OMG! This game rules! I'm amazed by how many people don't have it! Come on people it rox! You can play it forever! I made me and my man, my family, my grandparents! EVEN MY FRIENDS! Note to the parents: This game is fun and entertaining for pre-teens and teens from ages 11-adult. WARNING: MUST HAVE REGULAR, "THE SIMS" TO PLAY!

VERY ADDICTIVE

I made the mistake of buying the Sims the first week of the school year. For the first week or so, all my free time was spent with this game. I recommend if you have something important to do, a term paper, legal work, or exam, wait until you get that done to buy the game. Then you can just dive right on in... cause you can't resist the power of the Sims. Well, I got back into reality until the expansion pack came out. It added so much to an already GREAT game. The new skins and furniture are awesome, and the new characters (the Genie who grants your wishes is my favorite) and activities (the chemistry set is great) are totally worth it. I can't wait until "House Party" is released, see what else they can think of.

Get this expansion set!!

If you've bought "The Sims," you have got to get this expansion pack. Adding this to the Sims will totally enhance your gaming experience. You'll get new neighborhoods, so you (should) never run out of places to create your world. You'll also receive new skins to make your people look more creative. Not to forget all of the new items you'll get. Such as new lights, crystal ball, chemical set (makes cool stuff happen to your Sims), new apliances, and MANY more items. A definate plus is the new career paths! You can become a hacker, musician, journalist, and a few others I've forgotten. New events vs. just having a criminal come to your house. New arcitecture to enhance your home (wallpaper, floor tiles/carpet, etc....) New ways to make your skills enhance. A definate must if you have The Sims!!

Yay! More Sims

Initially I wasn't impressed when I installed the lastest Sims add-on. "Great, different colored couches". However, after half an hour of exploring I discovered some of the new items. You've got to admit that day-to-day life of Sims can get pretty dull, but the new items make it much more interesting. Robots! Chemistry lab! Genies! Cockroaches! and more! Overall "Livin' Large" is well worth it to buy.

Re-addiction

Livin' Large definitely reinstated my addiction. I've decided to buy the House Party today so I can get this Sims addiction under control again once and for all! I miss my husband, and ooh my aching back!

I think the added career tracks all pay a little less than the better career tracks in the old version do, though I'm not sure of this. There are many new objects, but never enough!!! As usual many of the new skins are so grotesque that I can't bring myself to handicap a Sim with some kind of outrageous or unattractive appearance that may make his life miserable!! The new decorating choices are enjoyable for the most part.

The new magical objects (genie lamp, crystal ball) have unexpected results, but the results are good often enough to warrant using them. There are so many new objects that I haven't tried them all yet.

The four new neighborhoods look identical to the first neighborhood in terms of geological features (the river, the waterfall), but there are more unoccupied spaces, and a couple of different established houses, occupied and unoccupied.

I think the hardest part for me right now is accumulating enough friends for career promotions, so I look forward to using the new House Party expansion pack as well.

Saba-doochee!!

Who Needs Reality?

If you thought the original Sims was addicting, get ready for rehab: this add-on will have you at the computer for hours. I had gotten a little bored with the objects in the original and was ready for more options on decorating, jobs, etc. Livin' Large has all that and more.

Want to live in a gothic, gloomy castle with candelabras, stone floors and walls, and suits of armor? You can get that here. Want a crazy, wacky pink house, with the tackiest furniture you can imagine and a big vibrating bed? Here it is. Just want some different things to decorate and amuse yourself with, like a chemistry set, a mini voodoo doll, a head floating in a jar, new paintings for the wall? It's all here, and much, much more.

If you own the Sims already, this is a must have. If you are planning on buying the Sims, fork out a little more money and get this as well. I'm helplessly hooked. You will be too.

Great improvements

This game had so many great improvements since the first one. There are new people, clothes, furniture, and more. This is a great game for anyone who likes to build houses, create families, etc.

I love the Sims I have played the Sims for hours at a time. You can create people, name them, Feed them, make them sleep, make them take a shower, learn and many other things. I would recomend buying both The Sims and then getting the extention pack and then you can go on the internet and download stuff. With the Sims extension pack you can make the sims do any thing from playing pool to falling in love. I would have rated this game a five star but after about 6 months it gets a little. But all in all I would buy this game.

This game seems to be like electronic pets--for adults. In the game, it's just like taking care of little toy electronic pets, but for more mature people. For example, feeding the sims, checking thier happiness, and even bladder control. That's why I LIKE this game so much! You can see though it has a lot more freedom, I guess myself and others like this game so much because we like to act as gods controlling our own little built world.

Awsome!

This is probably both Will Wrights, AND Electronic Arts best Sim-Game ever. I mean, talk about a genie, zombie, grim reaper, Tragic Clown, new skins, wallpapers, floors, lip couch, Boomerang Windows, voodoo doll, chemistry set, an evil (not to mention deadly) gerbil, and much, much more! All RIGHT!!
