Nearly Flawless Victory

First let me say that going in I was skeptical-as we all know Star Wars games have a bad (bad) history. Battlefront is a plesant exception. The game plays like many other massive multiplayer fag fests (think the millions of WWII games out right now for PC). You play as either the Empire, Republic (clones), Rebels, or Seperatists. The game is cool because it covers the whole Star Wars gambit (not just the new or classic Trilogy). The character classes are all pretty well done-I liked the jet pack troopers and the snipers. Graphics are great (though interestingly the smaller, indoor levels are a bit chuggy at times). That said, the HUGE outdoor levels (Hoth is amazing) are wonderful, amazingly detailed. Turrets, trenches and walkers populate the levels. Speaking of walkers, this is where Battlefront stumbles (and gets a star deducted from it's overall score). Vehicles in the game are both useless (starfighters have too low a flight ceiling, and flying too far out from the action makes your ship explode?) and/or too SLOW (the AT-AT, while cool looking, is a hardly used because it's faster to crawl to your target than it is to ride). That said, some of the vehicles are useful (AT-ST and the animal mounts are fast and manuverable, as is the Republic troop transport). Your fellow soliders are another problem I have with the game. They are stupid as hell. Worse, they tend to hog the ships to themselves (without really doing anything with them other than fly around in circles). Also, the commands you give them are hit or miss (too often only three soliders will listen to a "follow me" command). These gripes aside, the game is fun and a dream come true for Star Wars fans who've always wanted to slug it out in the trenches as a grunt in the Imperial army. Despite a few graphic problems and vehicles issues, the game is worthy of the Star Wars name-and your time.

Ths Game is awsome!!!! If some one asked me to rate this game on a scale of one to ten, I would give it a number much higher than just ten! The graphics are GREAT! And I think it is a great idea to make a Star Wars game where you can play in every episode! (except for episode 3) And it is a great idea to let the player play as The Empire OR The Rebels. It is also a good idea to let the player ride in (or on) any vehicle or animal possible!
Overall, I give this game the highets raiting imaginable.

this is an awesome game with a lot of features. Even if you eventually get sick of the gameplay (highly unlikely), there are unlockable features that have concept art, movie and game stills, and more. The only hard part of the game is learning the controls, but after a day or so, you'll get it. You can choose the difficulty of levels, so there is always a challenge. You can instruct your nearby soldiers to do a series of commands, and the game makes use of all the controls possible on the dualshock 2 controller. I give the game five stars for both fun and overall gameplay.

I rate this awesome, near perfect sweet hunbunn of a game 100 stars! Shootin' gungans, ewoks, rebels, geonosians, and wookiees! Like a breath o' fresh air! Play as: Dark Trooper, Sniper, Super Battle Droid, and Jet Trooper. Those are the best guys. Look at my review for Lord of the Rings The Third Age and I'll tell you to buy this, worth 10 rentals and $50.

Please show your "fanliness" and write an e-mail to Star Wars (e-mail found on lucasarts website) and ask (or beg if you wish) lucasarts&//lucasfilm to make more Star Wars movies, games, toys, and collectibles! If you didn't already, check out the Star Wars Battlefront 2 website at swbattlefront 2. The site gets updated often! Not that often though. Somewhere around 1 - 2/3 weeks for an update. ALSO, if your not into "shooter" games, also check out Star Wars Empire at War at the lucasarts website, games, pc section. Thank you for reading my review. Have you ever played Stars Wars Battlefront? Do you like shooting games? Then you will like this game this is the best game I ever played. Now listen to what I have to say.

My first point is that the video game has good charters. Video game has good charter because charter has awesome weapons. Also you can pick your own charter. There are four different teams to choice form.

My next point is good graphics. Video game has good graphics because of you can pick different places to fight. Now I am going tell you another point.

My third point is Big Environments. Video game has Big Environments because of a lot of spaces to go to. That was my last point.

I don't like star wars but I tried this game out. It was the best game I ever played. Overall this game is best game. This is a great game because of charters.

This video game is T for teens because of shooting dealing with other kind of weapons and violence. Parents should be caution about this game. Hey rent this game and check it out. I hope you like the game. I know you enjoy the game.

This game is really good, I should know I think I've had it over a year now and I still enjoy it. Mostly because of the AI(The battles are always different). But I Reccomend this game to any starwars fan or even those who don't really care for it.

All the other Star WArs games weren't that great so I thought that I'd just give up and not give the whole Star Wars games another try....Until I got Battlefront for my birthday. I loved it right away! The graphics are awsome and the best part is: you can fight in any of the movies (except episode 3) Overall, I give this game two thumbs WAY up!

Finally you can live the epic battles of the Star Wars films! Fantastic action, great vehicles, fighters and top-notch visuals and you have a game that every SW fan must have! Having ultimate choice is fantastic! You can be a stormtrooper gunning down rebels on Endor, a wookie on Kashyyk, a clone trooper on Geonosis or even a droideka on Naboo. Great stuff. I cannot say enough good things about this game. Not to mention the downloadable patches to add to the number of locales, like Jabba's palace. The instant action feature lets you drop right into the middle of the wars, or the option of Galactic Conquest is fun too, fighting alongside Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker. Brilliant! If you don't have this, buy it NOW! You WILL buy this game!
