LOVE THIS GAME

It seems to go on and on, but that's good. It keeps track of how many times you win or lose to an opponent. PROMOS are awesome!!!!!!!! Let's just say that I like this better than Sacred Cards. You don't have to manually save it. It automatically saves by itself. Just finish a duel and turn it off.

bad point:
No new boosters like PGD, LOD, DCR MFC are in there. Maybe some like Dark Magician Girl and Magician of Black Chaos and stuff, but not the kick @$$ cards like Spear Dragon, Dark Ruler Hades and stuff.

The game is very well in graphics. However, the music is very very very repetitive. The promos are great! If you need good promos, and you have a GBA or GBA SP, get this. It's worth the money.

Valkyron the Magna Warrior
1/5
Almost impossible to summon. Gate Guardian is impossible to summon.

Sinister Serpent
5/5
No comment. Too good.

Harpies Feather Duster
5/5
One word: Staple. One word: Forbidden.

I maybe a kid, but hell, this is the first Yu-Gi-Oh, cartridge game i have. I do NOT play the cards, but i believe its good for a... what, several days for newbies. Its quite interesting, and Me being me (a guy who takes most advantages in a game) i like the codes. :) I gone through the codes with a fine tooth comb, so here's the best, the 'creme de la creme' at the bottom after my rantings. This game does not have that good of graphics, but then, most GBA games has bad graphics. It seems from the others that Dungeon Dice Monsters is a better one. So after i finish the game i'll try that one. Now for all you cheaters, its what you have been waiting for, a list of the best cheat codes:
Jinzo 77585513 (oh yeah!!)
Left Arm of the Forbidden One 07902349
Left Leg of the Forbidden One 44519536
Right Arm of the Forbidden One 70903634
Right Leg of the Forbidden One 08124921 (Sorry, I can't find Exodia the forbidden one)
Man-Eater Bug 54652250
Millennium Golem 47986555
Millennium Shield 32012841 (3000 Defense!!)
Red-Eyes Black Dragon 74677422
Metalmorph 68540058
Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon 64335804
Swords of Revealing Light 72302403 (how can this NOT be in this list?)
Toon World 15259703 (you'll need this if you want to battle pegasus)
Stop Defense 63102017
Swordstalker 50005633

The Good:
Cards are alright for the collectors i guess
1000 in-game cards with codes!! yay codes!!
Other stuff

The Bad:
AI. its as terrible as people has been saying. well, not AS bad, but its pretty bad.
That you can't use the codes more than once.

The Ugly:
The rules, you need to know every single damn rule (and code) if you want to seriously (and i mean seriously, as that you will own you friends and the game itself) own this game FROM THE BEGGINING.

Good, but not nearly as good as I thought...

I bought this game last summer, and have played all the way through it. With that said, here's what I think...
I love Yu-gi-oh! I've played the card game, read the manga, and have even watched the TV show. I really like the story of Yugioh, and I enjoy playing the card game from time to time, but since it's hard to find someone who wants to duel with you I figured I'd buy one of the many Yu-gi-oh video games. After reading all of the reviews on all the available games, I chose this one because it's a GBA game so I can play it on the go just like the real card game, and because... Well, I'd hate to sound stupid, but c'mon...the name of the game just sounds so cool!
But sadly, this game isn't so cool after all...
Although this game does follow the offical rules for the yugioh trading card game, and there are many assorted duelists from the TV show to duel with, there are still many problems with it which I will list below.

Pros: Game follows the offical rules of the game.
Has many of the duelests from the TV show.
Contains over 1,000 of the offical game cards, including the rare ones.
Text can be changed from English to Spanish (Espanol), French (Francais), German (Deutch), Italian (Italiano), and Japanese.
And it follows the awesome story of the TV show/manga.

