Civilization III is one on the best RTS games ever. I didn't like it at first but as soon as I gave it a chance I fell in love with it.

Graphics - 7.5
Game Play - 8.0
Controls - 8.5
Variety in playable characters - 10

I love how you can play from Cleopatra to Caesar to even President Lincoln of the united states. This game is Great, I highly recommend it.

I also recommend, in the RTS - (Real Time Strategy), category.

I like all of the new features of conquests, but the best one is the new senarios that come with the game. Not only does this put you in some exceptionally challenging situations (IE Fall of Rome, ouch), but also the senarios have tailor made tech trees that fit in with the theme for the senario. Add in special senario only wonders, improvements and units, and this expansion will start sucking away you life like a really good computer game should. If you liked the original CIV III, then you will not be disappointed with this expansion.

I've been a Civ gamer since as long as I can remember. I have every Civ game made so ive got quite a bit of experience. This game is great. I heartily recommend It to anyone who likes strategy games. Im going to preorder this soon(I havent already) But I know that It will better than any Civ to date.

Amazon needs to decide to support the Military or not

My husband and I are stationed overseas and he was interested in purchasing Civ3 expansion. Of course our lovely BX does not carry it and doesn't know when or if it will have more later. I decided to purchase it from Amazon and was told it is only available in the US. I asked customer service and they told me over half of their products that they sell are unable to be shipped overseas. Military addresses have certain rules about some items but this item is not one of them. They told me that they do have other software that is available to ship. How dumb is that?!

A great, classic game series has joined GTA in the moral sewer.
I hope everyone will demand a replacement without this.
If murder - even fantasy murder - can win a game, that game is not fit to sell.
In contrast, Civ III had reached new moral heights for the series by capturing workers rather than executing them like many other games.
I was a real fan since the original CIV.
I never admired any nation that practised mass murder; why do they think any civilization would? Please keep this out of the reach of children.

Even though I have never played civ 3 con... it sounds like a good game. I tried to buy this game at a store but they run out,so I have to take my trust into amazon.However I took a look at the game and if your a civ fan then this is the game for you.

CIV rules! Civ 4 is even better, but this game Rocks!

I love all of the Civ games! They are addicting, but what a deep great strategy game. It's a modern version of chess but WAAAYYY deeper. The turnbase gameplay makes this the best game ever made for PC.
