An awesome game sets new level of play

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 23 / 26

First of all this game DOES have multi-player. The multi player in this game is awesome there are up to 4 AI-bots you can add to face or play against you and you also control how strong they are such as health and accuracy. There are two teams in multi player, the good guys MI6 and the bad Phoenix. With that two teams can play in modes such as capture the flag, team arena, king of the hill, and protect modes where a team has to keep the other away from a satellite which is in there base so that the other team doesn't blow it up. Also add in mini helicopters and tanks which you can control and a weapon called Ronin which opens up into an auto machine gun. Also the levels you can play in are HUGE. So this is an awesome multi player game if that is what you want.

Now not to forget the 1 player mode which has a great story line. The levels include breaking into a castle to spy on a meeting, escaping on an armored snowmobile, driving the Vanquish, a submarine level where the vanquish turns into a sub, and a space level where you have to disarm huge missiles before they launch. Lots a cool gadgets can also be used.

Ok well this game has graphics that are almost unreal because they are so good. Tons of weapons such as explosives machine guns pistols bows, mines and sniper rifles and a laser gun. And also gadgets such as a watch laser which recharges itself a stunner, and other gadgets.

So to sum it up this is a truly awesome game and I highly recommend it. I hope this review was helpful.

The Bond for Next-Gen Systems!

007 Nightfire is the latest and greatest Bond adventure. In Nightfire you escape from a Tokyo skyscraper, ally with beautiful women, and even go a New Year's Eve sniping rampage from a helicopter along the streets of Paris. It's exotic missions like these that make Nightfire so pleasing to play, and it IS the best Bond game for G-Cube, X-Box, or the PS2. The storyline is thrilling and easy enough to follow, unlike some classic 007 films. The multiplayer modes are fun and there are many of them, although some are stupid like the Goldeneye Strike mode. This isn't really a problem if you just stick to modes like D-Match or Assault modes. The locales in MP mode are cool as well, with everything you'd expect from a James Bond game. You can play in Fort Knox to even having a shootout onboard Atlantis. These make MP especially awesome on the Nightfire adventure! Single Player can carry its weight alone. You will travel around from Tokyo to Paris to exotic jungles, even to the moon of all places! Another plus to SP is the fact that the driving sequences are back, and they look MUCH better than the ones in Agent Under Fire and they are MUCH more fun to play. The graphics are awesome, and now EA has incorporated some Squaresoft-like cinematic portions that make this adventure even more exciting! The controls are very smooth, and the game is a blast to play. It is also one of the few games that has a Single Player mode that is better than the superb multiplayer mode. This is the best Bond since Goldeneye on the N64(we've all played that)and it is way better than the last 007 game, Agent Under Fire. For any 007 fans out there, rejoice for there is a new, better, and totally out of control Bond game to satisfy your needs! My Rating-8.7!

007 Nightfire is out for all major platforms, in time for the latest Bond film. The graphics are stunning, gameplay is amazing. Well worthy of the series!

I'm a huge fan of the Bond games, and we have all of the previous ones. We got this one as soon as it came out, and were definitely not disappointed!

The graphics are a huge step up from previous versions. In the first 'training' mission, you're driving a car through city streets. The lights reflect off of the curves of the car, you can see inside to all of his controls and movements, the dents show up realistically, the back up lights glow softly, and if you bash it a bit, the trunk comes loose. The city around you has cobblestone streets, water rippling, streetlights that come down when you hit them. The attention to detail is just amazing!

As you then move on through the various levels, you see this same level of detail everywhere. From the Austrian castle and other alpine scenes, to the city scenes, watery scenes and more, each really shines.

The plot is very engaging and typically Bond. But in an attempt to show that this isn't about violence - he's a SPY after all, not a Rambo - you get bonus points for being stealthy instead of blasting in with guns, and for stunning or capturing enemies instead of killing them.

