Let me get to the bottom line, this game sucks. Same game as tony hawk underground 2 but with just 4 new levels. Controls suck and are hard. this game is a no-no...

Hawk takes a landing and sticks it a perfect 1000 extra points

Despite the GBA ports, the series never got a true handheld port, but with the release of PSP, the game series finally got it's first good port of Tony Hawk. A remix version of the PS2/Gamecube/Xbox hit, the game added four more levels, deleted some of the mindless cut scenes, and gave us everything else good about the same old game. A couple faults were seen, but that really dosen't hurt the game, because the game is still solid, and this port is a great port indeed.

The classic gameplay is still here, with no real changes. Since the PSP does not have two analog sticks, you have to use the control pad to do trucks. I am used to the stick, so it took a little whlie to get used to it, but after a whlie, I got the hang of it, and it works like a charm. The graphcis had a little downgrade in terms of visuals, but that's not really suprising. The game still looks mighty fine though, it sure beats the blocks DS version or the anarchic 2-D visuals. Thanks to the PSP, people can play Ton Hawk on the go, and they still get everything the console version had to offer, plus new levels and a face map editor, which means you can put your face in the game. Pretty cool stuff. Let's see the DS offer a rich gaming expirence like that. It can't touch that.

You know the gameplay itself is rugged and solid at the same time, but the presentation is not bad either. The graphics are great, as the framerate did not take a dip of any kind. you can see the scenery of the other levels far as the eye can see. The snazzy water effects and other small things are intact as well. The soundtrack stayed the same, as the did not add or delete any songs, it was untouched. There is not much to say, because any Hawk fan knows why the like the game, adn this game will please anybody who likes the series. This is a no-brainer, and it survived the port process, so there is no reason not to buy this if you already have it. And for the price, it's a nobrainer, like I said before.

Fun Stuff!!!

This is actually the first THUG game I have played. I have no clue how well the PS2 version handles, and frankly, I don't care! This game is more than enough fun for me!! It's controls are a little crazy sometimes (That distracts from the gameplay) but its off-the-wall humor, and crazy situations make it a really incredible game, especially for Tony Hawk game fans!! If you have a PSP and want a fun (Long) game, get this one. You won't be disapointed!!

It's not what I expected, but I'm not a skateboarder. So, I just play this game to feel like one. Although, it's a game that I am getting used to. I have the one in PS2, and it's fun to skate on rails, rooftops, powerlines, etc. Too bad can't do that in the real world. The first Tony Hawk: Underground was okay and I got that one too. I'm not far from the level that I'm on either one of them. But it's fun to play as a skateboarder, which makes you feel like one although not.

Wow! This game has almost identical grahics to the PS2 games and has 4 more levels than THUG 2 for PS2! There are also new characters. The only dropoff of this game from the console is the fact that there are only 2 shoulder buttons instead of 4. If you have play Tony Hawk on a console before and have enjoyed it, then this is a must buy.
