Great game, [...]

preordered the game the first day it was available for pre-order. Pre-order offer was for the game ans a free headset. Got the game, not the headset. Love how Amazon.com used the old bait-and-switch tactic. The game itself is awesome. Requires a pretty hefty system to play it, which I will need to upgrade my hardware eventually. I have a GF 5700 and a 5900...both play it great. [...]

Laughable effort from EA (again)

This is just the same stupid game they have been releasing for years. They just update the graphics to force people to upgrade their computers, don't give a crap about getting the game to work and just sit down waiting for the money to flow in, money from all these ingenuos 9 year old's that give this game 5 stars.

These people, who think that a re-sold turkey like BF2 is worth 50 bucks, have no idea what a video game is. They wouldn't even know if one hit them in their pre-pubscent regions.

And just to prove what I'm saying, I have a 3.06 Ghz, 4 RAM, 256 PCI Nvidia Gforce card, and 160 of free room in the disk, and guess what, 10-15 minutes of waiting each time you select a menu, even when all the graphics are set to the minimium. Multiplayer refreshes every 5-6 seconds during gameplay, if you get a sever in the first place, and it doesn't crash you when connecting (Which happens half of the time) and they also forgot to allow the player to access the menu when in single player mode, so when playing solo, you must hit CTRL-ALT-SUPR to exit the game.

Laughable effort. Waste of 50 bucks. Thank God it wasn't my money.

this game is the best

A Kid's Review

Run around a so called 'battlefield' shooting at whatever moves, doing whatever you want, jumping like Bugs Bunny when you are being fired at.

Sit down with a sniper rifle and snipe down just respwaned player, as the 'respawn' point is one per team (Never seen soldiers 'respawn' in modern warfare).

Get in a vehicle and run over people. Wow.

And people dare to put the expressions 'Strategy' and 'Best piece of software ever created' in their list of BF2'positive things.

And I forgot to mention the wait of inserting the CD, have the program verify if it's original, watch the 10 min un-cancellable EA intro video, create an account, register it, have EA verify it, access the menu (Takes long enough to allow you a visit to the bathroom), access Gamespy (You can't access the sever list on your own apparently) suffer trough it's ads of 'register, pay money for some useless crap' access the server list (Which has no filters of ANY kind...), find a suitable game (Only about 4% or 6% have more than 8 players and less than 1700 ping, and there are more than three thousand servers), wait for the map to load, and finally wait for your character to respawn. 45 minutes, I checked it.

Nice try, EA, nice try. I say to you, better luck next time, as I do with every 'game' you release...

The game would not load on my PH MC m470n. I contacted AE and was told it would not work with ATI Radeon 9200MCE card. They also were willing to refund my money thru Amazon.

Montie

PS. Was unable to send without rating. There is no rating I was not able to enjoy the game.

Funny stuff.

I was totally going to buy this game yesterday, I had it pulled up and was about to make the purchase before I got distracted. The price was $9.99 and S&H was $1.82... totally reasonable price. So today I came on to finalize the purchase and S&H magically rose EIGHT DOLLARS!!! If S&H costs 17 cents less than the game does, I'm definately NOT going to buy it. This MUST be some kind of a joke.

YA... seriouly awsome :0 ?

Ya well there isnt much to say about this game ...besides th fact that it is purly awsome...i hear all thses people comlaining about system reqs. and well shoulda od read the box :) i mean i am only 15 and i have my own computer i made myself. It has a 3.7 ghz with the new intel extreme processor woth a radeon 9000 graphic card... BUT back to the point if your going to buy the game only buy it to play multi player... cause seriously its pretty much meant for multi-player. and if your runnning dial up dont get it either cause it wont work trust me... found out myself... SO i had to get broad band . And ya i was worth it... and if you buy the game and play multi-playr get a set of head phones (comes really handy insted of typing to other players).

My computer is better than yours

this game anit go n0thng on raven shield, yet all these peeps are leaving rVs 4 this pile of s*** ! this game is poorly optimized and will give annoying slow-downs even on a recent gaming rig. the maps are too big and lack clear, well defined objectives. this game is just like the worst of pacific assault meets UT 2004 Nul ! Zero ! Avoid it !!!!

I just dl the demo for battlefield 2 and doen't know if it is fun or not, i wasn't expecting it to be like the two other battlefield game, don't laugh that i can run this game on a ati radeon Xtreme 200 series video card it might be a ok card, to handle games that are release this year.

This game is one of the best online games i have ever played. If your getting this game your going to have to have internet connection to play. Also one player is not that fun at all really it mostly made for playing online. One bad thing is that you need a good graphics card but i have a Radeon 9800 Xt it works perfect. You should denftinely buy it i won all the battle field games.Good Work EA!