In fact, just about every area can be 'accomplished' in many ways. Bluster your way into an objective by a full frontal assault ... or sneak in the side way for extra points. Since you're also rewarded for your time and health, often the sneaky, non-violent way is the best.

You've got a huge array of equipment, weapons, armor and vehicles, and all work just the way you'd expect them to. I found the default controller configuration REALLY annoying, but a quicks stop in the config area got it back to the way I'm used to playing.

Plus, there's multiplayer! Play with up to four people at once on REALLY great maps with quite a bit of customization options on each one. Grab some bots for practice, and play arena, team arena, king of the hill, capture the flag, or other game types.

Definitely worthy of the Bond series, and highly, highly recommended to any first person shooter fan!

WOW ALL OVER.

James Bond HAS Returned!
FIRST OF ALL, let me clarify! THE GAME HAS A MULTIPLAYER!!! I have no idea why some do not think it does. You now can play with four customizable bot characters making over 8 characters available to interact with at once (4 computer, 4 human). There are tons of multiplayer levels and DOUBLE the players you can choose (even ones from newer movies like "Tomorrow Never Dies" and "The World Is Not Enough!"

Astounding game with flawless graphics (overwhelmingly impressive for PS2's normally jagged lines). The levels are about 2x as long as they were in Agent Under Fire and 2x better! There is so much more to do and explore and you can always follow more than just one path! Finally, a bond with more than a straight line to follow! The game even has its own computer-animated opening sequence and theme song like a normal BOND Movie! The characters are beautiful and very realistic with NEARLY PERFECT mouth movements when speaking. The game is also probably 2x harder. Not too hard that you get annoyed with playing the same level over and over again but hard enough that u don't go thru the game in one hour like in "Agent Under Fire." Overall, A COMPLETE SUCCESS! GET IT NOW!

Multi-Player Madness

I checked the reviews of this game and the write up from Amazon and could find nothing about a Multi-player mode. Well when I finally figured out that this game did have multi-player I ran out and bought it! I was sure glad I did, there are so many ways you can change the play... You can even take command of mini-helicopters and take out your opponents from the sky. Include that with the AI-Bots that allow you to compete all by yourself and you have one great improvement from Agent Under Fire. Congrats to EA for finally creating a Bond game that compares to Goldeneye! And did I mention that almost every multi-player level is HUGE? I don't want to neglect the single-player version, which is also very cool! Basically, if you enjoyed Agent Under Fire, this one just improves on everything!

One of the best FPS games this year.

This game has 12 different missions in all. All of the missions are fun to play and has plenty of action. You'll sneak around using your Q-Decryptor, laser watch, Q-Grapple and theres even an electrical stunner which is cleverly disguised as car keys. There are more gadgets to use, of course. You'll drive around a town and try to avoid cops while you race your way to the location where MI6 will pick you up because bad guys are chasing you. There are more cool places you'll be going.

Multi-player is also fun but the number of maps are very limited. The bots or the computer players are kind of dumb sometimes. Even if the maps are limited, the maps are very good. You'll fight in a deserted ski resort (you can use the cable cars!) , submarine pen and several other places. There are many characters to choose from too but you'll have to unlock them from single player mode first or you can just use the cheats.
You can use characters from the other Bond movies like Wai Lin (Tommorow Never Dies) or Christmas Jones (The World is Not Enough) The only bad thing about multi-player is that good guys can't fight each other in Multi-Player. So it can't be like Bond vs. Alura.

The score you get if mainly based on the Bond moves. Bond moves are... the name describes it self, ok? Ok, there are 3 ways into this castle. You want to get in there steathily. Go down the stairs and take the road to the castle and risk being spotted, shoot a guard below you and get spotted but gain a sniper rifle then take the road to the castle, or jump into the truck that happens to drive by. Yep, jump into that truck and you'll get more points added to your score which is likely to get you a prize if you do several other Bond moves and get a good score on the mission as well.