Cons: The game glitches out and freezes whenever you play a card that requires the role of dice.
Almost all of the duelists have the same powerful cards, cards that they dont actually have! Since when does everyone have cards like Raigeki, Summoned Skull, Dark Hole, and Slate warrior?!
Odion is almost impossible to beat without the Jinzo card or the Royal Decree card!
Forget about using your own deck in the game because unless you have an incredible deck of cards, with lots of monsters over 2500 attack points!
Monster cards have no animation when on the field, and you know what that means... You dont get to see your monsters breathing fire or casting spells at your enemy's monsters!
And no Egyptian God cards exist in this game!

Final thoughts: I didn't snap the game in half and throw it into the garbage! I was testing it's durability, and I placed it into the garbage because it's garbage and I thought it should be with it's family. Hahahaha! :^D *Just kidding!*
Honestly though, I just didnt enjoy playing this game even half as much as I thought I would. I recomend that you buy another one of the Yu-gi-oh games. Yu-gi-oh, Eternal duelist soul and duels of the roses are all good choices.
Otherwise, you're better off just buying a Starter Deck and dueling with your friends or siblings.

If you plan on playing this game, use these passwords, you're gonna need 'em... "77585513" "89631139"

Best Yu-Gi-Oh game out there.

If you like the Yugioh card game and own a GBA but do not own this game, go buy it. NOW. Stop reading this review and but it, darnit!
Seriously, this is the apex of Yugioh games. With a plethora of cards at your disposal, an fliud, well-thought out duel system that follows the actual rules to a tee, and clever variations on dueling in the form of random tournaments, make this game a must have for any fan. The 3 promotional cards that come with the game are also a immense bonus (Valkyrion the Magna Warrior, Sinister Serpent, and Harpie's Feather Duster). Heck, even casual fans can get into the game and have fun.
All in all, this game is a purchase no Yugioh fan will regret.

Konami takes it all

The game deffinately took Yu-Gi-Oh up a huge, long notch!

I went to Las Vagas several, short days ago and wandered inside a store and decided to check out the electronics. Since I had my money, I said, "Why not?" And picked up the weightless box containing a game that I would forever enjoy.

People of different cultures can play this game easily, from the different language it supplies you with.

The all-new adventure mode and different zones to go through acts as improvements to the game. I would recommend this game to expert duelists who want to reach the top.

Pretty face but brainless

The AI for this game is lame. Anyone old enough to read Yugioh cards will have no problem winning most of their games. The challenge level is decided by the computer opponent that you face. Mokuba is the easiest and always plays straight up attack mode with no magic or traps. Ishizu and Kaiba are the toughest and may win up to a third of their games. Their decks are stacked with ultra rare cards. Not only that, the AI cheats! This was the only way that the programmers could get their AI to win any games. Basically, the AI knows your face-down monster cards. Do not bother playing Magic Hats because the computer will guess right every time. The top computer opponents will only attack face down cards with a lower defense value. For challenge, I only play with weak decks to avoid overpowering the computer. Some deck themes like Gravity Bind are beyond its ability to counter. This will not help you to beat humans. I was disappointed that some standard cards like Ring of Magnetism or Last Will were dropped with this version. There are several bugs in its implementation of specific card rules (ie Ameba with Mystic Box, Sangan with Change of Heart). On the bright side, the included promo cards, Harpy's Feather Duster and Sinister Snake, are excellent additions to anyone's deck.

THE GAME IS PRETTYGOOD

this game is kind of good. Why because you can actually set more than one magic card on the field. Unlike dark duel story you can only put one magic card at a time and the game stinks too the game have different set of rules too like for example the game dont have any cards effect like man eater bug effect is to distoy a monster that distroy it.the game dont do that effect. so that the reason why I like this game up above. see you peace git.

I like it.

I like this game because the duel system is well done. It is more accurate gameplay than 'Dark Duel Stories' or the newer 'Sacred Cards' and has a much more pleasant environment. It is nice to walk around, though.

This is my second password ( i to p) hope u like it
