I absolutley hate this game. My younger sister got a GBA with it for christmas, ever since then, I was more annoyed than a policeman seeing someone break the law. Terrible music, terrible storyline etc................ I find this 110 times more annoying than "BMX XXX" on x-box, or even "Grand theft auto: vice city" on PS2.
GOOD PARTS: There is a fox that steals things from dora in it!
BAD PARTS: Just about everything else, without exception
OVERALL: Which "game based on a cartoon" should you get? This or "hey arnold: the movie" ? Easy: "cubix robots for everyone: clash 'n' bash"

I purchased this game and the gameboy 99 in one cartridge for my small child and they are great. The games are easy enough to play without them feeling like they are "babies"...they give enough of a challenger...I would purchase it again.

When I was looking at the ratings for this game I saw that it had been awarded only 3 starts by reviewers. I almost clicked out but then decided to read the reviews (which were stellar). It seems that some of the people who raved about the game did not enter a star score (all stars blank). The summary star rating should probably be much higher. I would imagine that the producers of this game might be upset.

My 3 1/2 year old daughter is a big Dora fan but I thought she would have a bit of trouble with this one. Not the case at all. She can get through the first few levels no problem now though the later ones can be tough. I'm sure she will get it eventually. Recommend the game for anyone with little kids as there aren't may other games for this age group.

My mom bought this game for my 5 year old son for XMAS. He's new to the video games. This is an absolute must have for any Dora fan and any beginners. The levels are easy at first, but they do become more challenging. I enjoy playing it myself.

Very funny game. Your children will spend a lot of happy time with Dora and Boots. The swiper and the possibility to use the backpack add a lot of fun to the game. This is one of the beat GBA game I had see this year !

This game was one I was dying to try. I like Dora The Explorer & I am 22 yrs old. My little 3 year old cousin is the one who got me to like it. I would watch it with her. My cousin has this game & I only have 3-4 more levels and I will have the game beaten. I still want to buy it though. Although, I can play with her's until I do.
There was one part with the snake that I was stuck on for about five minutes. You, think oh this is a kid's game & it will be super easy. Wrong...think again. Some worlds have bats & snakes that are hard to get around.
Overall, I would give this GBA game 5 star's.

We got this game for my 5 year old daughter. She hasn't put it down since Christmas. She loves the game. I think it is challenging enough for her with the jumping and so forth. The only downfall, because it is geared for younger children, is that the story should be spoken out loud instead of the words being there and if they don't know how to read, they don't know what they are saying. Other than that, my daughter loves it so it was a good buy!