Nightfire has good replay value if you don't use the cheats. Aside from that one Multi-Player flaw (which isn't really that big) and sometimes dumb AI, and rare slowdowns in multi-player (only happened to me once and lasted for like 10 seconds), Nightfire is a great game and I highly reccomended that you buy it.

I played every single bond game including night fire, I have connections. The game includes a lot of different scenerios for the game and a wholoe new line up of new weapons. In this there is a lot more harder mission game play, which is really fun. It has a lot of realistic things to do in the mission that you have to figure out for your self though. I just got to play it for a liitle bit, maybe a few missions, but it is the best game of bond yet! This game definetly deserves 5 stars! You will enjoy this game.

Yo Im out,(;"]:>/:) peace

WOW! That's really all I have to say about NightFire. While Agent Under Fire was a good game in itself, NightFire is the master of all first-person shooters. They have added a mode to play multi-player against drones, increased the realism down to the last detail (i.e. if your shell casings land in the water they float slowly down) Here's my breakdown

Gameplay: ***** There are more interesting levels, and more of them. You can drive Bond's V12 Vanquish (which turns into a submarine) and play much better multi-player

Graphics: ***** The graphics have been upgraded and so has the realism

Replay ***** You can play yourself in multi-player which is a big improvement over the repetitive missions in Agent Under Fire

All in all, I would give this 100 stars if I could!!!

007:Nightfire, Bond is Back!

After playing and finishing James Bond 007: Nightfire .I was very impressed. The new story-line featuring Pierce Brosnan as James Bond really gives you the Bond feel and really adds realism not matched since Nintendo 64's legendary classic Golden Eye. 007: Nightfire easily is the best Bond game since Golden Eye After suffering disappoints from such bond games like The World is not Enough, Tomorrow Never Dies, and most recently Agent under Fire. However, Nigthfire breaks this losing streak. EA games have perfected the graphics and have enhanced the fun. During the game play you get wisecracks from `Q', and are equipped with some of his famous gadgets. Such as a micro-camera disguised as a cigar lighter, a regular suitcase that sports a Gatling-gun inside, and even a very cool flash-bang grenade disguised as a electric shaver. And a whole lot more. The sound of your weapons is also superb, with such classic Bond weapons as the Golden Gun, to silent Dart Guns, Sniper rifles, light machine guns and even Commando-style assault rifles. This game is not just a first-person shooter, you get to drive around in your awesome Aston Martin v12 Vanquish, too. This really adds a kind of fun aspect to the already impressive game-play. In addition, the glamorous, beautiful, and stunning Bond girls in the game are great. By adding such beauties as Dominique Paradis, Alura McCall, Zoe Nightshade, and the deadly `KiKo' Hayashi add a Bond charm feeling to the whole game. James Bond 007: Nightfire I feel is one of these gotta-have games. I was overwhelmed and found it hard to put down. I would defiantly add this to your Christmas list.

I've played all the James BOnd games that have ever come out, and this one by far, beats all of them, yes, even Goldeneye (IMO).
Yet while there are only 12 mission, there are 2x-3x larger then the levels in "Agent Under Fire". Plus, the missions are worth playing over again, because they're are many ways to solve the missions. The gameplay has definetely improved since "AUF". They have introduced new weapons and gadgets that look superb, and they brought back some old ones, and made 'em look 10x better!

Now for the Multiplayer! I can play this for hours, the levels are huge! u can get lost in some of them (literally). Plues there are remote controlled drones such as helicopters, tanks and snowmobiles! you can have up to 6 bots for a total of 10 ppl! (4ppl, 6 bots), many different styles of multiplayer to choose from too. And there are many characters too choose from, some fromn classic JB movies, some more recent, and all new ones(oddjob can throw his hat for an attack!)

All in all if i could i would give this game 10 out of 5 stars! This is definetely worth the mney, it is very enjoyable, and there are many feets to accomplish! Good Luck!
