Sims pack is a must

the Sims is a great game, and you'll have hours of addictive fun. It seems like they think of everything! The livin' large expansion pack offers you better features and new items. If you end up getting addicted to The Sims, the expansion pack would be a great value.

One of the best expansion packs made!!

Wow. This expansion is simply amazing. The sims alone is a great game but this expanision pack adds dementions you couldn't even imagine. New furnature, backgrounds, and improved game play. Definatly a must have for the Sims fanatic!!

The Sims Livin' Large is a very well thought out expansion pack but its nothing special. The new items are very imaginative but not very interesting. the new jobs are very good ideas but they are pretty mediocre once you advance. The new nieghbourhoods are usfull but are all identical in setting. Maxis could have put alot more time into this expansion pack and i would have been great. But dont get me wrong its a good expansion pack just could be better. The Sims is amazing without it so dont go spending $30 or so, wait for the price to shrink to about $20.

I was happy to hear that Maxis was coming out with an add on so I preordered it. I love it!! It soo much fun!! The colors are great and the people are fun. I love all the new jobs and the new wall paper. I think that MAxis did a great job and the people that dont like it have issues. It is totally worth the thirty dollers!

A good expansion

It's got some new stuff to put in your game; new wallpapers, beds, electronics, paintings, surfaces, lights, toilets, etc. There are some new careers and even a clown that brings sadness to your Sim. You also have a robot that can be your housemaid if you've got lots of money to spend on buying one. This is a good expansion pack if you're really really into the game. I wouldn't recommend it if you're just an occasional player, who doesn't use as much as they want for their houses.

The Sims: Livin' Large and Livin' Better!!!!

I didn't think that it was possible to make The Sims any better then it already was, but with the release of Livin' Large, I was proven wrong! This expansion pack has made the game 100% better then it was (if you can believe that!) and even more fun to play. Not only are there tons of new items, new scenerios and new decorating styles, but now there are FOUR new neighborhoods, to give you a total of 50 houses you can build! The possibilities are endless! Trust me, if you loved the original Sims, you will ADORE Livin' Large!!! I have been an avid lover of the Sims games (Sim City 1, 2000 and 3000, Sim Tower, Sim Farm, etc...) for many years, and now I am anxiously awaiting the release of Sim Town!!!

This is way too much fun

Let me warn you now, if you buy this game, you will spend all day long playing it! All night! Sleep, what's that? Meals? Well, just like your Sim families, you will have to remind yourself to do the daily necessities and eat and sleep and all that, because you will become addicted to this game! The additional neighborhoods are great fun, the genie lamp is wonderful, and the sad clown? Well, let me just tell you now that there is a download for that online so that the clown will go away...

I love this game!

I bought the original "The Sims" game a while back now, and I loved it then. When "Livin' Large" was released, I figured I had gotten enough of a kick out of the first one to get the expansion, although I am not a fan of expansion packs. I was blown away by the amount of stuff added in LL. There were double the amount of objects, numerous more walls and floors, more skins, and so many other things! "The Sims" is one of the best computer games to come out in years because it breaks away from the Simulation game genre in that you can control one specific family and track their actions, not an entire city. It is a lot of fun, and you can experiment with your Sims. Do what you want to them...make a long game, or a short one. Seeing the Grim Reaper is always interesting.

Here's some suggestions if you are a Sims fan. First, "House Party" is being released, so you might want to get that, too. There are hundreds of Sims fansites out there, so try some of them. ... and get to fansites. You will find numerous excellent fansites where you can find downloads for your game. New skins make the game a lot more fun. You could find celebrities, men in uniform, whatever floats your boat. Also, try ..., with a great skin database. All around, "The Sims" is worth the money, so go get it today!

The Sims has become even more addictive ! ! !

When I first got the SIMS (public service warning to anyone who missed the fine print : This is an add-on to The Sims... you have to get the Sims first to play it) I thought it would be like all the other video cames I've gotten in the past... you know, once you get to know it, kinda cool and fun, a bit addictive for a while then after a while, it just becomes a thing of the past... Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz... boring... ho ho ho was I mistaken.

Much to my surprize (and everyone else in the household) over a half a year later, the game, with all its cuteness, quirks, and Sims-isms has a cult like grip over all of us. Still, I'm sure every user has his or her "fantasy" add on. (I wish the Sims could actually stroll around the neighborhood, ring doorbells and wreak mischief) - - SIMS Livin' Large might not be THAT dream add-on or all the dream add-ons you've ever had (errrr... the unofficial nude x-rated add ons can be downloaded via the net) however, it does add a second wind to the game and makes it like new all over again. One thing I like in particular is that instead of having just one neighborhood, you now get five, so you don't have to worry about greedy household members (real world that is, not the game) taking up the entire neighborhood and messing with your houses. Then of course are the scenarios that you've probably read about.... be careful about the vibrating bed though. We turned it on, hit "play" our sims got nek'ed, messed around under the covers (don't worry, there's a mosaic) and next thing we know they wound up with a baby (I'm not kidding.) Well, this is a reality based game !

It'll be months I'm sure before I can really experience and review all the new scenarios, but all I can say is that if you've had THE SIMS for a while and are ready for some more surprizes, this is a must have for the true SIMS-A-HAULIC - - and the price is definitely right. (When was the last time you flipped out 29 bucks and got a year full of entertainment ?)

Really Cool Game

Livin' Large is really cool, but not enough for 5 stars! Now don't get me wrong there are some awesome new objects in this pack but there could have been a lot better ones! Some of the objects are just stupid! But the new bed only is worth the pack. And for later game play you would need to get this pack to "Complete the set"
