When I first heard about it it seemed like a very good idea. So I pre ordered it.BIG MISTAKE!!! I opened it up played for a while and in less than an hour beat it. Now you'd be thinking that since it's so short that the hour would be a blast.WRONG!

All that it was was a bunch of retard characters doing stupid things that somehow came into little 5 second games. For example, you see an intro movie of a girl leaving work. She gets on a motorcycle and drives away. Then for some strange reason the police start chasing her. What does she do? She has a freakin' monkey go on the back of the motorcycle and throw bananas at them. And then it gets into the game. What happens is if you win the stupid 5 second game then the police car runs over a banana peel and swerves out of control. So pretty much the story(there's no story it just has a bunch of retard characters show you their stupid games) is messed up. All so the games.

From what I've read from the reviews it's supposed to be laugh out loud stuff. It's not true, but if you are a little retard who thinks that a monkey throwing bananas at police cars is funny than go ahead and buy it.

Then the games. You'd think that with I think over 200 5 second games this game would be really diverse and stuff. Pretty much it's just is about 20 5 second games with different pictures. It's either rapid tapping, or get good timing. There are some different games however like dodge stuff or ok never mind.

Then they have some big games that you have to unlock. They are only worth about 5 minutes unless your the obsesive type who just has to keep beating their high score. An example of a big game is jump forever. They have you jumping a jump rope. Pretty much all that you do is press the A button in order to jump over the rope. NOTHING ELSE!!! All the other big games are like that too.

In short, this game is a commplete waste of your time.

This has to be the dumbest game I've ever played It's way overhyped. However there is a few minigames that are fun but most are not.(the fun ones is why I gave it 2 but there are not many)

Dissent

I guess I'm the voice of dissent, but I didn't care for this game at all. Here's what I didn't like about Wario Ware:

-> Too easy. I got through the entire game, including unlocking all the other "games", in two days.
-> I was expecting strategic variety in the various "minigames", but almost all of them boil down to hitting a single button at just the right time (hit the "A" button at the height of a jump to sink a basketball shot...or jump off a ski lift, or catch a rod that's dropped into your hand, or catch a piece of toast launched from a toaster, or put a finger up a nose, or slice a bamboo shoot in half, or jump over an oncoming car, etc, etc, etc.) Almost entirely built on "one-shot" reflex timing, and not on strategy, logic, reasoning, skill, or anything else I'd look for in a game (or one of 200 games). The unlocked "games" (as opposed to the minigames) are, predictably, lame...they remind me of mind-numbingly dull space-invader wannabe games circa 1980.
I'd say the game was a decent diversion for 2 days, but it feels more like one of those demo disks with a dozen game "previews", except that it costs [money]. If nothing else, the company gets kudos for exploring new ideas and formats.

Waste of money.

I thought the idea of not giving the directions was kinda cool, but I was wrong. This game makes no sense, and is a waste of time. It's fun for a while, but still DO NOT BUY!

Great if you have A.D.D.

This game is really lots of mini games rolled into one. It's a solid original concept. Some of the games make you laugh so hard you nearly wet yourself when you see them for the first time (i.e. finger in the nose) and some can be quasi infuriating at first. I beat the game pretty fast though so I could only give it 3 stars even though thats the only knock on this game.

Micro-games means MICRO-games

After reading the description on the back cover, then looking at the screenshots on the box, I was thinking only one thing: A bunch of my old NES favorites on one $$ game cart. The thing that I was most excited about was the shot of TLOZ1; still my all-time favorite! Unfortunately, this is the one-and-only screen of Zelda, and the point of it is simply to get in the hole.

The back of the box is Wario talking about putting a bunch of old game clips together to rip-off paying consumers. That's exactly what Nintendo did.

On the plus side, I'd have to admit that it's fun to see how many tasks you can complete...but then again, there should've been more to it.

game for all you ADD freaks

I just played this game at Best Buy yesterday, needless to say I was ready to rip the GBA off the display, smash it into bits, and run away with the delicious Wario goodness.

The gameplay itself is VERY simple. You use the d-pad and the a button and that's it. There are 200 different mini-games that play randomly. There is everything from a karate guy chopping a log in half to ski jumping, even old school NES game shorts. The amazing thing about this game is you have 3 seconds or so to figure out how to win each mini-game.

