Ultimate Disappointment

You can only play with 25 characters, they are missing alot of characters hulk, punisher, beast, nightcrawler etc. (and I have all char's). Frustrating camera angles along with ultra devestating gameplay and control issues. For beginners there's going to be alot of confusion. The story is very weak, and the graphics could be better then they are, they used xbox's graphics engine (lame). AI is unbearable because unused characters get in the way and take all your kills. In-game Bugs are out of control, level design is horrible and no variety and very repetitive. This game try's to be so much like City of Heroes but fails miserably.
If this game would of been designed and created like the two other spider-man games (ps2,xbox) it would have been perfect!

Bad Video Game

You get four Marvel comics heroes to fight at once with Nick Fury being the boss. Other characters get unlocked and you can keep switching which characters are fighting during the game. You get experience points a la D & D and get better character skills unlocked. So far I have beat the first two boards when I rented it, but it's too confusing for what could've been a great role playing game. The bosses are too easy to beat and nothing else puts up much of a challlenge, especially at early boards.

A Must For Marvel Fans!

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance is a dream come true for fans of the Marvel universe. You get to choose from a number of famous and infamous characters to play in the game. From Spider-Man to Deadpool, this game is great when it comes to selection of characters. The graphics are great and doesn't look like a cartoon as the previous two X-Men Legend games have looked. There are so many characters, you will run into about five or six famous character with each level. There are a couple of flaws. One being that the camera occasionally isn't in the best position and the other being that the music is louder than the voices and it is sometimes hard to hear what the characters are saying. But overall, this is still a very fun game if you love Marvel.

This game is incredible. From the number of playable characters to the gorgeous cutscenes, this game is right in every way. Although the in-game graphics aren't as good as they could have been, the cinematics are a step up from anything I've seen. The gameplay may seem just to be hack and slash, but its formula works. INCREDIBLE!!!

I can't stop playing! Even though it is repetitive, each level manages to reinvent the game just enough to keep me playing. Great for when you just want to shoot things up.

Far from my expectations

I believe the graphics are not even near of what the XBox 360 can really do. The overal gameplay experience is actually bad.

The whole game consists in punching the stupid fellows that appear on your way while you scan a facility or building to fullfil an objective.

In the last scene I played I faced dragon boss which seemed to be taken out of my old Super Nintendo.

Alright.

I would have to say I'm not mad I purchased this game, but I'm okay with it. It has alot of things to do and it really works my brain. x.x;; But all in all it's a good game I suppose.

the idea of this game is great. the graphics are great. it's just not the type of game that has you sitting down and playing it 3 hours straight. it gets boring. it has all of these great heroes in it, which they could use to make a game that you can actually just play that person and have lots of fun. just save your money to buy something that is not so boring after 3 hours. one of the halo games maybe or something like that.

Feels more like a Dungeons & Dragon game. No close up shots, always zoomed out. But overall it's a pretty good game, not great.
