Thousand Arms is a must buy for Playstation owners.

Thousand Arms is in my opinion the best RPG to date on the Playstation console. It has a light spirit but a deep plot. This game is filled with subtle jokes. It will keep you and your friends playing for the entire weekend. (Forget about that homework!) Thousand Arms is not that difficult but it will certainly challenge in some areas.

The only complaint that I have about this game is the random battle system. Although almost every RPG has this I wish they would do something new. For example when in a certain dungeon while trying to explore one will keep on continually running into random monsters. This gets very repetetive.

The graphics are excelent with some of the best anime every seen on the playstation. This game actually has voice acting although Metal Gear Solid still beats it in this area. This is the only game I have seen on the Playstation where the graphics do not continually shimmer and a another small thing I noticed is that this is the first time a game has actaully done trees right!

All in all Thousand Arms is a great game for anyone!

....Whoa.

LOVED it! It's too bad the Final Fantasy series is ALWAYS in the spotlight. It's good, but not that good. FF8 is VERY BORING. It only got 5 stars cuz people tend to go along with everyone else. Thousand Arms has personality, and much more humor than most other RPGs. Unlike the Final Fantasy series, the characters actually speak rather than only reading text. The voices are excellent as well, not to mention. It's my 2nd favorite RPG(since I love RPG's, that'd make it my favorite of all) of all time. ^_^ Very uniqe, very fun, impressive animation. Watcha waiting for? GET IT! And by the way, video game corporations are watching this. The more people that buy it, the more anime games they'll release. --- Favorites: Lunar SSSC Thousand Arms Final Fantasy 7

I know this wont help much, but I thought this was such a fun game, that I would let everyone know! I just couldnt stop playing it. My husband and I had a lot of fun with the dating part, amazingly I messed up more than he did. and the graphics! wow! I want more! I wish it didnt end. see, not much help eh?

Thousand Arms is one of the best RPGs available on the PSX. The characters are engaging, the storyline is deep, and the dialogue is especially witty. The dating simulations are sweet as well as hilarious. The only downfalls are the frequent battles and the fact that, although Thousand Arms is fairly long, it's a lot easier to beat than most RPGs on the PSX.

A videogame for the playas.... =P

The ONLY weak link in this game is the battle system. As a Japanese RPG, it is a very tight package. Plot, storyline, character development, character interaction graphics (dated, but the FMV rivals Square) and the voice acting (perfectly cheesy) is all first rate. The gameplay is excellent and the dating sim more fun than I possibly imagined, and quite possibly this is the funniest game I ever played. I wish the genre was more popular in America.

As I said the battle system is the only weak link. It takes place in 2D, similar to a 2D fighter. The monsters are on the left, your 3 characters on the right. Only your front character can actually fight. The two in the back can only cast support spells, but this battle design makes the battles pretty easy. I don't think I died one time. Nonetheless the rest of the game makes up for this shortcoming. Come on Atlus! Where's the sequel?!?

This game is beyond amazing. The graphics are wonderful, the plot is interesting, and all of this without the ease. This is one of the hardest games I've played in my life, but it's still realistic, and it's hilariously funny. I wouldn't suggest this game to someone who isn't a dedicated gamer...it's tough and takes a lot of patience. The only thing I object to is the dating part of the game- it's not as realistic as the rest. If you give a girl a comb she's not going to say "Oh my gosh! I've ALWAYS wanted this!" as does some of the girls in Thousand Arms. But the thing I love the most is you can really get into this game...feel the emotions of the characters and make you want to kick the bad-guy into outer space. Give this game thought, and if you're not sure, rent it. It's worth the chance and the money!

An Awesome Game For Any RPG Fans!

this game is so awesome! most people think that it's sexist due to the usage of women to gain power, but on the contrary, it's not that bad. i think that the game teaches one to respect women. in fact, it also gives you a view on what true love means. the special skills are not that bad either. almost everthing is linked to humor and it adds a light-hearted feeling (something that rpg games need to include more often). all in all, this game is really good!
