I totally regret buying this game. I bought it thinking it'd be more like Brainage and even got to play the demo of it but it was totally not what I expected when I got the real game. I'm totally disappointed bcuz there's not a lot of mind games and I'm sure everyone scores about the same and the way they score you makes you feel like your stupid. I should of just waited til' I found a store that carried Brainage instead. That game scores you by the age of your brain not by the weight of your brain. Totally not worth your money. If you really wanna play this rent it from BlockBuster or something cuz you'll get tired of it real quick !!! I know I did. (T~T)

This is a very nice way to educate your kids and have them implement what they've learned at school(adults too)

Although this was a gift for our grandson, my daughter says the whole family has been playing it along with other families. They really love it!

This is a great game. But according to it, I'm as dumb as dirt! My son loved to point that out. By using it often, I have improved from dirt to a rock. I guess I haven't played enough yet.

Different set of games, can get repetitive.

First, let me start off by saying that it's great to see another adult game for the Nintendo DS. I got this particular game as a Christmas gift after I bought Brain Age and liked it so much. In comparison to Brain Age, I personally think that Brain Age is more efficient but Big Brain Academy certainly stands on its own.

So what's this game about? The title of the game pretty much explains it all. This is a game that tests your brain. There are 15 different games you can play in 4 different categories (math, logic, memory, and analysis). Once you complete the easy level for each game, you can go to the intermediate level, and then to the hard level.

So what's to like about this game? The games are fun! Some games are great for your brain but are completely fun so you forget that these games are good for you. The games include counting money, figuring out which character weighs more, and traditional memory games.

Another positive is that you use your stylus for more than just tapping the screen. Yes, the majority of the games have you choosing the correct answer between two screens by tapping the right one but some games have you drawing and connecting lines.

And what's not to like? It can get repetitive really quickly. I don't play this game too often because the cute characters as well as the lack of games to play (after you beat the hard levels on each game, the only thing left to do is attempt to beat your score).

Bottom line, if you're trying to choose between this game and Brain Age, I'd go for Brain Age simply because it seems to be more efficient as well as more adult-themed. However, Big Brain Academy is a great game that tickles your brain and I would buy it again if I had to.

I bought this game for my 9 year old son. He just got it for his birthday. He is not very good at it. It holds his attention for some time, although it is still new to him. I love the game. I think it is one of the best games for the DS. Some of the puzzles are a bit tougher than others.

VERY ADDICTIVE

I love this game. I find it very refreshing and help waste time at airports or waiting long periods, think DMV. I feel I topped out at a level and had trouble topping my grade. I think the games are fun and interesting. I also recommend Brain Age, Brain age 2 and Flash Focus,
