Harvestmoon save the homeland is a really cool game, its unlike all the others where money is really important because its not in this game. In other game you have to grow a certain amount of crops and things like that. in this game you have to make friends with everyone in town in order to save the town in 1 year before they build a theme park. all and all I think this game is really cool if you liked the other one I am sure that you will like this one so go out and buy it.

it was ok.....

This newest game from natsume brings a whole new harvest moon world to life. I loved this game but it could have been much better. It gets very boring after you make it threw 2 story lines. Personly I didn't love the guys new pony tail lol! But i did like how you can now ride your horse around town and have your dog follow you too! That was the highlight for me! Over all this is more of a game you would want to rent not buy for yourself.

I thought it would be alot better!

The game had potential.Coming from the N64 verson, it really isn't any better, only worse. The game has the best graphics yet for harvest moon, which really is not saying much anyway. Other than the better graphics, this game lags far behind any other HM game, espicially in price. A definate dont buy, unless you are a die -hard fan of HM...

It's a pretty fun game...It's fun to play once, but it's pretty repetative, and not one of those things you would want to play more than once, even tho it has 9 possible endings. You have to kind of develop a routine to survive, for example, every day, I would wake up, wake up the chickens and get the eggs, brush and milk the cows, water the crops, do part-time work at brownie farm, go foraging, sell my stuff, go home, and go to sleep. After days of doing this it gets a bit boring, and the only really exciting times were when my corn could be harvested or a baby calf was born. mostly pretty boring, but it was fun the first time.

I loved this game! I first save it in a video store for renting and I was immediately and pleasantly surprised! I didn't think I'd get much out of this game, but I did! Even though, you have to chase the dog around to get it, get a part-time job, and can get really sick! It's fun, just like real life! Of course, you have to feed your dog! Or he'll be mad.

The only thing that I didn't like was that the fairy can stop appearing, chickens constantly die, and you can't be a girl. =( I think that most people rating this have played HM: A Wonderful Life, I've never played and I think that if I do play it - I could like it a whole lot better, but if you've never played it there would be nothing to compare this ONE to. So, I'll enjoy it a whole lot more.

What's wrong with this one? It is totally deifferent from all of the rest of the series. Of course now The interaction is more serious, but no marriage at the end like the others...

This game is totally sweet!!!

This game is vey fun and has awesome graphics, but I can't say iit is better than the PS1 version. The flaw with this game is it is very short. I beat it in less than 10 hours of game play. There are 9 endings but it would be boring to go throught it over and over. But,it was very fun,but just too short.

Don't Get IT!

Harvest Moon Save the homeland is not worth the money! The graffects, I must say, are GREAT! Actually, they're the best graffects I've ever seen! But Harvest Moon 64, for Nintendo 64, is a much better game! In this game, all you do is save the homeland. In Harvest Moon 64, you can marry, have a baby, and the game goes on and on! In this game, the game ends after 1 year..then you have to start over again! So, my opinion is...IT STINKS! DON'T GET IT!
