THIS IS THE BEST GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED

How a RPG should be

seems to me alot of people have given this game 5 stars cuz there true rpg players and the others give it 1 star because there just not the rpg type. and theres nothing wrong with that. but in my opinion an rpg is a game with freedom fanticy world that requires pationts. through this game using pationts u can recieve SO much fun out of it but not all people look at it that way and get fusterated with intisapation. looks like the people who gave the lower ratings didnt have the pationts to play this rpg but i promise u is this game is a load of fun if its the right game for u.

i played diablo... it was fun till i beet it through to hell difficalty with most of the classes and got a frew level 70s wich didnt take that long and got very boring about half way through. with this game the fun will hardly ever end with a long story line + a wonderful replay system. not to mention the graphics (makes me drool) and a world bigger then "dark age of camelot". also the way the combat is done so it doent include that dreadfully lame everquest's "auto-attack" ...and then my favoret feature, the astonishing freedom of choice that really takes u into its role playing fanticy world :)

I have waited a long time for this third installment of the Elder Scrolls, and it was worth it! This RPG is incredibly good. Abstain from playing it if you don't want to be glued to your PC 24/7.

The construction set included with the game is incredibly entertaining and easy to use, once you get the hang of it. I was able to add a house to the gameworld to suit my character perfectly. (and believe me I am a very technology challenged person) I think I have spent more time on the construction set than on the game itself. It is so much fun to use and is not limited to modifying architecture. With it the player can create new objects, classes, races, npc's, weapons, armor, the options are almost limitless.

The official site boards are a wonderful source of information on every aspect of the game. On them, the players themselves enthusiastically share their experiences and answer most questions regarding Morrowind. Finally, fan sites are mushrooming all over the web with everything from tutorials on using the construction set, to solutions to the most obscure quests and puzzles. Leave it to the fans to generously share their creativity. All in all, I will be playing this game for a long time to come.

Kudos to Bethesda for another job well done.

Great game

Let me start of by saying the game, for some people, crashes on a regular bases. I have that problem also. Bethesda is making a patch to fix that.
I would give this game 5 stars if it crashed every minute. That is how good it is. The game world is huge. The storyline is great. There are hundreds of quests. Thousands of classes. Great graphics. Ten guilds to join. Comes with a consruction set. Hundreds of mods are already out. Just go buy the game. It is the best rpg in a very long time. If you have crashes the patch will be out in 3 weeks, but the game is still playable

As good as it gets

Elder Scrolls is not only a great game but and awsome sequal. It has many features such as creating your own character and an exciting storyline. Plus this game will keep you on your feet for a very, very long time. Not to mension the everlasting appeal on multiplayer mode on the internet. Overall this game is a must get and plenty to do that will definately go down in history.

The Greatest RPG Ever made

I am going to shorten my review by basically saying you can do anything you could possibly want to in this astonishing game. You can simply wonder around in the woods for hours, killing animals to improve your character's abilities, or you can go into a village and slaughter townsfolk, soon after stealing every single item in their house, down to the last spoon. Then, you can go sell all of it and become a rich man! You can join guilds and learn the ways of the fighter or the magician. You can do it all in this amazing simulation of fantasy Midievil times. It's huge, packed with information, and yours for the exploring. You can even swim out into the ocean for about 500 miles (I was really bored one day) If you're an RPG fan, buy this game immediately; no matter what the console.

Best Buy RPG

Morrowind is the most enthralling RPG I have ever played. There are endless possibilities for the character to act on, and the game has the best graphics I've ever seen. There are probably thousands of characters, and equally as many unique weapons, scrolls, and special items. This game can provide hundreds of hours of playing time. Along with the construction set, this game should be worth, in my humble opinion, upwards of two hundred dollars. A totally awesome game.

OK game

I've played all three games in the Elder Scrolls series, and I still think the orignial, Arena, was by far the best. In Morrowind, the landscape and culture doesn't vary very much from place to place, and the combat action can get boring. It was fun in '94 with Arena, this is '02. They should make the opponants appear wounded, or let you hack of limbs, something other than just red blood splattering when you hit them.

You can still get a kick out of this game; there is a lot of places to explore and many things to do. It's just not a GREAT game.

"Best RPG Everr?" What a joke!

OH COME ON. It's not the best. Sure, the *game play* is the best ever, but that's it. Infact, the game would hardly run on my computer, ... If you don't care about graphics and audio as longa s this game has a decent story line and good game play and is playable at some settings, the truth is there is NO harm in getting MORROWIND. But if your the exact opposite, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS GAME!

This game ROCKS!!!!!!!!!

I played this game at my cousins and loved it. You can pick your own skills, or, if your lazy, you can just pick out a premade character layout. There are THOUSANDS of different weapons, armor, and spells. The graphics are the best I've seen. The only problem is how your stamina runs out. Come January 1st, I'll have this game for myself!!!!
