OK, but bugs can be a problem

This game is good, it has many things you can do and weapons are very kool. But one thing that can be a problem is the bugs! I got to level 7 and i was going to save it and i did, then on the loading screen it froze! i had to restart it and got to level 8 and froze again. IF you can deal with it freezing on you then get it. if your only in it for the multiplayer, Then Dont get it, Get JAMES BOND 007: NIGHTFIRE, which is better at multiplayer then this.

Please DO NOT pay full price for this game!!!!!

I don't know.....Maybe it's just me? But, I sure don't see how any PS2 gamer can give this game even a "4-STAR RATING".....I thought it could have been a whole lot better!

It's not the worst game I ever played, but, definately ain't the best military-game either.....The potential was there for the makings of a great game! What the hell happened????

The graphics are ok (at best), sort of cheesy, nothing groundbreaking, the overall gameplay/controller use is hard as hell to control & get used to (there's way too many buttons to press for doing the simplest of actions), and this takes up way too much time, and it's simply hard to remember all the crap!

(HINT TO DESIGNERS OF THIS GAME: HEADSET & VOICE COMMAND OPTIONS)

Anyway all the button-pushing for simple actions totally removed any/all of the "fun factor" I might have had!

Yes, some of the levels, weapons & a few missions are cool, but paying $50.00 bucks for this game, (for me) was a complete waste! $10 bucks MAYBE, but NOT full price!!!!

This game could have been great! The potential was there for the makings of a killer game....I simply felt this game has left alot to be desired, and the game designers should have spent much more time on this game. A LOT more time!

The designers of this game basically tried to create a game like SOCOM, but, they failed miserably!!!

Personally, I feel that SOCOM Navy Seals is (by far!) the best "military/covert op's game" ever created for the PS2 console that I have ever seen, owned or played! No similar game, to date, has even come close to SOCOM, in my opnion. (With the exception of maybe Splinter Cell). Which is really a damn good game.

Yes, you'll notice that in many of my reviews, (with games like this) I hold SOCOM very high on a pedestal...And for good reason. Once you play SOCOM, you'll understand why I feel this way. SOCOM offers realism, a headset, a plethora of voice command options, ease of controler use, and GREAT REALISM....All features that all these "other" similar games are lacking!

The Best

This game is the best, my friends and I play all the time. I have completed 16 missions and have the most experienced and most well put together squad. The key to having a good squad is to restart everytime someone dies.
The best part is the special people you can unlock by doing the special task durring every mission. You can recieve guns, people, and even 8 extra levels(the levels are for after you beat the first 15 missions).
To end my review i want to say I hope this helped and I really fo think it is worth the money, and SOCOM is not that much better.

fun game to play w/ friends!!!

This game is excellent since (for once) there's more to the game than just mindless shooting. It takes a lot of srategy and is very realistic, considering the fact that when one of your men get shot they're wasted FOR GOOD!
All your men have a status of shooting and all that. This game is a two player and is really cool. I don't know any codes but I am working on them as I write.

Shooting 5/5
Realism 5/5
Overall Fun 100/5!

One of the greatest games ever

Ghost recon is a fine example of just how great Tom Clancy games are. It is a shooter and a strategy game *Which I Enjoy*. The game has a unique storyline and has some of the best gameplay I have ever got hooked on. In single player you command a team of men (You may customize weapons ect.) Then you go out and do what you gotta do. In multiplayer, it's you and you're friend against the world. The game is best played on it's hardest setting (Elite) it will remove radar and all the cheapo stuff and give the enemies great A.I. So run down to the nearest store and buy it right now.

Excellent 1st person Shooter

This is by far one of the best first person games out there today. The graphics are not the best but the ability to do the missions you own way and the AI's ability to hunt you down in Veteran mode are worth the money. There are 14 levels in the Russian outback and right in Red Square and an additional 8 that take place in Ethiopia. An excellent game, the controllers are a little hard to get used to at first but stick with it. It's worth it; you will play it again and again.
