I was a fan of the Spec Ops games on the computer, but I think they don't cut it on either the PS or DC. I will admit it only 10 bucks, so your not throwing away a full price for the game. Even on the easiest setting, I found the game very difficult, nearly immpossible. I did however like playin the co-op with my brother, yelling at him to flank or take up a snipers position. My final verdict, fun for the price, but nothing near the computer.

Good graphics, VERY Difficult, and CHEAP

This game is just about impossible to beat! On easy mode I can almost win the first level. Sometime there is no enemy anywhere but something shoots at you and you die. There are though 4 good things about the game: pretty good graphics, good sound, 2 player capability, and cheap.

But if you want a hard AND I MEAN HARD! game, get this.

Amazing,truly amazing

This game isn't just one of those games you beat in two days. This is a game that shows what is must be like to be a real marine. It has sweet graphics which I would rate 9/10. It has 10/10 control.Awesome backround music and sounds. However,it is very, very, very hard.It takes at least a whole day to beat the first level.I suggest going to a code site and getting codes to this game.Like try Gamesages.com.Overall this game scores a large 9/10.I would buy this game if you like different challenges.

For (this price)!

It's a pretty good game, (for the price). Iwas in the infantry and it brings back good old memories. Plus the game is hard so you can not win so easily. I own medal of honor and it took me about 3 days to beat, and I hardly replay it. I still haven't beaten spec ops, and I always replay it over and over. The enemy has not yet acted the same way as in other games. If you want a good game that will last you for awhile, this is worth it.

Don't bother

Do not waste your money or your time. Thought to myself it wasonly ..., even if it ... I still wouldn't be out that much. Well I got the game, threw it in the P/S, watched the cheesy intro(with the most horrible sounding vocals I have ever heard, kinda like talking into a coke can), started up the 1 player mode and started picking my rangers. Ok, at this point, not what I expected, but for ..., didn't expect much. So I pick my first ranger, go to the inventory, and start picking my weapons. First point: If you know anything about military weaponry, you'll know that most of the guns have only a slight resemblence to the real thing(yes I understand that it's a video game, but if the packaging claims to be so realistic, then that's what I expect) So at this point I'm slightly disappointed, but with the hope that it'll get better. Pick my second ranger, start the mission, and that's when I realize only ... or not, this is a game that should've stayed in the designers imaginations. But figuring since I've made it this far, might as well press on. So I get going, only to realize the mission objective is more vague than anyone could imagine and the graphics are a reminder of my original nintendo days. But I finally figure out the point, only to realize it's not difficult, but just annoyingly confusing. Not like a puzzle that I just can't figure out and get mad, more like I just don't want to waste my time. If you want a military game, buy rainbow six. Well to the point, don't let the price fool you. Even for that it's a waste of money.

A great game. That's it. I love to play action games and my faves are Metasl Gear solid and the Syphon filter series, and this game ranks right up with them. Although it isn't AS good as those it's still a good game and can have you sitting in front of your Playstation for hours

Spec Ops: Stealth Patrol puts you in the life of a ranger. This proves to be quite the task. The first level turns out to be amazingly hard with enemies running around EVERYWHERE and almost no medi-packs at your disposal. The solution? Call a friend and beat the game in two-player mode. It turns out that it's a really, really fun game! Kneeling and laying on your stomach become your best friend when dodging enemy fire. Learning to search around the area and sneaking up on soldiers shows that medi-packs are equaly spread throughout levels. Choose your men wisely, as some missions need someone that can use a scope to take out those irresistible mines. The graphics, sound, and game mechanics are really great for only [the price]. The only drawback I have is that when you're calling your buddy to follow you, he can get hung up on things like trees or cliffs -and- the game could go much smoother without mines on every inch of ground. Overall, your ... bucks couldn't go to better use. Nothing feels better than seeing an Iraqi through your scope, or watching the little red sights appear on a Viet-Kong.

Unless you have supernatural powers to rival those of your enemies or like to lose, don't waste your time on the game. This shouldn't be called Stealth Patrol, there's no stealth involved.

All those sick of sword/fantasy, dungeons and dragons, space aliens and zombies rejoice! A realistic game for you is now available. Spec Ops delivers alot for it's small price. The game has single player and two player cooperative modes. You select the weapons, explosives and other gear (1st aid, night vision, GPS, Willy Pete ect..) for your two Rangers, each Ranger has a weight bearing capcity so you must select your gear based on the mission. The weapons are great, Heckler Koch Mp5, M-16, M-60, Sniper Rifle, M-203, Ithaca 12 Gauge and much more. The senarios are hard. You have time limits to accomplish things like destroying a shot down Stealth Fighter, wiping out enemy concentrations, destroying enemy comunications and blowing up enemy supply columns. If you liked Armymen 3D this is up your alley. Good sound effects especially if you turn the music off. It takes a little time to learn the controls but once you do the action is good. You are able to assign your "wingman" Ranger to follow you, to attack, or to simply defend. The load times are slow but for ten bucks who cares! I hope that PX2 has a game similar to this. I am tired of killing E.T. , I like running through the woods and blasting realistic looking badguys. Anyone who was disapointed with the two player mode of Armymen World At War (where a .50 cal slug only wounds) will appreciate the realistic damage that the different weapons here cause. This is a good buy.
