fun Frontline. It's worth the $40 pricetag.

Best MOH since Frontline

First of all, I love WW2 stuff and I love shooter games. I played Fronline to death and absolutely loved it. But was disappointed with the last two offerings.
What this game does right is GAMEPLAY! The game just plays right. The guns are controllable, the levels are well thought out. The fact that you can only carry two weapons at a time means you have to plan your attack. You won't be able to figure out how to beat the nazi's the first time through. The difficulty is just right for me when set on normal.
One thing that I love over all previous WW2 shooters, is that your squadmates don't get in your way. I hate taking cover behind a rock but your buddy is already there and your ass gets shot off. You can pass right through them. Some might think this lacks realism but I think little things like this make the game more fun.
My only gripe is that it's really short. That must be why is only costs 36 bucks. It's like half as long as Frontline.
Personally I hope they never stop making WW2 shooters. I never get tired of them.

Awesome Addition!

Perhaps it is because I am a sucker for the WWII shooter games. They could make one every week and i'd be happy. I just love them. They never ever get old to me. And to me, I think Medal of Honor does a great job making these games. We all know Rising Sun wasn't what everyone thought. I enjoyed it actually, it was just too short. This game gives you the option to do sub-objectives which make each level so much more in depth. The controls have changed slightly to give you more options. You can tell your squadmates where to go if you don't want to get shot up. The reason its 4 stars is because there is no Xbox Live... come on!!! although if it would just be a lame live game then i guess don't bother. But this is definently a good buy!

Please dont buy this game

Send a message to the makers of MOH to stop putting out these crappy games buy not getting this game. Only Frontline was any good, and they seem to be resting on their laurels now. European Assault is repetetive, the AI reacts predictably, and the squad commands are limited and pointless. The areas of combat are based in reality, but the missions and battlefields are made up, id rather play Wolfenstein if i wanted that crap. Look, 5 years ago this might be a decent game, but since all the other WW2 games have come out like Call Of Duty, and the phenomenal and authentic Brothers In Arms have come out, it makes it seem that much worse. I dont usually write reviews for anything, but i felt especially passionate about this game.
