Morrowind: Endless Possibilites

When I started playing Morrowind I was having an absolute blast. The sheer diversity and size of the game made me giddy. I played an entire array of different classes and races. I especially like the ability to create your own class. The game was fun and interesting, but it became tedious and unchallenging. It got to the point where your character will be all but invicible and the game loses its magic.

Massive

After completing and enjoying Diablo II & Lords of Destruction, I was looking for another game with more of the same but with up-to-date graphics. Morrowind is kind of like Diablo II but the game world is so huge and there are so many characters to interact with and give you side quests that the game drags forever. The graphics are beautiful and extremely detailed but that is the problem...too much things to see and do that there are so many lulls in between. You can talk to 10 characters straight and not get a side quest or get a hint of what to do next. This massiveness also makes it easy to forget what quest you're on when another is given to you. However, this game may appeal to those who feel Diablo II and its clones are too simplistic and console-like.

First I will start off with game details, I bought this game a while ago. The game graphics are incredible... well could use some work. U can create any kind of character imaginable... This game requires critical thinking. I think this game is great if u have a good system.... which brings me to the second part of my story... I have a Amd athlon 1.2 gig, geforce4 mx440, 256mb, and a 16x dvd drive. It performes with a decent frame rate, at around 30 fps in fast action. I could do better with a new system...
I would recommend a Athlon xp (at least an 1800) geforce4 ti, 384mb ddr and a 7200 rpm hard drive (if u do not want to use the disc and it performes better on hard drive.)...

A GREAT RPG...

I didnt think I would ever love another game after playing Quest for Glory V: Dragon Fire, but this game really changed my mind. I am currently playing and it is absolutely amazing. You choose your own course. There is no set path and you do what you want to do. You can steal, kill, taunt people, or be the "good guy." It's great. Besides being a good or evil character, there is so much else to do and so many places to see and explore. I was blown away with this game. The only part i didn't liek was the fact that the mouse is a little weird when you play and you have to use the keyboard to move and fight, but other than that it is great. This is a game that is worth buying. A definite chocie for any RPG fan!

Buyer Beware

This program is full of bugs. I am running a system with a 1.8 Ghz Pentium 4, 512MB PC800 RDRAM, 64MB NVIDA GeForce2 MX400 graphics card. This game will not run without serious stutter and hang-up problems. The system requirements box list this as supported hardware, but the readme file included on the CD-Rom list the GeForce2 chipset as a problem. I followed the documentation included with the game and contacted Bethesda. Followed their suggestions and the game still will not run without serious problems, even with everything set on lowest possible settings and latest drivers installed. Buy this game at your own risk, or hope that Bethesda works out it's problems and gets a patch available.

A Solid Game

The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind is an amazingly open-ended RPG where you can do anything. At the start of the game, the game gives you the basics you need to know to survive. But after that, you are on your own.
The one major flaw with this game is the one feature that sets it apart from all other RPG's: It is too big! If you look around, the product descriptions will say that you can explore the different parts of Morrowind. But, there's not much too see, and it takes you too long to get there. Another major flaw is the graphics. Unless you spend hundreds of dollars upgrading your computer, the graphics will seem sketchy in some parts. A few other bugs include flawed combat and stat upgrade system and bad voice acting.
There are many good things in this game, but I will not list them. If you are looking for a decent game that's not that hard and that you can finish in a few days, then you should buy this game.

simply put this is the most free roaming game ive ever played. ive only invested a couple of hours and ime hooked!!! you can do anything you want!!! however a few things made me detract a star. the map is pretty bad and could have used more time. also some of the orders given by guilds and the like are sketchy. and finally its hard to murder someone without them finding out

=( I wish my computer could play this
