My whole family is addicted. We have competitions to see who gets a higher score. I think it's great for building listening, focusing and memory skills in kids.

Unlike most reviews here, I actually think that there's more activities than necessary. I did get all gold medals immediately. To get all 45 platinum medals took some doing, though. What I noticed is that as my score breaks 2000g, things at real-life starts to slow down, which means my brain actually works faster. I had continuous improvements up to about 6 weeks, which then maxed out, and only little dribbling improvements now and then. What amazes me is that every time I broke a new record, I actually thought that I wouldn't because it's too easy! Obviously, the brain does improve, even if you're an adult. I imagine a child would have been improving all the way to adulthood. My weight is 2083g, btw, which is a great improvement from 1444g.

I thought I would get bored by the music, but I didn't. Also, I noticed a lot of little touches on the user interface. I don't think it's perfect, but pretty darn near it. For example, you can quickly retry missed attempt without going through the chatter by quickly hitting the retry button before the dialog starts. Once the dialog starts, then you have to go through them.

It actually replaces Chessmaster on my DS, and there it stays, over-riding even Metroid Prime and Naruto Ninja Council 3. Big Brain is a great brain training that is fun and effective. Try getting the DS version as it is more portable and useful more than the Wii version, IMHO.

I just picked up this game and I have yet to put it down so long as I am awake. Its vast array of short but oh so sweet minigames are too addictive to be educational, and yet they are. You cannot go wrong with this game so I encourage everyone who owns a DS to pick this game up, find a comfortable chair, and dive into the world that is Big Brain Academy.

My husband thinks this is a time wasting game, I thought this is great, I got to train my brain everyday bit by bit...hehe...improve myself. He doesn't like it because I've beat him with the test of brain weight. hahaha

My daughter thoroughly enjoys this game. It is fast paced and covers many different skills. She has found that it is also fun for her cousins - the boys are in their twenties!

Big Brain Academy is tons of fun! So fun that you forget that you're actually exercising your brain while you're playing.

My kids I all love to play this game. The games are addictive and it's fun to see what your "test" score is from one time to the next.

This is a great game for Nintendo DS. There are some terrific problem-solving activities and with the wireless connect, one can challenge a friend (or Mom and Dad!) to see who's got the brain power. I hope they hurry and come out with a Part 2.

This game is great fun to do by yourself and to share with your friends. The concepts are easier, but some are not that simple to master.Worth the money.
