Great "starter" game for the 'Pac Man' generation...

I am a child of the 80s...Pac Man, Dig Dug, Space Invaders, etc. So the newer games of today are just too complicated for me. We just bought the Xbox system and when we looked for games, I was looking for "easy" for my 4-year old. (I also wanted to find a "retro" game for myself!) He loves Star Wars, he likes Legos and it is rated "E"...another qualification of mine. He loves it. It is nice that it is not a "three strikes and you're out" type of game. You can go on and on. We all caught on pretty fast to this one. It is a really cool game. I'm sure it may be too "babyish" for some, but if you are new to video games or stuck in the past with a playing level of "pong", it is a lot of fun. However, when my son goes to bed, I pop out my other purchase a retro CD: Pac Man...same format...same fun as back then!

Created by Travellers Tales, LEGO Star Wars is brilliant. It blends the unique world of LEGO with the adventure of Star Wars (both from my childhood).My son and I can't get enough of this game.
You play the most popular moments from The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. As you progress through the game you can unlock new characters to purchase including ones from the Dark Side, each character has special abilities and you must switch between them to solve puzzles through out the game.
I love the "drop in, drop out" two-player co-operative mode that allows a second player to enter or leave the action whenever they want. Free-play mode adds considerably to the game's re-playability.
The only time we had an issue with game play was the two player mode during the Pod Racing. Even if you don't like Star Wars or Legos you should check this game out.

This is a really fun game. I got it about a year ago, and only now have I stopped playing it long enough to write a review...Ok, not really but it's really great.
Just a word to the Wise...DON'T USE CHEATS...it really makes the game go by alot quicker than it should. Also, don't unlock invincibilaty unless you are really stuck...
Can't wait for the next one---You can build your own characters!

We bought this game for our 5 year old. The story line and level of play required are perfect for his age. He even got his mom hooked for a few days. Some frustration with the way two-player mode handles the players trying to go in different directions, but that's a minor quibble.

This is a fun game - not as many gags as the original series video game but a similar premise. The game also does not take as long as the original series.

I bought this game for my son in place of the "T" rated Star Wars Battlefront that he played a few times. I'm hooked on it myself! It's a very challenging, fun game that he plays for hours. He'll be up at six on a Saturday and plays till I get up...then it's off to go outside and get some exercise. I can't say enough good things about this game. It makes kids think, learn teamwork, and instead of gory shootouts the legos simply fall to pieces. Highly recommended.

I bought this based on other customer reviews and recommendations of local kids. It is extremely fun and will provides hours of quality lego busting action for my son and his father. It is one of the best games we have played so far.

If you need a game for children of almost any age, this is the game. It is incredibly kid-friendly. I especially like that you can lose your life and still come in I don't know how many times. My kids age 4, 7, and 10 love this game. And they're all girls. For those needing a family game this is it.

Grandkids 5 and 7 loved this game. Die a million times, once you master the changing of the charaters the game goes very easy. Having a little trouble getting them past the flying through the maze.

This is a great game. I have played all the start wars games before and I can say this one is great!!! Especially for the younger audience!!! I suggest buying this for your star wars fan.
