Iron Storm is a Great game

IronStorm is a great game I bought it this weekend and have not stopped playing it. The graphics are impressive, sounds is good although the voice over at the beginning of the game is a little bit choppy. The game play is what makes this game great, the enemy AI is very good, the environments are done very well, and the storyline is interesting.

I had no problems running this game, I have not once had a crash while playing it like other reviewers stated. I am running windows ME, AMD Athlon 1.2G, 384MB of RAM, with a GeForce2 Ultra 64MB video card.

The Multiplayer looks great but there are not many servers to play on and I am on a 56K dialup, so I have only played it online once.

Overall if you liked SOF, SOF2, and MOHAA you will like this game.

Well thought out storyline

Finally a game that the story line was thought out. It was fantastic and the only problem with it was the start up and after the day long headache it was well worth the money(came very close to finding the trusty hammer to fix the problem). I didn't want the game to end when it did. Good butt kicking game!

If you are tired of WWII, then this is definatly a different feel. Not for the "run and gun" types, this requires some tactics and thought. And then some running and gunning!

I liked it enough, I played it through again later.

I have not tried the multiplayer mode, though.

Looks like Dreamcatcher hit a home run!

With all the junk Dramcatcher puts out, it finally looks like someone got fired! This game was entertaining challeging and alot of fun. I can only hope they get the message and continue on a new line of quality games and hopefully with less bugs.

I had to download the patch on their website (trivially easy), and then the game worked perfect. Its worth it.

The graphics are AMAZINGLY detailed. The cinemas are like something out of Saving Private Ryan. And the fun feels realistic. There's no laser cannon. But you get a sniper scope where you can zoom in on someone. You can hide places and wait to attack. Its a VERY well-made game. Kudos to the makers! And death match mode is GREAT! I highly recommend it.

I really like this game. It's actually the first, real alternate history first/third-player shooter ever. The graphics are wonderful, I just can't wait for the whole release! The demo is somewhat buggy, but they will surely fix them in the final one.

I have played many games...lots of World War 2 games and other FPS games. This game takes the cake of being the most unique game that I have Played. It's fun and enjoyable. But the graphics are not up to par with the newer games out like FEAR and Half Life 2 but I would still recommend that you try this game out.

Iron Storm is probably one of the most gross games I have ever played but also one of the most fun. The fact that when you toss a grenade at someone they blow up and thier limbs go flying splattering blood everywhere.I know war is terrible but this is just unreal. If your squimish this is not the game for you. I've also noticed in the first level if you shoot one of the soldiers they fire back and try and kill you but, if you kill the nurse or the cheifs no one cares, weird. The game has a lot of pluses too, for instance the guns abosisly have been made from a junk yard do to lack of resorces and all of the weapons are farely crude(Awsome). Another cool factor in the game is that you can sneek up on an enemy and kill them with your sabre with one hit. Bening in the treches most of the game is pretty scary when your first playing it, you could die just around the corner. The towns look fantastic graphic wise. AI is sort of a bust, for instance I was out of ammo and I just walked around the bad guy and killed him with my sabre. Other than that the game is lots of fun if your in to half-life and Quake kinds of games.

Great game, great fun!

I love this game. You may have more advanced graphics in other games, like in "Far Cry" or "Soldiers of Fortune", but this game has a distinctive, unique quality that sets it apart. You want to replay this action again and again, revisiting the different scenarios. And, if there is a compliment that every first person shooter games should aspire to, there are plenty of scenes that you feel you are truly part of and remember later on almost like they were your own real memories. I wish for a sequel and recommend this game to every fans!

Download the patch first! Pretty good but has flaws

First off, the goofy reviewers who panned this game because they could'nt get it to work should have downloaded the patch (software installation 101).

But, all that aside, this game has some good points and some bad points.

Good: The sniper weapon and missions where you get to use it. Poison gas is good for some laughs too (mu-hah-hah-hah-hah-hah!). The rapid fire grenade gun is pretty cool and the battle environments are large and offer plenty of hiding/attack places.

Bad: Missions not clearly defined and mission bugs. Like the one where you have to lay mines down to stop a tank; I wound up standing on top of it, throwing mines from the roof of the tank(??!!). Other wacky missions, fighting a guy in heavy armor with a bazooka....in a tunnel....and you are armed with a rifle (The game suddenly turns into Serious Sam. Sheesh!!)

The game has good points and bad points, but I'm still playing it.
