THE CURE!!

I think this game is the best!! But i agree totally that it takes way to long to load!!! But as a present i got this special device like a memory card that speeds up the loading sooo much that it takes about 5 seconds at most to load a level, and that is in Crash 5 imagine how fast it would be in any other game!!! So i truly enjoyed this game but if i didn't have this 'special device' i would have given it 3 stars.

This game is fun! I don't care how long it takes to load. The fun levels make up for this problelm. Now Coco is fully playable. My favorite level is Gold Rush. Get the game now!

Another Crash Banicoot

Ok,wasn't what I was expecting,but I bought it any how.It's ok and has a good story line.I love the music to it!It's pretty good music at least.The graphics are good, but not perfect.You can finally be Coco at least on the places that do with Hong Kong(she loves Hong Kong).Crash is the main charter and does pretty well of it too.I like the elementals.These are face masks that control a certent element.Since I'm telling you a lot I might as well tell you what it is about.It all starts with Dr.Cortex making a plan.He decides to awaken the elementals.Which now Crash and Coco must find a some of 5 purple crystals and beat Crunch(another bandicoot)to send the face masks back to where they came from.The elementals will be listed below.
Rok-Ko:mask of Earth
Wa-Wa:mask of Water
Lo-Lo:mask of Wind
Py-Ro:mask of Fire
You get a set of different vehicles which include the following below:
Firefly
Glider/Space Fighter
Copter-Pak
Jeep
Coco's Scooter/Snowboard
Sub
and
Mech

They're all pretty cool looking and they all have good qualifacations,but most of them are not fast.At all.But this is depending on your dision.So, if you like games like this you should buy it.But I warn you, if you're not patient you shouldn't buy it.It takes a minute to load and sometimes longer.And most of the time it's hard to figure out how to make it save and load.If you're not sure here's a tip,go up to the save load thing until you can't go any further,don't jump or you'll mess things up,so once your there press x then you can save and load. Hope I'm helpful.

Crash's game crash

How could any one think crash fans would go so low to buy a game like this.

First of all, the very first boss ( a cortex made bandacoo called Crunch ) is almost impossible to beat. Rolling is one of the hardest moves to acomplish. The rocks move the opposite way, just miss you, and when there on fire they hurt you.

Next, the levels are just too hard. Example: level twos flying on a bug game, its almost impossible to do. If u die you have to start all over, its too fustrating.

I think the true fans of the crash series will have a blast with this new release. With new level types and a few new boss masks, its sure to please the dyehard fans.

For those new to the crash legacy, should avoid it. The controls for the vehicals are to complacated. The story line moves too fast, and the loading/save screen is impossible to acess.

But it does have a mute bandacoot, and that has to be worth something.

So this games gets a 3 outta 5

Good game, but don't get the ps2 version

This is an excellent game gameplay wise. The graphics are spectacular and the music is the usual Crash Bandicoot style stuff. The controls are easy to pick up. They even added a few new types of levels (i.e. rolling crash bandicoot. Imagine super monkey ball with crash inside the ball :)). It is kind of short, but what is there is extremely fun (although sometimes irritating). The reason I gave this game a 3 star rating is because of two things. The first is the load times. It takes (on average) 45 seconds-1 min to load each level. This wouldn't be bad, but that brings me to the second problem. There is no loading bar, so you can't see how much longer it's gonna be. Plus, while you are waiting for it to load, this annoying alarm type noise plays. Now, put all that together and imagine sitting there for a minute not knowing how much longer they are gonna torture you with that annoying noise. This prevented me from beating the game because I refused to wait for the loading screen. I have heard that the gamecube version is much better with the load times, although I wouldn't know because I didn't want to buy the same game for two systems. Definately buy this game if you are a Crash Bandicoot fan, but I reccommend the GCN version instead of the PS2 version.

Fun for all ages, but a bit too hard for the younger kids

The game is average in just about all aspects: graphics, gameplay, and storyline. The game doesn't provide anything over the standard Mario-type-smashing-crates-and-collecting-fruit game, but is still fun, nonetheless, and provides a good amount of play time. Many of the levels are too challenging for younger players. There are some levels where the player "dies" by missing a jump, falling into water, and drowning. I thought the image of the character floating face down in the water wasn't appropriate for younger kids. For the most part, though, it will provide entertainment for all ages.

Trash Bandicoot

A game with mediocre graphics, simple gameplay and long load times isn't very exciting. An that is exactly what this is. Obviously Sony saw this as well and sold Crash to Konami, who produced it on Xbox and Gamecube

Try Before You Buy

After reading other reviews, I decided to rent this game before purchasing. In the end, I think it was the best decision. The graphics are nothing special, the music is irritating, and (as already previously stated by many many other reviews) the loading screen is entirely too obnoxious. My husband played it for about ten minutes before turning it off complaining it was giving him a headache (and he has way more tolerance than I do).

Do yourself a favor and RENT this game before buying it.

who cares about the loading?? its about the game!!

ths game is great fun for the whole family ima tell you a story. well anyway my aunt and uncle came over with there five children they must have been busy... one kid is 4 one is 6 one is 10 one is 12 one is 14 and there me im 10 my brother 14 my mom and dad too. so thats 11 people. so the adults are drinking coffee and us we have nothing to do so i say u guys want to play crash bandicoot? so we play then the adults come and play too! and when it starting to load we make astragety of how were going to get through a part were stuck on and we kept taking turns my dad was the best along with my uncle even the youngest ones the 4 and 6 years old were having fun and its prett hard the game. and the littlest one the 4rth and 6th one again loved the sound effects and music they were singing along with it so this is defeintly a really really great game for the whole family also for one person but better with family so go out and get this awesome game!!!!!!! right now!
