I grew up playing Duke Nukem. 8 years old kickin alien ass and takin names. 17 years still playin the same old stuff. Duke Nukem is an instant classic for all true video game players. Duke Nukem Defines video game enjoyment. It goes along the same lines as Doom does. With the release of Doom3 and Quake4 it is time for a DukeNukem game for the Next Gen of Gaming 2006! Look at the progress that Doom took...from old school dos...to new school XP. Duke Nukem is a MUST HAVE for all gamers out there. Manhatten Project goes back to the roots of the classic side scrollers, with some newer enhanced graphics. It is highly addictive to play. So, BUY THIS GAME!

Explitives are a given in any good ol' fashion Duke Nukem game and this one's full of 'em!

Welcome to Duke Nukem's Manhattan Project! Fans of Duke's previous incarnations might have an issue here in terms of concept.

Keep in mind that this is a 3D PLATFORM GAME! Not a FPS like the other Duke Nukem games! Since I'm a fan of both, I had a blast playing this!

First off, it's a great looking game. It's well renedered, well designed and fluid. The over conceptual art is unique and fascinating to admire. I caught myself looking around at environments and not noticing that I was being shot at at times.

Next is the patented Duke humor. This game is just as funny as the other games. Great one-liners delivered with the greatest of cheese- I mean ease. The plot carries the corniness through out well. The voice-over acting is spot-on.

Weapons. What's a Duke Nukem game without an arsenal? Terrific assortment of guns, bombs and Goop guns. The gauges are well displayed and the enemies' damage gauges too. There aren't many bosses, but when there are, they aren't pu**ie* like Duke calls them.

Game control. Very tight. Like all platform games it is vital to control the character well and I had no problems doing so here.

Camera angles. My only gripe in the game. Sometimes when the character "turns" the 3D elements turn the camera angle to a difficult position. This was very frustrating at times and killed the fun for me a lot.

There are a lot, and I mean A LOT of hidden things to find. Sometimes, I got annoyed when I didn't get all 10 Nukes, but it's not mandatory in order to complete the game.

Overall, it's a great game that both Duke fans and platform lovers will enjoy.

PS: Yes- there are plenty of babes to rescue.

Outstanding game!!!! Brings back the old school engine yet keeps the game in a sophisticated and up to date 3D environment. Definitely a must have for ALL gamers! Looks great and Duke still has all his kick [butt]lines and attitude. You can scale building and do really cool jump kicks too. One of the best games released this year!! GET THIS GAME!!!!!

First of all, I didn't like the side view perspective. I always like the first person perspective of past Duke episodes. This reminds me too much of Super Mario Nintendo type games, which I hate. Second, you can't move but right or left in many parts of the game. That even reminds me more of Nintendo games. The old DN games gave a freedom of movement feel, which, to me, seemed more realistic. The graphics are very good, a big improvement over the old graphics, but I like the underwater effects and FP style of the earlier installments.

Great to have 2D games.

Unlike some of the children that have written thier views on 2D and the only genre they know, 3D, it is my opinion that 2D games still have life. It is of course where 3D games were originated. I wouldn't expect a child to understand the difference between the two and the special advantages 2D games have over 3D games. This title is a seriously good game. It has the nice graffics that a 2D game offers and game-play. It is a solid product.

Real Lame. "Earth Worm Jim" is a better buy. Worst Duke Nukem game ever.

Side scroller, no 3-D. The first Dukes were much better. Save your money for Doom III. You'll find my copy of DNMP on eBay in a bit.
