Hello Kitty Knows How To Party!!

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 39 / 40

This game, aside from being extremely cute, is just thoroughly fun to play! It has a mission based theme (not unlike the "Get A Life" mode in the Sims), and it has like 13 or so "mini" games which are really not that small. For instance, it has a game which is identical to Bust-A-Move (not the dance game), where you pop the bubbles. It also has a game similar to Collapse, and one like Skee-Ball (where you roll the balls up the alley to dunk them into cylinders for points), and there is a sliding puzzle picture game, a Simon-like musical memory game, and then a Parappa-style game where you do button commands to music, and there is a card matching game (like Memory). Another fun game it has is a pinball game! There are also many other games here too which are a blast to play. You can play them independently of the mission-based game too if you prefer. In the mission-based game, it is your responsibility to gather items and talk to people to plan a party. When you play the "mini" games, you can earn prizes, which you use to give out to your friends at the party to ensure they are having a good time. When you have the party, if your friends are having a good time (and you will know because it shows a percentage for thier happiness), you move on to the next level. Quite honestly, this game is pretty deep for what appears to be a "kiddie" game. I can definitely see teens and adults enjoying this, even more so than younger kids might. But it IS good for all ages! Even if you arent a Hello Kitty fan, I bet you will love it anyway!

A great video game for girls!

This is the perfect game for a little girl! We bought this for our 6 yr. old daughter and she finds it fun, challenging and cute!

I do feel that I should mention that she completed 5 of the 6 levels in less than a month and didn't play the game for more than an hour a day. She has however, had a lot of video game experience with Playstation 2, Nintendo Gamecube and DS platforms so her level of experience might have encouraged that!

The mini-games are delightful and she loves to dress up Hello-Kitty and check on the character's happiness meters and make them "100% happy".

This game is very entertaining, sweet and completely innocent. One of the few girly games around worth purchasing!

Good shipping. Game is kinda boring for an adult and too hard for a 5 yr old. Must be a good reader to play.

This game is ok. The party planning is hard to figure out for my daughter and for me, we haven't thrown a succesful party yet. The games outside of the prty planning are enjoyable. Would not buy this again.

I've been a Hello Kitty fan for years and I've owned all her games. They're never the best but worth a try, same with this one. The "mini games" are the best part of the game. The rest is too slow and boring. The directions aren't very clear.

I'm an adult, so I'm not as easily entertained as I may have been if I were younger. I realize that's the target market for this game, but adults like to play games with characters they like also. So, it's good for young kids but not really for anyone else, unfortunately.

I like this game, not love, but like. It is very cute, fun, and good for all ages. My little brother even plays it! The Graphics are cute too, the real Sanrio stuff. Anyways, the 'plot' is that you basically plan a party, invite family and friends (they are chosen for you) and make them happy before and during your party. As you progress, you can move onto more locations, and have more parties with more people and music, too! Another thing I love is that the passwords AREN'T random jumbled-up letters and numbers. They are two words (no spaces) that fit into and eight-letter box. Overall: this game is good for most ages (heck, I'm twelve!), and is very fun.

Adorable!

My fiance bought this game for me because he knew how much I loved Hello Kitty and how I already owned the Gamecube version. I cannot tell you how fun this game is! He even took it to play himself! Great game for both young and old.