I had a blast playing this, if you do not have a GBA yet this is one of those titles that should make you seriously consider picking one up. Who knew you could have so much fun making a finger go up a nose :p

Quite Fun

I'm one of those people this game readily appeals to. I don't want to play a game that takes three months and your whole brain capacity to beat. If I want to think, I'll read a book. So here is some mindless entertainment made especially for me. It's very quick and highly addictive, but never boring. And there are some unlockable games that you can play forever. It's not for everyone--those of you that want something to definitively finish or unlock the meaning of life with may as well stay away from this one. But when you're done with work and waiting for your ride there's nothing to top it. It's pick up and go, and even after the game's levels are done, there's tons more to do. Sound and graphics are surprisingly good for such a little thing, and if you're into games that go on forever, the replay value is endless. Some may get exasperated by the fact that there are some mini-games that are essentially the same but with slight variations, but this wasn't a big deal to me. Glad it was the game that finally made me pick up the GBA.

Wario Ware Inc. Megagame$.

After seeing that Electronic Gaming Monthly gave Wario Ware 9.5 out of 10(Fairly uncommon for a Game Boy Game), I decided to pick this game up. First off, know that Amazon's price is a little steep, and you can usually find this game for about 19.99$ anywhere, so if you want this game, don't worry about getting it! After giving Wario Ware a whirl, I was pleasantly surprised and grateful for getting it, as it's just what I needed for the Summer. A game that NEVER GETS OLD! Usually Summer's a bummer, but whenever I got bored, I just popped this game in and played it for hours. In other words, BUY IT! Below you will find reasons this game is so good.

PROS-
-OVER 200 MINI-GAMES- I sware, there are literally hundreds of games in one game! All of them are different, and each is fun in its own special way!
-ORIGINALITY- Wario Ware, without a doubt, is one of the most original games I've ever played, and I doubt you'll see another game even remotely like this one. For that reason, it stands out against such tired Mini-Game Video Games such as Mario Party.
-EASILY ACCESIBLE- No matter what age you are, this game is very straightforward and easy to learn. You only use the A, B, and Direction Pad buttons.
-FUN FOR ALL AGES- OK, I'm not sure if an 80 Year Old guy would like this, but Adults and Kids alike would have fun with this game, and maybe a few Senior Citizens...
-CHEAP-Unlike the price on Amazon, you can easily find this game at most Video Game Stores(Best Buy, EB Games, Circuit City) quite cheap, in the range of 15.99-19.99$. You can't miss out on this deal!
-VARIED MINI-GAMES- From Mini-Games where you Pick Someone's Nose, Brush Someone's Teeth, to shooting Basketballs, there are many different Mini-Games, and they are all different!
-ADDICTIVE "NEVER-ENDING" GAMES- Once you beat a certain amount of stages, you unlock "Never-Ending" games, which you play for High Scores. These games include "Jump Forever", "Paper Airplane", and "Skating". These games are the most addictive of the lot, and it's fun to play with your friends for High Scores.
-LITERALLY, NEVER GETS OLD!- I Have beaten this game A LONG TIME ago, yet I still play it and it seems as fresh as when I bought it. Excellent Replayability!

CONS-
-NOT REALLY A GAME....- REALLY, WARIO WARE IS JUST A BUNCH OF MINI-GAMES THAT YOU MASTER TO UNLOCK NEW ONES, SO DON'T COME IN EXPECTING A COMPLEX GAME LIKE ZELDA OR MARIO.
-NO PLOT- Really, there's no discernable plot in this entire thing, and it's painfully obvious this is a Japanese Game.
-TERRIBLE MUSIC- UGH! Please, unless you want to listen to the same annoying and grating techno music over and over and over(and over x Infinity), please turn the volume all the way down on your Game Boy.

Overall, if you're looking for a fun game to pass the time, without worrying to much about plot and mechanics, Wario Ware is for you. This is one of the funnest and most addictive games I own, and the only reason I'm giving it 4 Stars is its lack of a Plot and everything else.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! THIS GAME REALLY PASSES THE TIME WHEN YOU'RE BORED! NEVER GETS OLD, AND STAYS INTERESTING FOREVER! CHALLENGE YOURSELF TO BEAT EVERYTHING(I STILL HAVEN'T DONE IT!)!
