This Game ROCKS!!! I spend almost all of my spare time playing this game, there are some bugs and annoying little things, but it's got good graphics and replayability is very, very High! The civilization variety is good, the map style variety is good, the Conquests are pretty cool. Did I mention good graphics? The AI is ok, but then again, I've only played on the two easiest out of Eight different difficulty levels. You can spend a lot of time playing this game.

Dissapointment

Pros: self explanatory(see description). The conquests are very interesting, especially WW II in the pacific.

Cons: Not enough conquest scenarios. *World War II scenario in Europe is NOT included in this expansion.* This is unfortunate since it was included as a free conquest option in Civ 2.

This is a great expanison pack to Civ3, with many new features, including 9 professionally designed "Conquests" (scenarios), which feature many civs and units from history...

The only part of this game that I was disapointed in was that there are *some* bugs (errors) in the game...

Overall, this is a great game for all gamers...

Who thought that Civilization 3 could get any better after Play The World? With the conquests expansin, computer games are taken to a whole new level. Its almost too realistic. Its imposible to imagine how so much alterenatives of how to play a game you have in only one.

Take a first rate game and add lan and internet ability and you get a game that you can test yourself with players from all over the world.

For myself the ability to play in local lan parties or with pals out of state make it a real winner.

I'm not ready for part 4 right now so I'll just keep enjoying this.

A worthy expansion to an amazing series.

This expansion is an amazing addition to the Civilization series, and makes the best game to date far better! It makes up for the Play the World expansion, and includes all the additions (except for maps) in that expansion. Well worth a pruchase if you're into games of this type, you will not be disapointed! If you don't have Civ III the core game, get it. Conquests is a masterpiece. Prepare to be addicted.

Already Disappointed

I must say that from reading the reviews and advertising for the game that Im already disappointed even though I havent played the expansion. Most of the 'features' could, and have, been done already. Anyone who has played the fantastic 'Test of Time' map will know what I mean (Im not sure where I got it from originally, I think its a free download, try google). The Civ 3 Test of Time map has many new civilizations, including Incas, Israelis, Songhai and Tibetans. The map also has features mentioned in the advertising for this expansion, such as tobacco as a trade good. The new city specialists and government types might make things a bit different, but I dont think Ill bother.

Very fun expansion

This is a nicely done expansion pack. I found Conquests challenged me to play in all new ways. It also adds a lot to the original Civ3 if you don't even want to play the conquests. Lots of great Civilizations and units. I have to thank Sid, because this is a great game without added gameplay and they just keep making it more fun and giving me more stuff to do.
