Fun Game

This game was pretty easy, although it did take me a month and a half to beat it though. The good things about the game is the two player. Another good thing is the variety of weapons and items you can choose from. Plus the night vision goggles are pretty good, and the map was pretty easy to read. Now to the bad things. The graphics are horrible. You move around so weird, and when you shoot an enemy you don't even have to be close. As long as your a few feet from them. Enemy AI was horrible. When they shot at you they didn't even move. I recommend you rent this game first, and then if you like it then buy it.

Spec Ops :Operation Fun.

Of all the war games me and my sons have played. This was by far the one of the most fun, I loved how the enemy soldiers were programmed to respond to noises and attacks, very realistic. No matter how many times we played a level trying to get off, it never got dull because the enemies didn,t respond always the same. It was very fun making mistakes,like accidentally throwing grenades at my partner or setting explosives to close and for getting to tell my partner. The only disapointment was not enough levels, but for the price this game was well worth it.

SPEC OPS IS A TOTALY, EXTREMELY COOL GAME. IT ALSO HAS WAY BETTER GRAPHICS THEN THE OTHER GUN GAMES I HAVE PLAYED NAMELY DIE HARD TRILOGY 2, SYPHON FILTER 2,ETC. I HAVE ALSO RECOMENDED THIS GAME TO A COUPLE OF FRIENDS OF MINE AND WHEN WE ALL GO TO AUSTRALIA THEY ARE GONNA GET IT. I THINK THIS GAME IS THE BEST AND YOU SHOULD GET SPEC OPS IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE TO.

Not even worth getting paid to play this game.

I bought this game used for $10.00 a year ago and I wish I would have bought a six pack instead. This game is not user friendly and the controls are a joke. My son who is easy to make happy when it comes to video games said "Dad where you drunk when you bought this game". This is comming from and 8 year old. The graphics [are bad] and everyone I talked to that owns this game said they played it for and hour and haven't played it since. You couldn't pay me to play this game. If you are planning on renting or buying this game dont waste your time or money.

This game is absolutley HIDEOUS. It has terrible graphics which gets even worse (IF POSSIBLE? ) by its sickening framerates. With about 2 soldiers on screen there is a great chance of a slowdown. Is this game some kind of a joke? This game is so horrendous its funny. The gameplay is definitley the worst I have ever seen. Without a doubt the most frustrating game on any video game console. I got so mad I cracked the disk in half and threw it away..This game is just plain EMBARRASING to own. The sound is just average- nothing special here- probaly the best part of the game. And for those of you who think this game is BETTER THEN METAL GEAR SOLID? ARE YOU NUTS? Metal Gear Solid is one of the best games on PlayStation and compares no where to this piece of junk .... bargain. DONT BE FOOLED, despite its cheap price this game is not worth buying.

Expect maybe if you want to use the CD as a coaster....

I AM A HUGE FAN OF CLANDESTINE OP TYPE GAMES (METAL GEAR SOLID, SYPHON FILTER 1&2, CHASE THE EXPRESS [OR COVERT OPS: NUCLEAR DAWN IN THE STATES]ALSO A GOOD BUY) AND THIS ONE MADE ME DOUBTFUL ESPECIALLY DUE TO THE LOW PRICE. I WAS THINKING THAT THIS WAS ANOTHER RAINBOW SIX CLONE,YOU KNOW GOOD ON PAPER BUT BUT TERRIBLE ON THE PLAYSTATION. BUT, WHEN YOU SWITCH TO THE 3RD PERSON MODE AND START TO SCOUT THE TERRAIN WITH NVG'S AND SWITCH 1ST PERSON VIEW TO SNIPE ENEMIES WITH THE SILENCED MP5, BELIEVE ME COMING FROM A SERVICE MEMBER THAT'S BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT ITS VERY CLOSE TO THE REAL THING. THE FEEL, JUST YOU AND YOUR BUDDY, MANY KLICKS BEHIND THE LINES, YOU MAKE THE CALL! CAN YOU HACK IT? SPEND THE CASH AND FIND OUT!

One time I went to Wal-Mart and I saw one of them there games of yours and I saw it was for sale at ten dollars and that there. It was Specops stealth patrol and I bought it thinking it was a good bargain. Needless to say it is a horible game with long loading time really bad graphics I could not see the bad guys my eyes were open. The main menu was low tech and the soldiers disguisedly grunted like pigs. At eb they said they would only give me 4 bucks and that there.

O.K., here's the thing. I look over and I see this game. I see the price and I think, "It might suck, but for the money, it's worth the gamble." I get home, play the thing and realize that I have made a wise investment. The style of play is similar to that of Syphon Filter and Metal Gear Solid, but the overall game experience is like no other. This one makes you use your head a little. You can't just bust in John Wayne style and open the can of whoop-ass. No, you gotta be pretty sneaky. You gotta see the enemy before he sees you. Great game, great price! And that's the bottom line!

For ..., give it a chance!

Let me start by saying, if this game was the normal ..., I'd be giving this game 1 star...but it was a fraction of that price, which means I did not expect the next Medal of Honor, and I didn't get it anyway.

In the game, you are a Ranger in the United States Army. As far as I know, you get a second player in every level, but I haven't beaten it yet, so who knows?! This game is very hard! But I liked how you can play co-op with a friend...that option wasn't even in MOH.

The levels are okay, but nothing great. I must admit that they weren't even that fun, but for 10 bucks, they're fun enough. The sound of the guns is just terrible! It sounds like you're shooting a paintball gun into a can so it muffles itself. The voice-acting is rare and not very good, but at least they talk, which is better than reading the lines on the screen.

Now, for those of you who are having a tough time beating this game--and I am one of them--I got some ideas to help you get playing again, because it probably sat on your shelf for a long time...and still might be there. If you go to a one player game and type in 'ROCKSTAR' as you're name, there is an invulnerability option when you press start within the level. Also, I read the the programmers mixed up the difficulty level. So if you pick the hardest one, you'll be facing the easiest adversaries, and vice-versa. Hope that helps you a little in your quest to beat the game.

But just remember: it's only .... If you're looking for the next Goldeneye or Perfect Dark, or even Medal of Honor, you'll be sadly disappointed. Go in expecting it to be the worst game ever made, and you'll enjoy it enough to play it.

This game is crummy. Very little fun, and it has a number of flaws. I bought this game dirt cheap, and it wasn't worth even the low price I paid. Buy something else.
