The best DDR game ever!

When I got this game, I was so excited playing it! It has many great songs and is much like the PS2 DDR games. The song wheel on there is basically a recoloring of the DDRMAX song wheel on the PS2. This revolutionized the DDR nation by playing online, downloadable song packs, and more.

Anyway, the songs on here are good, but most of the unlockable songs are great to play. The sound is good, and so are the graphics. The edit mode lets you customize the steps to a certain song. Also, you can do Challenge mode to do challenges on a certain song. This is the one of the two versions of DDR Ultramix (Along with Ultramix 2) to be unlocked through play. All the others (UM 3 & 4) unlock the song through Quest Mode.

I dont have this game :-( i want it i played it once at an arcade store and Man I am 11 and i beat about 20 teenagers it was easy!!!! This game is 1000 times better that American Idol the game (believe me it sucks check ratings at gamespot and Britheys dance it sucks too) Anyway this game is greeeat!!! If you like music and Dancing get this game!!!

My mom bought this game for me awhile ago and I was really excited about it. I had been playing on my friend's DDR game for awhile and I really liked hers. So this game was fun, but it was nothing compared to my friend's. You have to earn your new songs and the songs get old after a long time. It's cool when you get a new song, but otherwise this game isn't anything special.

why are there so many 5 star ratings for this game? come on people lets give some honest and unbiased reviews about this game because other people besides ddr fanatics will be reading these reviews. this game is 3 stars for fun because the first 2 times you play the game its fun to make fun of such a ridiculous game. do not buy this unless you are one of the above ddr fanatics. gets boring in less than 30 minutes of playing unless you are drinking, and in that case you have better things to do then play ddr, and there is no replay value whatsoever. unless you are incredibly gifted the steps and the beats are way too hard to get down anyways. do not buy this for your own good.

This is a good game! All the songs are good, but they needed more faster one. It seemed like it was for noobies most likely. Ultramix 2 had all the faster games. But this game is DEF worth 20.00 bucks no doubt

If you already got a pad, and an xbox. Buy this, you wont be dissapointed!!

I bought this game for my daughter for her 13th birthday. The minute she opened it, she and five of her friends put it together immediately. This was the easiest birthday party I have ever hosted! They LOVED it! My daughter plays with it so often that she has 'aced' many of the songs at the beginner level and is now tackling some of the more difficult arrangements. But, not only does she enjoy this game, my 10 year old son, his friends, my husband, and even I use it often. This game is not only fun and challenging, but best of all, GREAT EXERCISE! We LOVE it!

I don't have this game, yet. But I have played it at my friend's house and it is great fun! Up to 4 players, great songs, and XBoxLIVE! What more could you ask for? If you have the money then buy it. What are you waiting for go buy it!!!!

DDR Ultramix is a very good game I think it is very interesting.With 2 new modes battle mode and challenge mode DDR is even better than ever.Except there are some things that were left out and aren't in the game.Lesson mode a mode that teaches new players how to play DDR is not included.Also endless mode which was just released in DDRMAX2 is not available.So is Nonstop mode and the Beginner difficulty which shows a dancer play on the DDR controller while you play was not included.But I think the 2 new game modes fill in those empty places.Except for Lesson mode Konami should of included that mode.Also there are dancing characters but you can't pick which one you want and there are only two Lady and Afro.Which were introduced in the first DDR game ever made in 1998(It was only released in japan).Not the one released for the U.S.A. in 2000 or 2001.

This DDR game is the first one for XBOX and has XBOX live compatibility.Also the songs rock.They have all of my favorites.Also you can download new songs via Xbox live and there are 9 songs you can unlock too.Also you can compete against other people via Xbox live...

This is the best game, no questions asked. When u play it, it's addiceting. I've had it 4 one month and right after skool I'm in my basement playin it. At first, it's hard, but when u get used 2 it u will be in love, garentied. 4 first timers I'd recomend the song "ON THE JAZZ," By Johny Dynimite. DDR is addecting so have fun and remember to eat and pee inbetween songs. LOL.
