I learned that you can't use the force, because I jumped out of my window and the force didn't save my bungholio, good thing i landed on my grandmom, and her big bungholio made my fall soft and cushiony!

I love this game! It is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo realistic!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean it's the best game i've played since Medal of Honor Allied Assult! Thumbs up for this game!

Star Wars Battlefront

This game is the most GETOLICIOUS game in the world. It's like grand theft auto all over again. Different gangs fighting one big battle. With the gangsta Luke and his father Vader. "Yo, Luke I'm joe fatha dawg". that was so cool in the movie. I bet all the guys who are under those helmets are geto.
Yoda's my home dawg. So u better watch out all u vader haters

Unless your very small or you like extremely repetitive gaming, this isnt for you. This practically one buttoned game can be fun with multiplayer and for the first few months. But after that its not worth it.

In virtually every game I have ever played, from the Atari 2600 onward, the player was at the center of attention. In this game, that is by no means the case. You will be one of approximately 200 players on the battlefield (which is a chaotic mess) with no special abilities (beyond being a pilot or sharpshooter, etc...). Depending slightly upon the settings, you can very well win a specific battle without ever leaving the safety of your bases. That should tell you just how important you (the player) is. I bought the game based upon it's rating here at Amazon and with the "Star Wars" name, but it is not to be compared with other games of the the same genre. RENT IT BEFORE YOU BUY IT!!!

I waited and waited for this game to come out, then ran to get it. Boy, was i dissapointed. Playing the game doesnt have that cinematic feel. You feel immersed, but with no control. There is no real evolution as such. Just a shoot em up. Thats it! Graphics are ok. I sold mine the same day. Am going to buy an XBOX with KOTR. Ive had it wating for ps2 to get some good star wars games together. Never gonna happen.......

The only purpose for this game is multi-player. And multi-player on consoles usually blow, so I'd suggest buying this game on the PC.

Other than that aspect, the single-player mode isn't bad. It's just plain fun. But it's plain repetitive. Every mission is the same: "Kill all the enemies to win," The only difference is that the difficulty increases each battle. I wouldn't recommend this game to purchase unless you're going to buy it on the PC.

Very fun and done.

This game is very very fun!!! Then you finish and it isn't so fun anymore. The hard part of this game is being surprised by some kind of vehicle or Darth Vader himself on the battlefield. Once you learn the vehicles weakness or get a vehicle of your own it can be very easy. I also felt there wasn't enough maps, once you memorize the map it gives you a huge advantage. There is alot of different types of playable charactors, most of which are really cool, but I didn't like there main weapons, so I played as the rifleman in all races. I suppose some of the re-play value will come from learning how to use these other troops affectivly. I mean who dosen't want to fly a jet pack? The unlockables smell of Lucas' ego, I mean stills and storyboards, give me a break. Overall though I say worth the price of admission, but not a blockbuster.

WOW! Is this a fun game or what!!!??

I just picked up Battlefront this afternoon and all I really have to say is WOW! This is the Star Wars game that I truly have been waiting for. Some people have been comparing this game to Dynasty Warriors saying that all it is, is a slash and hack game. I guess that actually intrigued me because the Dynasty Warriors series is one of my favorites of all time, and I also have a sneaky suspician that whoever would make such allogations might just not be very good at video games. I personally have yet to find many similarities at all between the two titles. But, Hey, each to their own, Right?
Lucus (George Lucus) has done more than a good enough job with this particular title. True enough, I am a fan of The Clone Wars game as well as Knights of the Old Republic, where Battlefront is definately more like a Clone Wars style game than Knights of the Old Republic, this game delivers a fun factor that seemed to have practically disappear from the video game world these days. The graphic artwork is pleasing to the eyes, and of course the missions are excellent. I mean who doesn't like to destroy an AT-AT or other large Walking machinery. Yes folks you get all of this and on top of that you get a very wide selection of memorable vehicles to ride in. You can not play the game as Luke or Darth, but you can play as practically any of your other favorite types of character including Chewy!!!

If you have enjoyed any of the Star Wars games in the past or are just looking for something new to fancy your enjoyment, then Star Wars Battlefronts is the game for you!

I mean look at the ratings! of course there have to be a few people who feel the need to TRASH Star Wars at every given chance, but do you really believe that these "trashers" have even played the game or do you feel like me and think that they trash it simply because it's Lucus' work?

Buy or rent the game, YOU WILL ENJOY IT!! :)
